"Alright." Myst said. He cast a spell and Javier's skin glowed yellow for a second. "Now physical attacks won't hurt you much." he drew a sword from his cloak and walked about 20 feet away. "You can attack first."

Ryu's just beating up barberians one by one soon to be two by two then so on and so forth.

javier felt a slight tinge as he became resistant to physical attacks. He then reached back for his staff and held it out beside him horizantal and parralel to him.
He never really fancied hand-to-hand or melee but he knew a few things. He ran foreward and threw out a trip kick intending for Myst to be distracted by it while swinging his staff horizantally where Myst's side would be.

Ryu thought that's to easy to figure out he's planning to try and distract but it won't work against master fighters.

Myst jumped back just far enough to be out of the path of Javier's staff.

Javier continued through half expecting this. He lunged foreward pulling his staff back above his head preparing for a hard verical swing, leaving his middle exposed.

Myst punched Javier in the stomach, knocking him back a little.

Javier was winded from the punch, but it didn't seem to hurt. He flipped back and with one hand performed a back flip. He looked over at Ryu red eyes glaring.
"Thanks. I really LOVE contructive criticism!" he said going back in to attack Myst.
This time he went in with only his hands. He threw out several punches, most of which were parried.
He stepped back to catch his breath before trying again.
He then threw out a lound round house kick.

Myst grabbed Javier's foot out of the air and flipped him sideways onto his stomach.

"idiot think before you act if you don't in the arena you might meet my blade on accident." siad Ryu throwing the body in a pile.

Myst glares at Ryu, then casts a spell on him. his skin glows greyish white, and everything seems to speed up, except him. Myst runs over, grabs him, and holds a sword to his throat. "You seem to be in the fighting mood," Myst said coldly. "Would you care to test your skills against me?"

"sure. Sonic Boom" siad Ryu and he moved his hands at such a high speed that it would be hard to evade and if it was the aftershock wouldn't.

Myst easily dodged Ryu's slowed hand movments but was knocked down by the aftershock. He leapt back onto his feet and cast a spell; his skin glowed bright red temporarily. ((Haste spell))
