Mizuki blinked as Raine entered his personal space, then shook his head disapprovingly. "A captain should know better than to come that close to another during combat Raine." He said with a slight tsking sound, raising his left hand as he did. "Sokatusui." He spoke the words simply, but the effect was large just the same. A burning blast of blue flame exploded from Mizuki's hand, heading for Raine at point-blank range.

Raine moved out of the way of the attack just in time, using a shunpo to end up behind the captain. "Dont reprimand me Pervy Old Man." she said in a light tone and pointed her hand palm out towards his lower back. "Bakudō #61: Rikujōkōrō." she said softly, almost to herself. As the rods formed themselves, Raine made sure to put enough energy into them to make them faster and last longer, but not enough to make her tired. If this didnt work, she still had another backup plan.

Mizuki whirled around as he felt Raine moving, releasing several slashes from his sword that burst towards her and disrupted her kidou as she formed the rod. Not waiting to see if his cuts made contact, he flash-stepped to the left and lifted his sword above his head, the blade glinting lightly like a beam of moonlight. "Getsukaji!" A brilliant flare of white fire cut through the darkness, burning towards Rain at lightning speeds.

Not having time to cover her eyes from the blinding light with her arm, Raine pulled a duck and roll movement. As she rolled, she whispered her release phrase and went into shikai, causing a large crack to form in the ground as she jumped back to her feet and behind Mizuki, aiming to catch him off guard. Aiming low this time, she slashed at his legs, wondering how he would dodge. If he did like he was showing a tendency to, Raine had a nasty surprise for him. As she swung her blade, she blinked rapidly, trying to clear her eyes from the spots that danced in them.

Mizuki leaped into the air, flash-stepping to a position directly above Raine, pointing his zanpakutou at the top of her head. "Shouldn't have done that girl" He chuckled, a wide grin spreading across his face. "Getsukaji!" A arced wave of white fire shot down at Raine, searing with intense heat. Mizuki flash-stepped to the right and down a little, "Getsukaji!" Another arced wave of flame approached, a half second behind the first, with two final steps, he appeared on her right, "Getsukaji!" and released another blast of fire, then appeared in front of her, around fifteen yards away, and pointed his blade directly at Raine's face. "Rippuku!" With a flash of bright light, he burst forward, crossing the distance in the space of a half-second, bringing a powerful slash accompanied with explosive reiatsu down at Raine's head.

"Trampa de fuego!" Raine yelled almost desperately, focusing her reiatsu into four large walls of fire. The walls blocked out the Getsukaji aimed at her head, and surrounded her entire body, except for behind her. As three of them came down to the ground, they made a large thudding noise, accompanied by cracks in the ground and a shake in the immediate area the two captains were in. The wall in front of her and over her head stopped the many attacks aimed at her head, and she was glad they did.
Breathing slowly, Raine waited a few long seconds before getting rid of all the walls by slashing threw them like they were melted butter. She could still feel the heat from both her walls and the Rippuku explosion. Flash stepping a good distance away from the "impact site" Raine looked at Mizuki, then ignited her blade so it was now full of flames. In the very center of the flames, her blade could still be seen, but only faintly.

