Coyol couldn't help but sigh in relief as the jaguar was finally released, but she made no move to either return the trinket or release Naolin. Instead, the sorceress gripped the Fa'e harder, grinning as his eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.
Once freed, the feline made sure to slash again at the flaming Fa'e, slashing perpendicular to his previous detailings of this teen's rump. He hissed momentarily before chuffing indignantly.
Naolin filled himself with as much rage and hate as possible to block out the pain and the knowledge of the death that appeared to be forthcoming. After all that had happened, he was to die dangling in the air at the hands of his sister, who he had already killed once.
He hadn't even had much of a chance to talk to Nochtli, and for some reason, that made his chest ache amidst the burning.
Speaking of the crazy woman, Naolin caught the slightest of motions from behind his sister, and before he (or anyone else for that matter) had a chance to react, the Cihuateteo gripped her hands around the bare flesh of the sorceress.
Her body went rigid and began to seize, allowing Nao to once again crumple to the ground while gasping and coughing violently for much needed air.
"You need to leave," Nochtli suggested strongly.

Perhaps he was seeing things, but at the same time, Guelherme was not entirely sure that was the case. The lovely girl he had seen creeping through the dark streets in that first vision, was holding the witch woman for all she was worth! Which was not especially much, in Guelmy's estimation, but it was something.
Gathering himself as much as he could, the flaming youth tried to crawl over to his friend and revive him. "Naolin? Naolin wake up, we need to go. The vision girl is helping, I say we listen to the menina." Desperately, he looked at the orb hanging from the woman's hand. It was important, to have that power but...no. It could be replaced in time.

The jaguar hissed, eyes wide in fear as he watched his mistress collapse on the ground, eyes rolling into the back of her head. He felt her pains, and didn't know what to do. Should he attack the Cihuateteo and risk killing Coyol, or should he attack the two Fa'e.
His rage and confusion mixed with the fear that tainted his boiling blood, and he roared, muscles twitching in preparation of an attack.
"Hurt anyone, and I will kill her... Slowly," Nochtli snarled sharply, hands sliding into eagle-like claws that pierced the now leathery skin of the sorceress. Without her magic in her control, the beauty escaped her, leaving her as a disturbing bag of ancient leather spread over bones.
Everything spun for Naolin, but Guelmy's voice guided him through the haze of it all. "Quema," he agreed, slipping into his native tongue as he battled to keep hold of the conscious world.
Though her attention was intense on the feline, Nochtli noticed her lord's traveling partner searching for the orb from earlier. Nimble fingers worked their own magic with the sorceress' rigid hands, and soon the orb rolled free. A pointed look was given to the serpentine Fa'e, but otherwise Nochtli ignored him.
"Take your bag," she informed Naolin forcefully as sweat began to bead and slip down her painted skin.
One thing Naolin knew, was that this Nochtli could not only take care of herself, but that weak did not suit her well. Deep down, he knew he could trust her, and so he did.
"Yes, the bag..." Naolin repeated, knowing that Guelmy would listen to him better than the woman. His woman? He glanced back at where she stood, gripping the sorceress and being circled by the angry feline.
He felt...
"Humanity is beneath you," she hissed, eyes glowing dangerously with anger for a moment before they calmed. "Our paths will cross again as long as there is faith in us." And with that, she turned sharply to focus all of her energy and attention onto her situation.
It was time to leave.
