"The Akatsuki could indeed become a useful branch of the Angra Mainyu... If you wish to undertake such a mission, let this be your first in order to prove yourself." Maeva says after a small moments pause for consideration. Though she was not the brains of the operations of the Angra Mainyu, she was linked to Crius in some way. And in that way it made her quite easily capable of having her make some of the less important decisions without need of worrying about what the organization itself would think. "Should you need assistance in these matters, a member of the Angra Mainyu will be there during the time of need, in order to assist you in the fulfillment of your mission, all you must do is simply let us know and someone will arrive shortly afterward." Maeva then says, as she slowly nods her head almost in agreement with what she had just spoken. There really was no more need for her to be here, the task that had been issued, was no completed and she could vanish off into the shadows without much need to worry about anything else that could happen in here. Kagami's mission had been decided, and now it was time that, that mission be sent underway. Maeva's slender body slowly spun around, as she gracefully twirled herself upon the back of one of her spike like black heels. Instantly moving into an elegant stroll towards the doors that were just behind her, while the last of her required words would leave her lips. "If you need something, simply ask. Otherwise you are on your own." She says, before pushing the large doors open easily with her hands, a feat that wouldn't be expected to be possible, if it weren't by someone like her. Maeva then passes into the darkness of the hallway beyond, as the doors swing shut with a dry crash behind her.

Almost immediately after the door had shut, the entire room slowly began to grow dim. The lights of the torches on the walls, and the candles of the chandeliers hanging from the ceiling over the long table, growing darker as soon a single crimson eye snapped open in one of the darker areas of the room. This single crimson eye soon appeared to multiply as more eyes began to blink open in the darkness, and all swivel to lock onto Kagami's form. The darkness itself in every corner of the room casually began to shift, almost as if there was some living entity that was taking over the darkness of the area and making it come alive. A small crash went off in the far side of the room as the torches on either side began to be put out by what could barely be seen as a tendril like creature, partially serpentine in appearance, though it's appearance was short, seeing as it was used to instantly put out the small fires that were the torches on either wall. This serpentine creature could only be made out by a rough outline of a darker black amidst the newly forming shadow, and the blinking red eyes as it formed from the darkness on the walls themselves to put out the lights one by one in an alternating pattern. This effect continued to happen to all the lights on either wall, until there was only the dim lights cast by the chandeliers to light the room, and that would only show light upon the table itself. Once all the torches were out on the walls, each of the chandeliers were put out with a sweeping motion of a single black shadowy tentacle like presence from the ceiling's far shadows. As soon as every light in the room had rapidly been put out by these odd shadowy forces, demonic crimson eyes appeared to snap open all around the room in every shadow that was made up of the room now. The only remaining source of light was the single chandelier hanging just above Kagami's head. The demon like crimson eyes suddenly started to move towards Kagami, each one then standing just outside the revealing light that would show what they really were. Suddenly a voice rang from the darkness itself, by the claustrophobic feeling that the missing light gave, it seemed like the voice could be coming from any area at all, all throughout the shadowy room that Kagami was now standing in. "You're planning such a bold move so early, Spirit? Don't you think you would be better off begging for protection and supervision like our other new members..? The voice asks, before a sinister little snicker came from the darkness itself. A lone figure soon appearing to step from the shadows in order to partially reveal himself in the dim light from the chandelier above her head. Thantos Dante continues to snicker, his lips curled into a twisted grin to which fully revealed the sharp little teeth that made him appear anything but human. His long black hair trailed down unkept around his pale skinned head, while a long black coat to which appeared a hood and the Angra Mainyu symbol had been modified onto it, partially covered his normally bare torso. His arms hung loosely at his sides, fingers casually tapping against the legs of his plain black pants, their long claws flicking at the fabric and causing slight pulls of the fabric to be drawn out by this motion. Darkness seemed to fold itself neatly around his body, that odd serpent like creature winding it's way around his body, and resting it's own head ontop of Thantos' right shoulder with simple ease. Crimson eyes staring almost angrily at Kagami, they as well as any other eyes in the room, appeared to have an alchemy symbol born within. The Ultimate Eye actually littered the entire room around them, all watching evilly down upon Kagami. Thantos' body was still partially obscured in shadow, it actually appeared as if his lower body was part of the darkness itself, adding an entirely new tone to the mood that had been set, when the lights had dropped only moments before.

