Kaimen put his hands to his helmet and crouched low to the ground in a fetal position.
"Would you think poorly of me if I went into a rampage and began to destroy everything in sight?"
He asked her in return.

Iri derisively snorts.
"I'm already beginning to think poorly of you. That sort of act wouldn't help, though. Instead, why not put that angry energy into something constructive?"

Ren had already left the area and was making post haste towards the Tsuchi Dojo. His Byakugan had deactivated, Ren was still tired from the previous mission and needed to rest.

Kaimen rose to his feet.
"Iri you're the only woman I trust right now."
He clenched a fist tightly,
"Don't get me wrong, this isn't a love confession or anything but when the time comes I'm gonna need you by my side. What we witnessed just now could be something far beyond my Tsuchi Kin ability can break."
He stood there, staring. He wasn't about to move.
"You already know, I don't rightly care what people think about me, I'm more worried about getting the job done."

Iri crosses her arms and looks at Kaimen. For a few moments, she doesn't say anything. Then, with such seriousness that it's comical, she says, "Just for the record, if that had been a love confession, I think I would have packed up and left the Academy right then and there. Or declared myself a homosexual. Good to know I don't have to do either one of those things."
Back to her business side, she says, "It's good to know that you care more about getting the job done than what people think about you, Kai, but there's a point where that becomes a bad thing. Such as throwing death threats around and using your power level to bully your fellow nin. If that's the kind of leader you're going to be, then no matter how much you trust me, I can't trust you. And that makes us weaker. If you can do something about that, though, then my respect and trust in you can be mended. Need I say anything else?"

"It safe...?"
Dalcon walks slowly through the Zone, taking in the almost alien scene of destruction. He clutches at his sword, it being his sort of safety blanket.
"Of course it's not safe..."

"Course not."
Kaimen responded.
"But get outta here, I'm gonna clean this place up."
He bent down, touching the ground, letting his chakra fill the devastated earth.

Iri's serious expression softens a little and she deeply bows from her waist. "Thank you, Kaimen." When the ethereal woman straightens up, she says, "Come get me when you've got a plan. I'll be cooking up some destruction for the big hunk of metal."
Finally, Iri notices her student. The woman disappears for a moment, then materializes in front of Dalcon. "I thought I told you to hang back? Oh well. Kaimen needs us to leave. Let's go, Dalcon."

Slowly the earth began churning, first, grinding up the glass turning over and a over where soil from deep beneath the blacked one mixed with fertile soil. The sand was all drawn around Kaimen as he closed his eyes under his helmet, continually pressing more and more chakra into the ground. This was an old technique, taught to him by Zenrai. Back then he thought, life was less stressful, although, no one liked him, it seemed that some things didn't change.
The more he thought, the more chakra he used, the greener the land became, rapidly, trees, grass and miscellaneous forest shrubbery began growing back. He opened his eyes, looking onto the life he had renewed.
"Damn. Where are you now..."
He mumbled inaudibly.

Dalcon nods curtly, wisely deciding not to argue in such a tense position. He follows Iri dutifully.

Kaimen stood there, like a statue, meditating. He would remain there. For some time.

Iri assumes a solid form and encircles her student in a wing as she walks. It's a protective gesture, and also functional. Should anything threaten, already having contact with Dalcon will make it easier to protect him. All she has to do is use her air technique.
As they walk, Iri also admires Kaimen's handiwork. If he's capable of healing the land like this, then maybe he's not quite the loose cannon she had first thought.
Every onion has its layers.
After a few minutes, Iri gives Dalcon a nod and leaps into the air. She knows from experience that he can keep up.
"Home, kid! Let's go!"

And, just like that, Dalcon books it back to the safety of the Dojo.
"Kaze-home, or just home in general?"

"Kaze-home! I need to start beefin' up you and Jin. Certainly don't want the two of you to miss out on the inevitable fun, because I was slacking off on the job, do I?"
With that, Iri shuts up and wings in the direction of her Dojo.

Dalcon charges off, free-running with due grace, skill, and speed to the Kaze Dojo.
