stareing at the roof she debaited, considering her options quietly as her mother slept. Andy had brought her to her home.. a diguessed crypt not far from the Latverious tomb. it was large enough on the inside, and the hidden basement was bigger still. turning on her side she studied her mother, watching her expressions change from fear to grief. nightmare.. she was learning that word.. mabye i can find someone to stop that dream.. her mind flashed to william and she stood, moveing away from her pallet to the stairs. his scent still strong in her mind, she closed the door firmly and started out. Andy wouldnt wake for a while.. the dreams dragged her down deep, with luck she could be back before she woke.

standing over the fresh grave, Asa slowly pulled his robe off and tossed it over the head stone. one of his nails sharpened into a claw and he lifted it to his right collar bone, a trail of blood fallowing his claw as he dragged it to his elbow. letting a few drops of blood fall on Shay's grave he picked his robe up with his unbloodied hand, his voice soft as he rumbled in egyptian. " my claim caused this to you, so my blood i offer to sooth your hate. rest in peace, Shay De La Vonti." he was cold.. chilled from the inside out as he let the wound on his arm heal into a scar, pulling his robe on after he wiped the blood away. with a last look at the grave he turned, trailing away from the grave yard silently.

entering through the gate just after Asa left, Kago's serpentine body slide past the bars without a sound.. her claws quiet as she moved through the tombs. finding a large tomb she lay across it, her head resting on a winged horses back as her tail curled around the small building. she still hurt, bits of glass and brick sticking from her skin like thorns.. and she couldnt seem to calm down to shift back. makeing an annoyed sound she sighed, her eyes narrowing so she could doze. her tail started flicking like a cats, the tuffet on the end sweeping the steps clean as she hummed quietly.

Seeing the beast not so far from himself, William made his way to the other. "Hi." He said simply, he was not quite eloquent with it, and it seemed to be stuttered for a mere moment. He had never seen such a creature.

lifting her head she studied him, eyes glinting with amusement. without warning she shook her head, sending glass splinters to the stone as she bared her teeth. it wasnt threatening.. just a warning. she still had glass above her right eye, it hurt.. and she couldnt pull it out with her talons. huffing she placed her head back on the statue, keeping a firm attention of William. he was male, therefor unthreatening.

Taking the baring teeth as an affront from her, William's look to a more serious baring within itself. He was not threatened by her, for he knew that she could pose no threat to him. His training had made him nearly infallible. Seeing the glass above her eye, and the shattered remains of what was once a window falling to the ground, William looked to her in questioning. "You ok?"

her teeth snapped together and she looked away, dread and ire clear in her dragonic features. she hurt, and she couldnt figure out how to shift back. but ask a male for help..? the idea had her nearly lashing her tail in denial. but she did need it out.. and she wanted her other form so the cuts would heal. sighing she tried to use telepithy, only to shift her weight in irritation. physical contact then.. pathetic.. all the same she stretched her neck out, touching her nose to his shoulder lightly. her tone, though entirely mental, held a wealth of restraint.. it was clear she didnt like asking for help. i cannot shift back, and this none melting ice hurts. i wont bite, just get it out. there was a pause, strain in her voice as she added curtly. please.

"Ok." He stepped forward, and gently pulled the shard from above her eye. He looked at it, and saw that it was quite deep. He frowned as he pulled a few other shards from her, and then stepped back once more. He saw a large shard that he couldn't pull from her in this form. Transforming quickly into his large bear form, he was nearly ten feet tall, and even with his enlarged features, he was still delicate as he pulled the last large shard from her. Stepping back once more. he settled down on all fours and watched.

relaxing visibly she rubbed her cheek on the ground, her scales makeing a quiet scratching sound as they met the stone. after a moment she took a breath and let herself shift, staggering backwards to lean against the horse statue. there were faint scratchs where the glass had been, and she traced them carfuly with a brooding expression.
studying the bear she nodded in thanks, not quiet able to voice it. she had been raised to seen men as lessers.. over the years she had learned better, but it didnt mean she had adapted completely. crossing her arms over her chest she narrowed her eyes, asking in a warry tone. " your name?"

"William. Yours?" He said this politely, still watching her closely. He was weary of her, she seemed a little hostile, and he wanted no trouble.

" That is none of--" cutting herself off she closed her eyes, takeing a breath before she shifted again. after a few moments she leaned back against the statue, her hand rubbing the scratchs again. " .. Kago. my name is Kago. i am.. sorry.. for my attitude, its been a long night." the fact she actualy appologized proved her words, along with her relaxing. as Amazon tradition called for she held her hand out tiredly, knowing her tribe would roll in their graves if they knew she was greeting a male this way. swallowing her pride she looked at him fully, saying honestly. " thank you, William.. i owe you."

studying him she frowned, pushing her hair over her shouler. the beads clicked quietly, soothing her. " ill repay the dept." she said it simply, her expression stubron. briskly she set her harley boot against the stone, laceing it then moveing to the next one with practiced movements. her tone gentled out though when she asked almost uncertainly. " i did not know bear shifters existed.. do you have a tribe?"

"No tribe, just family. I am of the Latverious Clan." He nodded, examining her expression, he was unsure of how to continue.
