All this EmO pop crap is bullshit. Good music is hard to find. Normaly cant go wrong with classics though. Pink Floyd, Led Zep, Golden Earing..
Although i am more of a metal fanatic:AC DC, Ozzy, Judas Preist...
If you want even heavier: Cryptopsy, Behemoth, Kreator, Slayer...
Punk is very passionat: Sex Pistoles, Dead Kennedys, Rancid
Think of those when you want to broaden your musical culture

Nirvana (Bleach is a 'dark' album, I suppose), Jane's Addiction, The Who, The Beatles, Queen, the pillows (Japanese rock but it's all good), System of a Down, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Gorillaz, Eric Clapton, Ozzy, ..all kinds of groups. Groups like Simple Plan, All American Rejects, etc. can bite me.
