Nebulance Ok, that's good and clear. It wasn't when you just said you were an observant Noachide. wink that's because I am not halachally allowed to state I am a Jew.

Ok, so you're a Noachide that follows the commandments of the Torah. Btw, is there any significance in the difference of spelling between 'Noahide' and 'Noachide'?

Technically we are all B'nai Noach (Children of Noah) and have a contract with Hashem to keep the seven Noachide Laws. I follow more but must break Shabbos until I am 100% Jewish.

I'm a non-denominational Christian.
However, I grew up Roman Catholic, stopped believing when I was about 15/16.

Darth Adenn I'm Christian. Apostolic in fact. so what exactly does "apostolic" mean? suppose i try diligently to follow Jesus while you try diligently to follow Paul, does that make you more "apostolic" than me?

In Medias Res IV Nebulance In Medias Res IV Nebulance In Medias Res IV What is my religion? That's a good question, I guess. I'm a Noachide, an observant Noachide (Google is your friend). Born and raised a devout Catholic and I wanted to grow up to be a nun. Hmm, Google tells me that one of the seven Noachide laws is no homosexual intercourse... HaHA, no. 1. Murder is forbidden. 2. Theft is forbidden. 3. Incestuous and adulterous relations are forbidden. 4. Eating the flesh of a living animal is forbidden. 5. Idolatry is forbidden. 6. Cursing the name of HaShem is forbidden (Blasphemy). 7. Mankind is commanded to establish courts of justice. Well, I guess Wikipedia is wrong. Could you send me a link to the Noachide religion that YOU approve of? Let's make this clear, right now. I am a Noachide but I live as a JEW. In fact, many Jews consider me a Jew. I follow the 613 commandments of Torah, not the seven Noachide Laws. All 613? Of course you don't. I don't, either. Do you mean to say that you follow the laws for Temple sacrifice? We don't have a Temple, a Beit Hamikdash, not since 70 C.E. That is a bunch of laws.
So sorry, IMR, but that's just a pet peeve of mine, don't ya know.

I'm just saying, Many laws just don't/can't apply. I imagine the sacrifice laws might be at least a hundred of the 613; I don't know how many but I wouldn't be surprised if that were true. Also, the laws for Kohanim and Levites wouldn't apply to you unless you are one, and laws for men won't apply because you're female. And, no offense, the laws for how a husband and wife should interact, for example, when the wife is mensturating, wouldn't apply. When you factor in that you can't throw stones at a disobedient son until he dies and stuff like that because of laws of the country you live in.. Following all 613 commandments is quite impossible, and I bet there are ony Three or Four hundred you can follow, maybe less. I'm sure the actual number is on the internet somewhere. But, yeah, that one just gets on my nerves. Following whatever three or four hundred or however many you can follow is as good as 613 for you.
Oh, wait, here is something online: http://www.jewfaq.org/613.htm See all those laws? Look how many of them are about stuff you can't do now?

LordKhrima Catholicism is a sect of Christianity. I'm a non-religious Atheist. All that really means is I don't believe in a god. Haha, I have a friend who's Atheist, so no offense or anything, but a poll or study or something showed that Atheists are the least trusted people (at least in America) over terrorists and such. But hey, I still think it's the person who can't be trusted, not the religion. razz I'm Mormon, or rather belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It's a form of Christianity, albeit quite different. We have both the typical Bible (not some "special crazy mormon bible") , and the Book of Mormon. We believe the BOM to be another testament of Jesus Christ. We also believe in a Prophet who has a very close relationship with God and instructs us in what to do. Such as guidelines for clothing called modesty, what to avoid in drink and such like alcohol, smoking (and I know you're going to hate this) , coffee, and tea. (We can drink herbal tea!!) We also don't cuss, women are directed to have only one piercing in each ear, and men are to have none. Men should go on a mission when they are 19/20 for two years, if a Woman wants to go on a mission, she may do so for 1 and a half years. A woman is asked to be a mother (she doesn't have to be), and look after her children. We have lots of things, but this is just a few. We follow the ten commandments, and we have 13 articles of faith. We are not a cult, we do NOT practice polygamy. (That is the FLDS, we are the LDS) biggrin and that is a quick rundown of being mormon. xD

Your own Book says that the Father and Son came down to Joseph Smith and reply to a question of his by saying that all who claimed to be Christians were not, and that the people under Joseph Smith would be. And you are polytheists.
