Probably a good plan, unless the mission dictates that you want her alive...
As for the uniforms, it's not a total bull. While it is unlikely that there is some instant recognition of the person being a stranger, the markings (like unit, nametag, etc) would be a semi-giveaway. But more importantly the question would be this:
What military unit carries a tranquilizer pistol?
That's the dead giveaway; rather than call for backup and threaten with a live pistol, you have a rogue gunner with a tranq. Who seems to be otherwise unarmed, meaning if she really was "dangerous" she could get away because he went in half-cocked.

Which it kinda does. At least for the moment. However there is more then one way to knock someone out. Like electricity lots of it.
Ok I'll give you that one.

Electricity is fun. It'll be hilarious if someone plays Hera, as she's the thunder goddess. Practically immune to that.
Another thing out of character to consider is that Athena's capable of fighting Hera on her own terms. Meaning she does have experience with lightning and being zapped, so she'll be resistant to that, and somewhat wise to it.

Gah... It'd be useful to have at least someone else erupt and be steady...

Aka Hera. Athene's kind of like the voice of reason throughout the RP, along with Nike. Douchebag goddesses are hera for sure, eris due to her vindictive jealous nature, and Artemis until she recovers from her mental state.
Persephone's kind of a nag too, but that's towards everything, since she controls the nexus of death.
If nobody takes up the mantle, i might just erupt a minor goddess for some change. If that's what you want?

Well, not sure we have a choice regarding that, heh. If you're up for it, I suppose! I really would rather have another person with us, though, it's almost like a 1x1 at this point :/

True, Tim has a character, but because of the interaction issues, I'm not sure it's fair to let him in if he's competing against two others for the same person.

Well, I was more worried about having other goddesses, really. I mean, right now we're having a lengthy discussion in a tent while everyone else is sorta stuck outside.

Yeah, and where to have them show up. I mean, the intro makes it sound as though Athena's site is the only known one, which means someone's probably going to have to go find another site and then disturb it somehow.

Actually, most are located all around the mediterranean, though most are in greece. At least that's my plan. That's the only thing in that time known, and it seems unfair to have them taken down by foreign powers. Plus, they could wake up from a power surge like another waking up, or maybe it's a time thing. Athena was first down, first up. I dunno.
