Chef beamed as Chris approved of his plan. There were some days that he was glad Chris rose up to become host, and other days... well, not so much. Today just happened to be one of those previously mentioned days. "Gotta warn th'sharks'n'gators first, man," he added, "Dun want any of them gittin ideas or anything..."

Hey, he was a pretty awesome host! And he usually let Chef do whatever he wanted.
...Usually.
...Not that he couldn't be a pain in the a** if he wanted to be. Because everyone knew quite well how annoying Chris could be even to those he -liked-.
....Oh well.
"Of course dude! Also don't want them blowing up man...they're in the union and all." Interns? ...Eh they were expendable.

The post above is an understatement, or at least that's what Chef would say if someone told it to him. Handling Chris when he was on Audionip? Noooot very fun man.
"Yeah. Not to mention how many teeth they have, y'know?" He shook his head. "It's any wonder that ah haven't had any stupid camper come limpin' into th'infirmary wantin' me t'pull out said teeth. Guess even the sharks'n'gators know how bad the campers taste."

Heeeey! He wasn't THAT bad. .....Okay maybe he was. But if Chef could handle him after that little darting incident then -clearly- Chef could handle anything the host threw at him . Ever.
...Right?
"You kidding dude? The sharks and gators know to keep their teeth in their mouth..they lose their teeth in a camper and they won't have anything really -useful- ya know? Then they'll lose their contract and....well it'd just be a shame Chef-man."

...Chris would hope so. Otherwise, Chef had better be very, very careful from hereon out. Just in case.
"Mmm, yeah man. Do Molotov and Sasquatchenakwa also have contracts or...?"

Indeed.
"Nice job, man," Chef complimented, daring to pat the host on the head. Hey, at least he didn't add Good Boy! to that. "You've thought about this more than Rufus. Tch! Man didn't even take any of mah ideas... jerk."

Chris frowned slightly but...really it was only half-hearted. He didn't -mind-. Really! He just had to make it look like he did...yeah. If any campers saw this he'd never heard the end of it. ...Or if the -Producers- saw it...UGH.
"Of course dude! Rufus.....didn't always see all the angles." More like Rufus wasn't backed by the absolute devious mind that McLean was. Really, compared to Chris? ...Rufus never would have had a chance. "He just didn't realize what he had man! That and a host needs his right-hand man!" ...Chef thing. For cookies. Hehehehhee.

Well, if Chris didn't want the Producers to see it, he'd better hustle over to the editing tent quickly and delete the footage, just in case they use it in their next board meeting. That is, unless the camp turned LiveStream on again. Then Chris was ********," Chef agreed, leaning on the table. It was any wonder that the table didn't creak or fall apart despite the fact that leaning on it caused it to sway and move a good three inches. Another inch more and Michael Jackson could press charges for it copying his trademarked lean-move from the Smooth Criminal music video.
"Heh heh! Got that right! No right-hand man, no cookies or extra advantages, y'know?"

And somewhere far away, in a shadowy boardroom of EVIL, it was sure that a couple shadowy jackasses were getting a good laugh...because someone had hit the LiveStream button.
Damnit.
"Exactly man! Rufus dude never understood that..." Chris paused, looking bothered. ... "But whatever, just means -I- was meant for the job."

The Producers believe that the proper word for this situation is PWNT, Mr. McLean. Heeheehee!
To that, even taking Chris' look into consideration, all Chef could do what shrug. "Ah dunno man. Ah jus' hang out 'ere in the kitchen an' cook. Most of the time, at least." He added, grinning. "'s been more lively with yew here, that's fer sure."

Oh -crap- ....
"Of course it has man, I'm awesome. Chris took the moment to practically -strut- around the kitchen. God damn he was just.....well there was no other word for it besides -awesome-. "So depth charges man, sound like a good idea?"

Chef chose not to comment on Chris' walk, instead snatched a cookie when Chris wasn't looking and ate it. HA! No witnesses, no effect. Besides, he made sure to scratch the first 'Ah' off the cookie so it wouldn't apply to him.
Cookie gone by the time Chris faced him again, Chef snickered and nodded. "Yeah man! I'm down for it."

Hrm...that plate of cookies looked different somehow. Chris eyed it for a moment, struggling to figure out what was off about it...
...Good thing for Chef he was horrible at math huh?
Shaking it off to go back to the better topic of EXPLOSIVES the host grinned at the other. Hellllll YES, now they were talking. "Hehehehehe, any interns in particular or just grab the first ones we see?"

The numbers were in Chef's favor. Then again, they better be -- Chef was not only the camp's cook, but he was responsible for finances too. And along with finances, Chef was also responsible for acquiring props for McLean's challenges.
Did he get a payraise for all of that? NO. >8(
Chef shrugged. "Ah can't think of any off th' top of mah head... dunno if we'll find any out'n'about." His gaze dropped, settling on the cookies before he grinned. "Wanna go trap some?"
