A picture might not be too difficult to find, if he happened to get his hands on one of Lee's old textbooks... Or the books in Mr. Katan's study. But Lauss had no particular design in mind. In fact, he wouldn't mind if the seamstresses completely made it up, so long as it was accurately worn. He'd definitely be asking Lee about it later.
Tilting his head, Lauss blinked a few times as the pink treat was offered to him, not noticing any particular shape to the fluff. It was edible, right? He thought he was supposed to make Rhian food, not the other way around, but he took it from her hands and bowed graciously to her. "Rhi is very kind..." Pulling a small puff off, he put it in his mouth the same way he'd seen Lee do with her food and let it dissolve on his tongue. His eyes widened as he, for the first time, tasted. Swallowing unconsciously, he pulled a larger ball of cotton candy and popped it into his mouth, savoring the sweetness. Soon the whole heart was gone, and he bowed once more to the essentic. "Eating is enjoyable. Is this always how food tastes?"

Zia smiled at the two newly turned Alters, hiding a bit behind Faolan. Okay, so it was slightly intimidated. They were both tall and both had parts it had never thought Essentics could have. Faolan put a hand down on Zia's shoulder reassuringly.
"Rhian," Faolan said softly. "Now tha' you two are properly dressed, maybe you should think t' be takin' your lad home an' return Lee's robes t' her. She might be worried on Lauss there."

Rhian blushed at Lauss' compliment and took his hand. "Not all food's like this, no. There's lots and lots of kinds and flavors and - and there's just LOTS." Her antennae flicked as she regarded her older sibling for a moment, and bit her lip, her eyes looking sad. "Come on, Lauss-teacher. We can go explore Farstep, I think." To Faolan she said, "Miss Lee threw us out, I don't think she's too worried."
Still in the front Room, Ellandra was simply trying to figure out where they would fit Rhian when the twins came. Lee and Lauss had moved out, yes, but the vardo was close to being overcrowded yet again.

Lee sat in her bed, thoughts of Rhian subsided for now, as she looked about the vardo. She was worrying about Lauss, though probably not in the same way Faolan and Rhian had assumed. Lee, like Ellandra, had no clue where her newly grown essentic would sleep. He couldn't ball up at the end of the bed as he had been doing the past few days, and there wasn't any room to set up a second bed. She wouldn't really have to make him sleep on the floor, would she?
Lauss, of course, didn't notice Zia's discomfort, but obediently followed Rhian. While exploring Farstep would probably get them lost, it still sounded like fun. "Ziazan may come, too, yes?"

"Ah, no. You two go on and have fun. I'll stay and help Mama and Fao with getting a bed set up for Rhian," Zia said softly, peeking around Faolan.
Faolan smiled a bit, shooing the two out of the bedroom. "Whatever you two decide on, gae t' see Lee first, yeah? An' maybe tell her t' come o'er here an' hae a chat wi' me an' Elle."

Rhian smiled and nodded, grabbing the two robes and dragging Lauss out the door - only to fall down the steps. "Ow. . . not again!" It was beginning to get annoying, falling all the time. Oh well, she'd just have to life with it, she supposed, as she stood up, helped Lauss - who she had drug down with her - up, and led him back to Lee's vardo. "Miss Lee? Miss Lee, we have your robes back for you," she called, antennae twitching, worried that the girl was still angry at her for. . . .whatever she'd unintentionally done.
Ellandra blinked as Rhian tugged Lauss past her, and turned to the back room where Faolan and Ziazan were, walking in with slow steps. "All right. . . what was that about?" she asked, taking in the sight of Ziazan and how . . . well, bothered the little one seemed. What was the matter?

Lauss hit the ground with an "Ooof", but was otherwise unaffected by the fall. He'd have to get used to it, or so it seemed. Hopefully he wouldn't get too banged up, and he thought the same for Rhian.
Lee looked up from her bed, standing and opening the door. Scratching her head, she beckoned the two in, feeling slightly guilty for earlier when Rhian seemed so nice about it. "Thanks..." Taking the robes from Rhian, she tossed them toward the drawers where she'd painstakingly attempt to fold them back up again later. Looking the essentics over, she wondered where Rhian had managed to get such a cute dress, and why Lauss looked so weird in jeans. Jealousy suppressed for now, Lee's focus was on Lauss' sleeping situation. "Hey, you wouldn't mind sleeping on the floor for a few days, would ya Lauss? I mean, just 'til I find something better..." Honestly she should have been prepared before now.
"I don't mind, Miss Lee." And he didn't. It wasn't like he hadn't slept on pillows before. Besides, he had bigger issues to address here. "We'll be getting the seamstresses to craft me Victorian clothing. Might you be able to draw me some pictures to show them what to make, Miss Lee? I'd be very grateful."
"Eh, sure... I guess." While that was the least of her worries now that he was properly clothed, she had to admit that he would probably look better in clothes tailored for him. Turning to Rhian with her primary issue again, she asked the alter, "Do you happen to know where I could find some really big pillows?"