Mizuki smiled again as Raine managed to dodge his attacks. He was enjoying this fight. Unfortunately, he was running short on time, and needed this reckless smashing to stop. He turned slowly on his heel, and stared Raine straight in the eye, flash-stepping to within ten yards of her. "I'm afraid our time is about to be cut short Raine." He said with a light smile, flexing his hands as he did. "I do not have time to waste bouncing around like a lunatic. I'm afraid I will have to end this soon." With a flick of his wrist, Tsukiyo began to spin about his index finger, releasing several blasts of reiatsu out to each side of Mizuki. He twitched his hand again, and returned the zanpakutou to his hand, this time with the blade pointing down. "Bankai" He said, his voice echoing slightly in the night air. Immediately, the shadow around them expanded, covering the entire gate entrance as well as a good amount of the surrounding houses. Tsukiyo vanished completely, turning to a black dust in Mizuki's hand. "Tsukiyo, Grand Eclipse of the Moon" He whispered, closing his eyes slightly and allowing the sensation of his bankai to flow through him. He opened his eyes and glared at Raine. "You are the third person it has been used against, but do not be prideful, my reasons for unleashing it are based solely on time, not on your power-level." He stretched both of his hands out to his sides, palms up and fingers grasping like he was drawing a zanpakutou. The shadow above and in front of his hands solidified, then formed into twin curved blades, each having a four foot shimmering white blade which resembled his blade in shikai. "I'm afraid the games are over Raine" He whispered slowly, tightening his grips on the twin sabers. "No person who has seen this bankai has lasted more than five minutes." Suddenly, he was behind Raine, slashing down and at her right, then, he was in front of her, launching a double stab at her head, as the movement finished, he was already at her right, cutting both down at her head and slashing up at the legs.

"Time? What the hell are you talking about?" Raine questioned and watched his bankai take form. It was pretty interesting. Even better than his shikai, she admitted with a smile. As soon as Raine felt his spiritual pressure behind her, she lept forward, avoiding the attack. She squeaked and ducked, effectively going out of range for the head attacks and the next two that Mizuki aimed. Placing her hands flat on the ground, Raine swept her right leg in a swinging motion, trying to knock him off balance. As soon as the motion was done, she shunpoed away from him and stood up, breathing heavily.
"Bankai!" she yelled and was surrounded by a burst of reiatsu that created a crater under her, and shattered rooftops and trees around her. Jumping out of the crater with speed matching Mizuki's and maybe even higher, she slashed her brightly flaming blade in his general direction, sending a large tornado towards him. Shunpoeing behind him and three other places, she sent 3 more tornadoes, all going towards Mizuki. They were all about 15 feet high, and the same around, making them hard to dodge or cut through. The hot winds that they generated could burn hair, just by being close to them. She doubted that the captain would make it out of the attack without at least a few injuries.

Laughter could be heard echoing inside the thick mist as the burning tornadoes rushed towards where Mizuki had been. As Raine stopped moving, Mizuki was already behind her, black blades aimed at her neck. "Do you know how I move while in bankai Raine?" He said, breaking the silence of the mist. "The technique is called Kage-no-Shintai. It is not shunpo, and in truth, I am not moving my body much at all, perhaps just a muscle or so. No matter where I am in this mist, I can appear anywhere I wish instantly. You can continue to throw around those little burning tornadoes all you wish, but the fact of the matter is, you can not hit me with that attack." Suddenly, without a sound, he was on the other side of the black field, his dark eyes glinting with a strange light. "As of yet, I have been playing games with you, testing your strength to see what you are capable of, but I'm afraid that the time for games is over. You see Raine, this entire time, I have been fighting you at half-strength." There was a slight impact to the air, and a small crater appeared in the ground beneath Mizuki's feet, sending out small shards of rocks and dust as it formed. "In truth I do not like using my bankai" He said with a sad smile, "It tends to take the fun out of things." He held up his right hand, wordlessly dismissing the blade it held, and whispered a single word. "Tsukiakari." The entire field of shadow suddenly flashed with a brilliant white light, burning and flashing brighter than ten-thousand stars.((Tsukiakari is a blinding technique, which will take away your sight for the remainder of the battle and will not actually cause you physical harm. For more see my profile))

Raine made a sound like something between a grunt of pain and a choke, really odd sounding in itself. The attack thing had blinded her, that was for sure. "Thanks for that." she muttered and focused on Mizuki's spiritual pressure. "Yes yes of course you have. That's why you've been so damn cocky this entire time." she finished speaking and pushed her bangs out of her face and blinked. It was odd, knowing that you could see a few seconds ago, and then everything went black in the next second. Was this how Mikhail felt every day of his life?
"Alright c'mon then old man. Finish me off since we're done playing games." as she finished speaking, she stomped on the ground, not in a childish way, but instead in a testing way. Under her foot a crater formed, and she smiled more. She could work with this.

