Plopping down she pressed a paw to her forehead, "God. What is happening to me?" Her other paw raised and extended towards him before quickly dropping again.

Kutai moved in next to Fuega and slowly laid down, putting a paw on hers gently. All he could do was smile warmly at her, at this point.

With her head hanging down, almost in defeat, Fuega muttered, "Seems you have won, Fo......Kutai....."

Kutai smiled as he used his free paw to gently urge her to look at him. "It is not about winning, Fuega. It's about feeling."

Kutai smiled. "I broke you free of your bonds made by rage. Now you know life without pain. But that was merely my part of the battle. You broke yourself from those bonds and now...you live as a being reborn."

Kutai smiled and softly nuzzled Fuega. "Because it hurt me to see someone else in needless pain. By helping you feel alive and not in pain, it alleviated my own pain."

This stunned her. He hurt because she was in pain. At his nuzzle she sighed what seemed to be relief. She had never seen it coming. Never noticed her lack of aggression towards him, until now. Instead she felt warm. Comfort. Safe. It was the last one that surprised her. And yet confused her some what. How could another make her feel safe. "And now you job is done then?"

Kutai shook his head slowly. "Of course not. I can't fall for someone to leave them. That would only cause more pain that is needless. I intend to stay with you for a long time...if you would have my company."

Kutai looked at Fuega and smiled. "I care for you Fuega. When you fall for someone...you start to care about them deeply. You are comfortable with being around them, you look forward to their presence...and it calms you. You feel at peace with the world, and at that point nothing could bring you down...this eventually leads to love."

Again her heart beat heavily at his words. Was this something she wanted him to say? By now a small thought was forming. "I see....then it seems I have......'fallen'"

Leaning towards him she pressed her head to his shoulder, "How do you know when you are no longer...caring...and have turned to ...." Her nose wrinkled at the word, "Love."
