Furthermore, batteries/electrical power is an issue.

- And, no. But they would probably break down powerlines and converters. Plus people working in moderation and matinence probably wouldn't stay working so you can play gaia while zombies are killing people outside.
So sure, even if you did find SOMEWHERE with internet.. you wouldn't be able to run any websites.

The internet would survive as long as there was power. They have servers and such, so as long as computers remain on, the internet does. When power fails--and we're talking on a world-wide level, if the 'disease' even gets that far--the internet fails.

I won't bother re-writing mine, since I seem to be the only one here who lives in an island town in Florida, so HA, my chances of survival are better than yours by at least 10%, but of course It doesn't matter since even the easiest survival chances can be F@%$ED up by an idiot(s).

An island town in FLORIDA?
Where the climate is warm and moist all year. And an island? Even if it was a typo and it's INLAND. One hint of infection and you'll be shortly surrounded. As for I, living on the coast in a very low population-- I would probably have that life-saving 10%.

Yeah, I live on Ameilia Island in Northeast Florida, and on the plus side there will be plenty of food stores to raid and weapons to scavenge. And while I may be surrounded, if I go downtown, where the marina is, all I have to do is sit out on the docks and get rid of any zombies that get too close for comfort with a bludgeon or gun, most likely a bludgeon or machete.

I guess, but either way you won't be holding out for long. On an island, people have no way to get out of town, so raiding stores will probably be first on everyone elses list.
Therefore I believe all members of WoL should be preparing for this in advance. ;D

Now all we need, Bread, is a guide on how to most effectively raid supermarkets. This includes tactical planning, panic effect studies, the many different scenarios and situations that could possibly arise, and ballistics and firearm training, crash course style.

((Not if mostly everyone is a zombie, but you do have a point, I guess I'll just have to take what I can from the cold, half eaten hands of some poor sucker who screwed up, oh a sound in the dark, time to go investigate un-armed, and lets try and make as much noise as possible, and take the craziest people I can find for comedic relief, LOL, just kidding, it would have to be the opposite of all that.