Faolan looked at Elle, giving a shrug and playful smile. "Kids, eh?" He ruffled Zia's hair playfully, then pulled the Essentic over into a hug. "You okay there, lad?"
"Yeah, I'm alright. I just . . . I didn't know Essentics could have . . . parts," Zia said, trying to sort out how to word its thoughts. "They both look like you and Mama."

Rhian blinked, rather surprised that Lee was asking her - well, anything. Lee had never seemed to like her much, really, and with her reaction earlier she'd thought it would only be worse now. "I don't know. . .. but Mama and Faolan might - oh, Faolan wanted to know if you would come over for a bit, I think they want to talk to you, Miss Lee," she said, whipping up some cotton candy discreetly. "Would you like some fluffy treat, Miss Lee?" she asked, holding out the puffy, fluffy pink spun sugar with a genuine smile. She liked Lee, for all that the human girl resented her.
Ellandra, too, came over and hugged Ziazan a bit, smiling gently. "Oh, little one. It's because they settled on genders, I suppose. That's the only reason."

Scratching the back of her head, Lee wondered what they had to talk about. "Alright. You two staying here?" Lee was a bit startled to have cotton candy pop out of nowhere, but she took it and gave a confused smile. "Where'd you get this?" She hadn't seen her walk in with it... She wasn't about to eat it until she was sure that it wasn't a prank or something.
Lauss had taken to folding the robes in the back of the vardo, half just to be useful, and half because he wanted to perfect the skill for when he had his own clothing to fold.

Zia shrugged. "I guess. I don't think I made the wrong choice, though. It just feels . . . a bit awkward to see them and know I'm not like that."
Faolan ruffled the Alter's hair again. "Well, look at it this way, lad, you got sort o' th' best o' both worlds. You can wear whatever you please an' not hae th' weird stuff tha' goes along wi' it."

Rhian tilted her head and regarded Lee with wide eyes. "Do you not really want the fluffy treat?" she asked sadly, swirling some of the substance in her palm, intrigued by the feeling produced by generating the fluff. "And actually, we're going to explore Farstep since neither of us could before." Suddenly, she giggled a little. "I'll keep Lauss-teacher out of trouble, I promise," she whispered to the human teen, eyes sparkkling with amusement as her gaze flickered to the oddly-dressed alter folding robes. Of course, her gaze lingered perhaps a bit onger than necessary on him. Lauss-teacher was more than handsome, he was even . .. pretty!
Ellandra smoothed Zia's hair out for it after Faolan messed it up again, and looked it in its eyes. "The awkwardness will pass, Ziazan. Besides, you never know - at some point you might run into another Essentic who hasn't chosen a gender. And even if you don't, well, that means you're just that much more unique and special, doesn't it?"

"Eh? It's not that I don't want it..." It was then that she saw Rhian swirl cotton candy in her hand. "You make your own...?" Her voice trailed off, wondering how (and why) she'd managed to gain such an ability. But she decided it was fine; it wasn't found tossed in a trash can or on the ground or something, so she trusted it. She nibbled on it a bit, enjoying the treat as much as she would otherwise. "Thanks..." Lee was more than a little conflicted as to how she actually felt about Rhian. One moment she hated her, the next she thought she was adorable. There couldn't possibly be a more confusing person than this essentic.
"Yeah, okay. Don't let him talk to anyone. He gets in trouble sometimes, insulting people on accident." Shrugging, she felt as if she was hiring the girl as his babysitter. Noticing Rhian's gaze, Lee sighed a bit before speaking. "Yeah, so, I gotta go I guess." Lauss finished and stood, walking over to Rhian's side. "Lauss, stay close to Rhian. And Rhian, don't kiss Lauss in public." And with that, Lee set out, leaving the two behind her as she walked through the vardo door and toward the Grady vardo.

"I've always been special and unique," Zia laughed, hugging Elle. "I'm a snowflake, Mama."
Faolan laughed out loud at that. "Snowflake?" He grinned at Ellandra. "It didnae get tha' from me."

Rhian nodded absently and smiled at lee, but had absolutely no intention of listening to her "rules". Really, not kiss Lauss-teacher? Pfft. She'd kiss him as much as she wanted to, whther Miss Lee liked it or not! So thinking, she marched to Lauss and grabbed him by the hand, yet again tugging him outside. "Come on, Lauss-teacher! Let's go exploring!" She blew a raspberry to Lee's back as they went. Silly girl, like her or hate her, all those bouncing-around feelings were weird!
"A snowflake, hmm?" Ellandra said, smiling. "I suppose we'd best keep you well away from anything wrm then so that you don't melt!"
