"Lead the way, Ka Shu Fa," Shing Shu said to Fa. She followed a few steps behind her, and looked at her sleeping tribe. Do they really know what she's doing for them? She wondered. "I'm an asset, how so?" She asked Fa quietly, was she just an item to be carried around?

"You are an asset. Just as I am an asset and Nu Ping is an asset. The defeat of these new rebels lays on our shoulders. Without us, the Sing will most likely be slaughtered." Fa said coldly, "Whether they wish for our help or not, we will give it."

"I want to help my people," Sing Shu told Fa. She wanted to prove herself to her parents who abandoned her like some stray cat. As if reading her thoughts, Won Ton, the street cat she sets food out for mewed from behind, she'd been following them. Shu looked at the white and cream-colored cat,"Won Ton, you can't come with us, keep Master Min company," Shu told Won Ton, without breaking her step.

Fa stopped to look back at the cat, "You should not abandon your friends so quickly, Sing Shu." As one who had spend most of her life forced to live outside her village, she had come to understand that animals could often by your most loyal friends.

"I'm not going to let her get hurt, plus, someone needs to keep Master Min company," she told Fa. It's true, the cat is her only friend, and she didn't want her only friend to get hurt.

"Very well." Fa was silent for a while longer before asking, "How did you come into the care of 'Master Min'?"

Sing Shu looked at the ground, then at the stars,"My parents gave me to him, when they noticed I could control air," the wind started swirling around them. "Since then he's been teaching me to control it," the wind died down,"though now I'm more powerful than him." She looked at Fa and gave a small smile. "Now, how about we continue to the river, where we're needed?" She asked.

Fa gave a single nod before continuing, "I am glad Nu Sou has seen the value of the mystics. We will play a part in shaping the world, I am sure of it."

"You bet it's a good thing I saw the value in you ladies." A large arm went over the shoulder of each of the girls, and Nu Sou's head was in between them. "But wow do women like to talk," he winked at them both. "Is Nu Ping at the river right now?"

Fa was used to Nu Sou's ways and simply nodded, unfazed, "He arrived not long ago."

Sing Shu bowed her head, Nu Sou's arm around her neck. She'd never had this kind of contact with any male before, she went quiet and kept walking with them.

When they arrived at the river, Nu Sou thumbed his nose, "All right, I was bored, and the chieftain is a little anxious. I don't want this to get drawn out any longer than it has to be, and as nice as it is to stretch out my legs, I miss home." He stretched and cracked his neck. "Nu Ping, hold up the river. You two are going to come with me. We're making a sneak attack. When we get back, Nu Ping will cause the river to overflow and wash away anything left. That should help." Nu Sou went to one of the boats, "Ladies first."

Fa stepped into the boat, "I like this plan better." She said, trying not to rock the boat. As a fire mystic, she did not have a fondness for water.

"A sneak attack? I like it," Sing Shu said as she gingerly onto the boat, she's never been on one before. "So it's going to be just us?" She asked, looking at Fa and then at Nu Sou.

"Yep, just us." He took his club from his hip and started rowing across. "Shouldn't be too bad. The chaos you two can create should be enough to give even me a fighting chance." He chuckled. "And such a beautiful night for it." They crossed and landed on the other side, "All right, do you have some incredible air powers new kid?"
