sug chan Well Set I don't know if you have first hand experience with this yet but people who go into college generally think that drinking is fun and so being overly drunk is cool or funny. It's honestly stupid and immature. I resent that statement^ I'm in college and I don't think drinking is fun at all... Of course I'm only a PSEO....

SetFireGirl sweatdrop I had the same problem...The cookies were always so tiny, and they were usually under done...Cuz I was scared of them burning, so I'd take them out every two minutes to check them...Plus I never wanted to use the thing since I was afraid that the whole house would burn down. Never let an eight year old read the 'warnings' panel...^^"
And Daniel the key word here is 'generally'. 3nodding It's not like I'm saying everyone who goes to college thinks drinking is fun and it's all just one big party but a lot of people who do go to college tend to just binge drink... stressed

I got a lot of new things as a kid... I'm not complaining I had a pretty decent childhood... That was of course until my niece was born. Then things went from just ok to hell. gonk

Awww, really? We were never considered rich in fact my family is pretty white trashy ghetto if you ask me. rofl But I still say I don't regret any part of my childhood. I really had a meaningful one I think.

xD my family's lower middle class. And yes really. She would do things like buy 200 something dollar dolls and had a CD changer, her own computer, a big bed, a large tank for lizards, her own TV that went in to this cool thing she had that was like you could open it but close it and it looked like a dresser. X_X Ara, she had so much, I HATED it.

Oh man she was living like an adult~! I think that would make me jealous/hate it too! I don't think it's right for children now adays to have the kind of things they have now but think back when we were kids, sheesh that's even worse! Cuz now kids everywhere have laptops, cell phones all these luxury items that I never had growing up sure it doesn't matter about the technology much but still that's insane! gonk I didn't even get a cell phone until I was 21! I had to BUY my own cell phone so I could make the drive from California to Minnesota safely. GAH I HATE HOW MUCH KIDS TAKE THINGS FOR GRANTED TODAY! DDDDx
I've always wanted one of those TV things that hides the tv in a dresser thing... owo;;;

x.x One of my friends says her family is kinda poor, but she has her own freaking LAPTOP, iPod, digital camera AND video camera and a brand new cell phone with internet access. And I'm pretty sure she has a TV in her room, too. >>
gonk MY cell phone is a prepayed with almost nothing on it, AND I have to buy my minutes myself! I'm not even going to go into the rest of it.

Yes but you agree that it's crazy how kids these days have all this stuff, right? I think that kids shouldn't have all this stuff at least not until they're like 16-17ish. Cuz I think digital camera's, cell phones, ipods/mp3 players, tv's, computers those are all things meant more for the average teenager at the least.
Hell Mayra's nephew is 11 years old and he has a freaking iphone... A FREAKING iphone! Now if that isn't wrong I don't know what is! gonk
You see where I'm going with this...?

People are spoiling their children way too much more and more these days.
and ya she was living like an adult>< While the only computer we had I shared with my brother AND sister! Ara I remember when people would still call those types of things luxuries but a lot of kids treat such EXPENSIVE things like necessities of life!

Yes exactly! I mean I hate having to pay for my cell phone bill but if I don't and something happens when I'm out and about who do I have to depend on...? No one but myself! That's why things like a cell phone are consider an adult item cuz really you shouldn't be wasting minutes or money by talking to people on them unless it's for an emergency.

I agree, it's just ridiculous. I mean...^^; I have an mp3 player that I got for this past xmas from my aunt, but it's a cheap kinda one and I usually don't even use it...Except when I don't have access to my boom box/radio thingie.

Ya, kids really don't see the responsibilities in owning them if you give it so early too! They say now most ***** catch kids through using kids lost cell phones these days! isn't that just insane?

Well I say it's ok for the idea to have music like cd players at least hell I didn't even get my own cd player until I was 12 or 13 too! It was around the same time I got my cat. I had bought the cd player off of ebay with my own money and I sent the money order off and everything. xDDD
I didn't get an actual ipod until 2007-08? I don't know now. xD;