[And I'm so tired... I'm falling asleep writing this... O.o;]

"Well then, a little feisty aren't you?" Thantos says, before casually chuckling to himself for a moment. He did have something in mind, for now he would simply need to toss a fellow ally an interesting set of skills that he had created back when he was the same clan that she was now. "I used to be a Descartes... Before I was brought back through the gate, and made into what I am now... Back then, I had created two techniques that were based around draining chakra. One is known as Etheral chains, they can trap the opponent in place, by draining their chakra in order to keep the chains existing in the physical realm. The other is known as the Eternal Blades. This second one should be powerful enough to awaken your true potential as a warrior.." Thantos says, after a moment, before he slowly rolls his shoulders. "The chains are simple. They can be done by thought and chakra. Spread your chakra into the air, and draw the form of chains from your chakra, outwards as if that is what your chakra is making.. The chains will summon forth, from the realms of death through their portal like voids in order to assist you." As he says this, he summons a single chain from beside him, launching it outwards. Though since it didn't connect with anything, it vanished almost instantly afterward. "The Eternal Blades are simpler. Just think of the blade, and use your own substance to create it. From there, you can choose when it's solid, or not, and even change it's size, or shape. Or anything for that matter at your will, though proportions are restricting, cant be walking around with a twenty foot great axe..." He says, before forming a large scythe of pure ethereal energy, to be suspended from his hand, and resting with the blade against the ground, by his feet. "Try them both.. And then you can go do what you need to do." He says finally.

"What do you want now, Karite? I'm busy setting up plans for future importance at the moment. I shouldn't need to be hearing about whatever you're up to. You know where the missions are, go get something done." Crius says, actually appearing to walk out of the air itself as he casually writes something down in the large leather bound book he held in his hand. Crius' gaze casually raises from the book itself, while he continues to write. The Byakugan eyes forming in his sockets in order for him to look in more then one direction at the same time more easily. he wasn't sure why Karite had come to this place, in such a manner. But he was going to find out and then go on his way anyway. He didn't really seem to care for the most part, it wasn't his business. If it was an urgent matter, it would have been told to him before he could even ask what was going on with karite being here and all that other nonsense.

Looking at the leader of the Angra Mainyu made pysmon smile but he held out a hand to the male. He smiled before he got up in the air with out a smile. Pulling boots out from his bag, he tossed them to cruis without a thought before letting out a laugh. "Cruis, I may have been a pain before, But now times have changed and I've gotten stronger. Im giving the boots to you cause Ryu the member you have on the list should come for the boots. Im going to fight him for the items he has and give them to you as I have no need for them." Karite smiled at Cruis before walking pass him with a grin on his face. Letting his eyes close, karite soon opened them revealing his HuyaiMetsuki eyes towards cruis before letting out a grin. "Dont worry, I will kill Ryu at the sake of my life." Karite smiled before letting out a grin on his face before looking away and towards the trail.

Ryu had surprisingly to him made it to the main gates of the base with little trouble. His crimson eyes glancing back and forth as he pushes the doors open. '******** this place is like a maze' He thinks as he places a hand on the wall looking for Cruis, or atleast that little p***k from Hidden Cloud. The Uchiha slowly and carefully walks down the halls as he looks out for any of the AM members.

