I sadly can not remember the last piece of old animation I watched. It's been mostly Rocko's Modern Life and Spongebob. . . .

I've been rewatching Card Captor Sakura.

I heart CCS so much! I never actually finished it though I don't want to end so I never watched the last few episodes.

blaugh That's too funny! You can finish the series but just don't watch the second movie then. razz The second movie picks up right where the series ends basically.

Actually, I rewatch and reread it all the time because I don't want it to end either. It's just so good! heart

We've watched both movies already sadly. I just hate ending good shows like that. Bebop was the same way. Although we did actually finish that one.

Ah see, with Bebop we totally differ. I couldn't wait for that to end. It wasn't very good.

You didn't like the end?! I actually thought it was sad, but very fitting for the way the characters were set up. It just seemed right.

Oh, I think you misunderstood. I didn't like the entire series or movie. I think Cowboy Bebop is highly overrated because it was one of the first mainstream "adult" oriented anime to come to the US. Overall, I thought the characters were very flat. I also hate jazz music. I didn't hate series. I just didn't like that much.

You know, that's kind of funny. I found that it was one of the few series that actually lived up to the hype it got. Most other things people tell me are fantastic fall really flat in my book. I think its interesting that you and I saw it two completely different ways. (Neither of us could be accused of not having seen enough anime to compare it to either.) I also found it was one of the few dubs I could actually stand.

Yup, we've both seen tons of anime to compare. 3nodding It was very interesting to be in the same room as a rah-rah fangirl for Bebop, someone who feels the same as you and someone else who feels like me all talking about Bebop. The 4 of us had quite the conversation but remained friends the whole way. As with everything, it's all about personal taste.

You'll love this though. I just had a girl in the anime forums give me a vocabulary lesson because apparently I didn't understand what she was talking about. I very calmly responded to her that I didn't need the lesson as I knew full well what she was talking about when I responded to her. I said she should probably take a moment to think about what I wrote instead of quickly typing a response. I also stated that I was probably twice her age so we've never really agree. My bottom line is always you like what you like. It all just reminded me how I should really stay out of those childish forums. talk2hand

Ah, back on track. I recently bought the DVD boxsets of Death Note and have been watching those. I'm on the second half of the series now. Sadly, it's where the series takes the bad turn for me. sad I have friends that like Mellow and Near but I never did. Although, I never was an L fan, the series just falls apart without him.

I regularly alternate between the old Batman cartoons, Justice League and Young Justice.

Trigun was the last anime I watched, but my homies and I watched Cats Don't Dance last night too (Apparently none of them had seen it growing up???)
