zfatal As of September 30th, the latest demo has been uploaded. With a major glitch fixed. The demo ends very soon after you make the choice between two main characters. @Bread: Yeah. That zip file. I'll tell you what... when you download a file, it'll bring up that Downloads box that says DOWNLOADS in the top-right corner. When the download is done, just click the same download file in the DOWNLOADS window (very small popout window) and it'll install itself. WHERE YOU TELL IT TO. Then you can find it easily. Alternatively, search for the word "Sol" in your Computer Browsing program search box.
I clicked the HERE and downloaded the new one, but it's still left off where I'm just waking up after the thing.. and nothings new since the first demo.

Here's the thing. You should delete the entire game demo after you're done playing it. Because each different demo you download will require you to start a NEW GAME.
You can't enter the new demo from the point you saved at in the old demo.
But the new demo DOES have save points.

A little comment about the demo-- I like it. A lot. It has a good story so far. I've just left the place with those four thrones (something about 4 kings) and I can't quite figure out where to go next. I've seen the broken bridge, and there's this well and this little hole with a rope going down, and I got the chest too... I have no idea what to do now.
The thing I like about most RPG's in this style is when you're wandering around inside, you can go up to just about anything and the main character will comment about it, even some things outdoors.
It's a great way to add depth to a world. 3nodding
Of course, it's a lot of effort... I messed around, making the top floor of a tower, and I wanted her to comment on what she saw. 3nodding Of course, I had a bit of a time trying to get the working right. Type too much and the writing goes off the screen.

Type too much and the writing goes off the screen. I agree with your sentiment. I plan on doing something of that nature (comments about everything) but not for the demo(s). As far as where you're at goes... jump the gap to get to that rope. Simple as that.

Gah! I was forgetting to press the space bar!
Anyway, I finished the demo. I like it so far. 3nodding Can't wait to play the finished game, I want to hear some smart alek comments. And see what those books/papers say.
And now I have an idea what a World Map should look like. xd

How do you do cut scenes? As in, switch to other maps?
And how do you make a character pick something up?

Cut scenes are rather complicated.
Picking stuff up isn't, really, but it depends on what you mean.
