[ "cadassi grinned. "Yeah. Noticing that normal isn't always what it's cracke dup to be in these parts." he teased.
"You never met the pirates? Lucky you, bunch of drunk, rude ones, that bunch. Kidnapping pae's, spiking punches..." he trailed off, shaking his head.

Memphis nodded. She looked at herself. She couldn't help but think that she would have been kidnapped. Think about it, she was a beautiful mermaid. "I"m glad I missed that. They might have wanted me." She then giggled at herself. What an ego on her.

Cadassi nodded, agreeing with her ego. "Expecially since I've never seen another like you." he said, a fond smile on his lips.
Then he leaned foward and pointed to her bra. "You're the only one I met that wears clothes." he whispered. He wasn't being dirty either. Just pointing out the obvious, poor oblivious pae.

Memphis liked that. She was the only one like her he'd met. She blushed a little and smiled. "Why, thank you kindly, sug." Then he moved on to her bra. She couldn't help giggling a little at that. "There's only one I've met that does. She's a Queen." Memphis told her. Queen Tari had a bar too and other clothes. Which of course made Memphis more think she was a princess.

His eyes widened. "You guys have a queen?" he asked, trying to picture a Queen naiad. It wasn't working too well. He wasn't sure what a queen even looked like.
"What's she like?" he wondered, picturing Memphis instead, older looking with more clothes. The thought made him blush for soem reason.

"I guess she's our queen... I didn't stick around long. I know she's queen of these other Naiad's that came from the ocean. But she could be our queen too." Memphis hadn't though about it much. After the lights in the lake Coral and she took off. They didn't find out about the rest of it.
"Let's see...she's blue and purple, had a starfish bra, a weapon thing, and a crown." Memphis did her best to describe the Queen. To her she was pretty and all, but nothing topped herself and her ego.
((That rp is still on going so I'll just say she left and didn't find out the ending since it's not ended yet! wink ))

Cadassi nodded, the picture of the queen forming a little better in his head. "Eh. Same amount of clothes. She's just wearing a crown." he grumbled, somewhat dissapointed.
"I've never seen a blue naiad before. What color blue?" he asked. Pointing between dark blue fish and light blue coral, he asked her to choose. "Which kind of blue?"

"Well, she might have some other odds and ends like me. You know jewels and stuff." Memphis hadn't memorized the queen. She wasn't really that caring about it to.
She looked at herself. "I'm blue and pink." She was tail blue and top half pink like a mermaid of old. "The queen's more of a teal blue with purple." At least that's what she remembered of her.

Cadassi grinned. "I know your blue. But your fleshy colored on top. I was assuming you meant she was blue on top." he said, trying to search out something teal blue and purple to compare Memphis's memory to.

"That's what makes me special, sug. I'm the only one that looks like a true mermaid." This had always given her a bit of a big head. She had the look and maybe a bit too much of the attitude of a mermaid princess even though she was not one. "And I can tell you are as well. Never seen a shark Naiad let alone a demon."

Cadassi blushed, reaching back to touch his own unique feature. He didn't have a big head about his own uniqueness. In fact, it downright embarassed him.
"I haven't either. Doesn't it make you a bit sad though? Knowing that your all alone in the world and there's isn't another like you?" he asked, walking over to sit by her.

Memphis hadn't really thought of it that way. "I guess I haven't. There are plenty of Naiads around and now those ones from the ocean. I was raised by Coral, a Naiad, so I guess even though I'm different they are still similar. And anyway I like being one to stand out."

Cadassi nodded, a bit depressed now. "Lucky you. I pretty much raised myself until I met my caretaker and she's as insane as a june rabbit in march."
Not wanting to dampen the mood, he quickly changed the subject. "Um... Wanna grab a bite to eat or something. I'm starved. And a little water logged." he said, chuckling at his own pun.

"Really? That's too bad, sug. Coral thinks she's a comic, but other then that she's nice." Memphis had thought they were down there a bit too long as well. She could stay there forever, but she was a Naiad and he wasn't.
"Sure, where at?" Memphis began to swim to shore. She knew of that tiki bar, but nothing else. Maybe he had meant at his house.

Cadassi followed with his odd cross between swimming and walking. "Not sure. Hula Bob's has a nice selection of vegan friendly items. Would you mind terribly if we went there?" he asked, hoping the weather had improved while they were under the water.