Mizuki sighed and dismissed his second sword, rolling and flexing his shoulders as he did. "As you wish Raine." He said, closing his eyes for a moment, "But I shant be finishing you off, not this time. Killing a captain is not on my current agenda I'm afraid." He raised a hand to the shadows, forming a new weapon. "Heki-za-Zora." A jet black bow formed in his grip, solid and unmoving in the flickering shadows. Bright silver swirls were etched along the length of the shaft, and the string was made of pure reiatsu. Mizuki raised the bow slowly, placing two fingers along the string and summoning an arrow of flame. Then burst into action. First, he took several quick steps forward, changing the position of the shadow field around the houses. Next, he appeared directly to Raine's left, drawing back the arrow to his ear and nearly releasing it. He closed his eyes for a moment, then dismissed the bow with a sigh. "I am bored of this Raine." He said simply, appearing a few steps in front of her. "I no longer wish to fight, and will be returning to my squad now. You may keep what is left of your precious vodka." As a show of good faith, he dismissed his bankai, resealing his zanpakutou and returning it to it's sheath.
((Sorry.. I just really need to go to bed and don't wanna leave this hanging.. I have time to role-play out a few quick plot points though. Oh, and you can see now.))

Smiling wide as he side came back in a flood of colors, Raine flipped Mizuki the bird and flash stepped onto the roof, grabbing her vodka. Quickly, she sealed her zanpakutou with a flurish that left a few stray embers floating in the air. "You owe me dinner and drinks." she called from her perch and began laughing. Jumping down in a fluid movement, she hid the bottle and walked towards Mikhail, who looked like he was in his own mini fight. She wondered how that would end. By the looks of it, it wasnt going to end with a happy truce.

((2 am, hitting the sack, lol.))
Mizuki laughed and withdrew his small saki bottle from underneath his cloak, taking a quick drink before flash-stepping away from the gates. He wasn't quite sure why he was intrigued by the female captain, but she certainly had a fair amount of spunk, and no shortage of courage or power. Still, he had more pressing matters to attend to. It was nearly time after all..

A sharp pain radiated throughout his skull as Tezuka rammed Mikhail directly in the forehead with his own. He is a hard headed individual. Releasing his fellow Captain's hand, he felt Tezuka kick off his chest. Backing off a good distance and getting his bearings, Mikhail squinted his sightless eyes and took in a deep relaxing breath. Exhaling it slowly and with force, he shunpoed towards the Taichou of the 3rd. You want these gates, then fight for them.
As Taichou of 2nd Division, Mikhail was far more fond of hand-to-hand combat than he was using his Zanpakuto. In fact, Mikhail had never actually used his sealed Wakizashi. It was a rarety that he ever released it as well, he was far more fond of his hands and his Hollow powers, despite the fact that he tried to keep his abilities as a Vizard hidden.
So now, as he rushed towards Tezuka, Mikhail prepared to do a left hook across the Captain's jaw. It was a relatively straight forward punch but things were just getting started, Mikhail needec time to warm up a little before things got heated.

"One day you'll get bored of that s**t!" Raine yelled as Mizuki took a drink of his sake. Flipping his now gone for the bird again, she turned to Mikhail again and let her eyes widen. "Well. I'll just stay out of your way then Captains." she said with a wave and a shunpo onto the wall that she and Mikhail had sat on earlier. She wondered if he'd have all his little ant men go in and help out. Swinging her legs and watching the fight, Raine let her mind wander. She wondered if she was really going to get that dinner and a drink out of Mizuki. Smiling evilly, she nodded to herself. She was going to get her drinks whether he liked it or not.
