Sweat began to bead on Tanith's forehead as she continued to flap. The muscles she never knew she had in her wings began to burn, and she felt ready to give up and began to fly lower. She remembered her mother teaching them how to land safely, and began gliding on the air giving her wings somewhat of a break, all the while angling downward.
"I agree with your mother. Both of you have gone so far today, but we don't want you two hurting yourselves. I'm very proud though," Lucian followed his daughter as she dropped down toward the ground. "Tanith is going in for a landing, I'm going to go with her and see that she lands safely. You both have done so excellent!" he beamed looking up to his son, then to his mate as he changed his mind, "Akemi would you like to continue flying with him? If not, you can go with Tanith and I'll watch Gunju."

Akemi looked to her son and nodded, smiling warmly. "I think he'd love it if you watched him Lucian. I'll help Tanith once she lands." With that said she began gliding down, quickly moving close to her daughter, ready to help if she needed it.
Gunju heard that his Father would watch him, and flew over and around him, until he landed on his back, giving his Father a lion hug. "You saw me right Dad? I was so high up! Just like you." Lets his wings drape a bit to rest them.

Tanith heard her father and smiled. She loved that her mother was coming with her, and now all she had to do was land perfectly! Constantly Tanith searched for and tried her best to get her parents approval, even if she was young she wanted to be the perfect daughter for them her entire life. Tanith had a strong yearning to bring honor and pride to them all, and she vowed to herself that she would. "Did you see me? I went farther today mommy!"
Lucian flew quickly toward his son and chuckled as he was hugged. "I did! You were so great! Like a king in the skies! By the time you're all grown up, you'll be one of the best flyers in history!" He felt so proud of their cubs and couldn't help but to show it.
