Keeta and Rhine spent the next delightful hour dancing to the soft music and then enjoying their dinner selections. They kept the conversation light and flirtations, but as they finished cleaning off their plates, Keeta felt herself begin to get a few butterflies in her stomach. The time was drawing ever closer and she was getting nervous in ancticipation. She eyed Rhine's plate as he finished the last couple bites.
"So...do you think we should be moving on to the next part of our evening?" she asked, her eyes dancing slightly.

"I've been ready since the start," Rhine chuckled. "And, there really isn't any moving to be done... Haven't you noticed that still no stranger has showed?"
Before Rhine had to say anything further the night was filled with more violin music. This was distinctly not Rhine's. Each of Rhine's sisters (including Natalia though a bit shaky), and Ceres were playing their violin. During their dance Rhine had left his mirror so that they could easily just appear.
"How about one more dance," Rhine said as he pulled Keeta to her feet. "I'm sure by then your maiden of honor should be here."

Keeta gave a nervous smile as she saw all the women of the family appear and she nodded at Rhine, accepting his hand and rising to her feet. She mouthed "hello" at Ceres and her daughters, before wrapping her arms around Rhine.
"I noticed that no one else was here. That didn't mean I knew the rest of the evening would happen here," she whispered to him, a teasing tone in her voice.
"You're so full of surprises tonight, I hardly know which way is up," she said with a chuckle.
"And yes, I hope Jiao'lan gets here soon, so that I can change into my gown and then you and I can become Mr. and Mrs. Rhine Harding." She smiled and squeezed him gently as her stomach did a little flip-flop. The time was almost here.

"I intend to stay full of surprises and one step ahead of the game," Rhine felt very light when he heard her say 'Mr. and Mrs. Rhine Harding. In a way it was so hard to believe the way love worked.
"I love you," he whispered as he pulled her even closer. "And, I'm never going to stop loving you."

"I'll never stop loving you either," she whispered just as gently. Very deliberatly, she moved one of his hands so it rested on her belly as they danced.
"And we're going to be wonderful parents," she smiled at him and laid her head on his chest, just enjoying their proximity to one another as they continued dancing to the song.

"Wonderful," he whispered.
As much as Rhine wanted to put his hand on top of Keeta's and have a moment he knew his soon to be wife's wishes. He knew that what she did was something natural. Gently he took her hand in his and kissed it- he made it appear as a dance move.

As the Keikancho-Jin made her way down the beach violin music met her ears. A dreamy smile slipped across the young woman's face as she carefully carried Keeta's dress as well as her own. The garment bags were stretched over arms which she held out in front of her so that she could manage without dragging Keeta's who was a little longer than she was tall.
She loved the beach at night and a sea-side wedding was all the more special.
Jiao'lan stopped a good distance away from the dancing pair, not wanting to interrupt but she made sure she was conspicuous enough to be noticed, eventually.

Upon one of their slow revolutions to the violin music, Keeta looked out across the beach and saw her dear friend waiting for her, dresses in hand. She grinned and pulled away slighty from Rhine, she nodded beyond her to where Jiao'lan stood and whispered to him.
"Jiao'lan's here. It's time for me to get ready," she held his gaze a long moment before releasing his hand and starting to move away.
"I love you and I'll see you in a few minutes...." Smiling she turned and headed towards her Matron of Honor, her butterflies growing. She gave a little wave towards Ceres and the girls, as she reached Jiao'lan. Leaning over, she gave the tiny woman a hug, dresses and all.
"Thank you for coming! Sorry for springing this on you tonight he totally suprised me wanting to push the wedding early and...I couldn't say no," she said sheepishly, with the underlying tone of excitement for what was about to happen.

Jiao'lan beamed. "Ah, s'not a problem, Keeta!" She exclaimed, excitement lacing her voice as well. "I was happy to come." For having bird-esque feet the young woman was fairly at-ease on the sand. "Everything looks lovely, Rhine really outdid himself."
She followed Keeta. "So how are you doing, then? I really don't want to have to tie you down, you know." Jiao'lan said good-naturedly, her tail leaving a line in the sand behind her.
She knew she'd have to remind herself to hold it up on her way down the aisle.

"I'm excited and nervous, but I don't think you'll have to worry about tieing me down," Keeta said with a chuckle.
"I do have something I want to talk with you about though..." she said, her voice having an even more slightly excited edge to it than before.
Keeta led Jiao'lan into the part of the resturant that was covered that included the bathrooms, etc. The resturant owners had converted the small private party area into a changing room for the evening, and Keeta sat down in one of the chairs, inviting Jiao'lan to sit next to her. She knew she couldn't take forever to get ready, but if she rushed herself, she didn't think she would come out very collected when it was time to exhange her vows.

Jiao'lan laughed softly. "Good thing, 'cause I was bluffing." She said tipping her friend a wink.
Jiao'lan hung the dresses on the highest and nearest thing she could reach so that they wouldn't touch the ground before carefully, and quickly arranging herself on the seat.
Her mind instantly started racing at the tone in Keeta's voice. If she had asked her to sit down before she started the conversation, that usually didn't bode well. Her brows furrowed slightly.
"Yes?" She asked.

"So it wasn't entirely random that Rhine asked me to marry him tonight, instead of waiting for our original date..." Keeta fidgeted in her chair, although she didn't know why she was nervous telling her friend this. After all the time she had been pregnant before had been under entirely more questionable circumstanes.
"I'm pregnant again," she said, letting out a relieved breath after she said it. Keeta didn't realize how much she'd been longing to tell someone until she felt the relief at letting someone other than Rhine in on her secret. Her eyes met Jiao's and she waited for her friend's reaction.

Her eyes lit up, and her mouth dropped for a moment before turning up into a smile so large it should have been painful. "Congratulations!" Jiao'lan gasped as she embraced her friend.
"How far along are you?" She asked, her energy level sky-rocketing. She had so many questions, but there wasn't time for a full 'girl-friend's interrogation', so she thought she'd stick to the basics for tonight.
The change in date and urgency made sense to the young woman now, as well as make the wedding all the more exciting!

"Not very...8 weeks or so...but I'm not sure if this pregnancy will be typical in length, with the child being half dragon..." she looked at her friend, slightly uncertain. She wasn't sure exactly what this pregnancy held in store for her, but her expression of excitement returned just as quickly as she knew she would not be going through it alone.
"I haven't old anyone else but Rhine and yourself. We wanted to wait to tell everyone else until after the wedding...so please keep it to yourself. I couldn't not tell you though, after all we've been through." She leaned over and hugged her friend.

"Of course." She replied with a nod. "And thank-you, it means a lot that you've told me." Jiao'lan offered a soft smile, before returning the embrace again. "And I'm sure you'll both be just fine." She said, sincerely.
"Although, good luck explaining all of this to Joel and Camille." She said with a laugh chuckle. The young woman didn't envy her friend in the least.
