So- let's start the rp off, neh? ^_^ They're all moved into their new home. Where should we start?

Tawn pulled the wooden flagon off the top of the fridge- an easy feet for his 6"2 height, and dug through it for a moment, sinking his long, brown fingers into the flagon. He shook his head and put it back, turning to face out of the tiny kitchen.

"Sarabi!" He called. "Do you know where I left my extra apartment key? I was going to give one to your mother, so she had a copy. But I can't find it." He hoped he wasn't interrupting her- Sarabi'd gone into the bedroom to get dressed for their 'night out on the town' to celebrate.

Tawn heard her voice and spun around, the extra key in his hand from where he'd just found it with her instructions. He was still.... surprised to see her, in her new form- her voice hadn't changed at all, and so it always seemed like he'd turn and see the pink and blue skullmonkey with the bright eyes, waiting to laugh with him. And so he always found his breath was taken away, when he saw her, and her beautiful laughing eyes, and hair, and her apple-rosy skin. He loved putting his hand on her arm, or to brush a bit of hair out of her face- to see that contrast- his dark skin on her light.

She was wearing a pink dress, with her hat off, and her hair loose around her face. It seemed to be a 'casual' look, just for their first dinner out- but... he thought she looked absolutely stunning.

"You look... beautiful," he said, taking the few steps needed to be in front of her. He brushed his hand along the side of her face, and smiled. "But then again, you always do. So you're just being predicatable, now."

Tawn flipped his menu over and looked at the back- mostly from habit. The drink menu was usually on the back, and since they always came by and asked what the drink order was first, he usually had a decision by then.

"Ooh," he murmured to Sarabi, "they have a cinnamon cream coffee." Then he opened the menu and ran his eyes up and down the list. "Spaghetti with meatballs. That sounds good, too." He lowered his menu so he could see Sarabi. "What about you? What do you think you're going to get?"

Tawn put his elbows up on the table, so he could rest his head in his hands, looking across the short distance to her.

"Mom and the girls are fine. Mom didn't know there'd be so many orders waiting for her when we got back from the convention. She was swamped for a while there." Mentioning the convention, and the fact that the family was on the road when he and his sisters changed, he felt a little guilty, and put his hand out to cover hers, where it rested on the table.

"I'm sorry I wasn't there when you changed. Mom didn't know that the convention would last so long. I think we all changed in the car on the way back to gaia."