Sick of wondering lost, Ryu starts to use his Sharingan to track the chakra of those in the the base. Was this truly a smart idea? He didn't care, as long as he found out why Angra Mainya keep sending assassins after him for some ungodly reason. Anyway the first charka signature he found was twisted and dark, Ryu figured it was Crius but it felt familiar so that left that boy, or the General that with stood his black flames. It seemed the best bet to follow it, since both were viable targets to find Crius. His black cloaked morphed into a shoulder cap as he moved through the castle. By the time the Uchiha found the source, he realized it was the uppity brat from Craftsman that knew his name. By now the cloak was merely a shoulder cape, its insides were blue from the cloak of Undine while and outside remained black, it was a clever way to hid the cloak, by simply tailoring it to his own living cloak. Otherwise the Uchiha's armaments looked much the same; his katana and a scimitar like blade on his left hip, with a short sword sheathed on each of his legs, and two b*****d swords on his back. Ryu prided himself of these weapons, after all he crafted most of them. His torso was covered in a special crafted Mugen armor, other wise the young man was dressed in all black. His crimson eyes lock onto Karite as he yawns, "You still have me at a disadvantage, Boy. Whats your name, since I doubt your leader is going to be mourning you very much."

Ryu's Sharingan Tomoe spin, starting from his level 3 eye and moving up to Mangekyou then to a new level for the boy to see Kasai Genku. Though even if he fought and slayed a thousand Uchiha, Karite would never encounter an eye such as this one. Watching the curse mark burn a pattern over Karite's body, Ryu simply smirks as bar lines stretch out over his own body like a tattoo. The young man then drew the katana at his side, causing it to wisp with black flames before he run towards Karite as if he was going to strike him, though for Karite the Uchiha was running slightly off to side, so even his eyes that would seemingly slow down time would know what was really going on here. Suddenly Ryu stops in the center of the room and does a lightning fast series of hand seals while a thin, mist like, layer of metal begins to float in the air and quickly feels the room as Ryu laughs, "Man o' man...You should be honored...I hardly use these eyes..and to top it off...your the first person I used my mark for..." His grin fades as soon Karite would feel the awful effects of both the jutsu and the chakra drain from Ryu's Metal Style within 15ft of his Metal Jutsu Style, hell it was floating around him and resting on him..and he was breathing it in.

Ryu looked impressed as the thrown weapons fly threw the air with great enough force to force the mist out of the way leaving streams of clean air in their wake. This how ever doesn't last long as the mist falls back into place a few seconds after the weapons passed. It was a good strategy to temporarily clean the air around the Bikou and the weapons, but when Karite moves he moves into the mist causing it to coat him as it had the tips of the weapons he threw. Ryu simply solidifies the metal in the air to stops the weapons and now to even slow Karite down. The shadow ball on the other hand was little concern to the Uchiha, even if his opponent was to say they had the ultimate accuracy granted by the Curse Mark on his collarbone, it flies by about a foot too far to the right by at least a whole foot and a half. It seemed Ryu's Taijutsu Tomoe had throw his opponent off more than he expected. As Karite flips through the air and kicks at the lights over head Ryu, the swordsman seemingly stands there and yawns, "Eh? Whats this? I'm over here..not up there." Not minding as the area he stood in was surround by shadows as the Bikou landed and stood on the edge, in the light.

Meanwhile the scene, for anyone watching the battle, has not changed since Ryu had entered the room and locked eyes with Karite for the first time. The world Karite saw and Ryu controlled was much different than this one that was viewed upon by who ever kept tabs on this upstart child. The one thing in the Genjutsu world that was true in this one, was that a bar like pattern covered the Uchiha's body and his eyes where indeed in their Kasai Genku form. Soon the bar patterns seemingly burn orange as then spread over the whole body, turning Ryu's skin a tan-gray color while he grows a long reptilian-like tail. The swordsman then readies his blade and without a sound dashes towards the Bikou before.. SLASH! With great speed, Ryu cuts across the face of the boy, aiming solely for his eyes. At Ryu's speed he was guaranteed to hit at least one eye before Karite could react to the pain, and if the boy was too slow then he would lose both his eyes in Ryu's slash. During the slashing motion, the Uchiha's tan-gray turns metallic, so if Karite were to reach out and stab at him, then he would have to cut past two layers of armor to harm him.
