 "I'm not a wolf," he murmured, kicking his hooves into the ground.
"I already told you I'd choke if I tried to eat you."
He paused, "You keep bringing it up though, do you want me to eat you? I can choke and die if you really want me to."

"Then stop licking me and... Chewing on my clothes!"
She eyed him, one eye squinting and the other wide, "Then just what are you?" she asked softly, turning her gaze to the ground whive her hooves pawed delicately at the dirt.

"Why? Are you interested in me?" He seemed to grin. It was not a wolf's grin.
"I'm..." The wings on his back flickered. "I'm Nightshade's Fury. I like to eat things, but I don't like to choke. That's me."

The pulled back slightly, "No. I most certainly am not." and this time she managed to sound completely frustrated.
"That is a who, not a what." she insisted. "If you insist on keeping me here I want to know what you are."

He seemed a bit disappointed. She was probably just lying. So he grinned before looking back at her.
"What do you mean, what am I? Can't you use your eyes, I'm just like you." He shot a glare at her, and kicked the dirt under his hooves again.

"You are not." she stated, ignoring his silly grin.
She lifted a dainty hoof and "pointed" at, first, his head, then his wings and finally his tail as she spoke. "I have never seen a pony with a muzzle and ears and wings and... A tail like that."
Letho placed her hoof back on the ground and stood tall, "And I go looking for peculiar ponies. It is not as if I would laugh at you, I am strange, too."

Strange indeed, he thought. "You look more like you should be on display than in the fields."
He wagged his tail lightly and tilted his muzzle. "Do they displease you?"

"I was." she began, thinking perhaps if she was nice enough he might show her the way home, "Once I was not a real pony. I was plastic; part of a carousel."
She shrugged as much as a pony can, "I am indifferent to your difference." she lied.

"Really?" He said in a melancholy manner, swaying his tail slowly as it brushed against her leg.
"Ah, that damned Seraphim," he said without thinking. "Do you miss it? Being what you were?"

Letho continued to ignore his contact but her eyes narrowed unconciously.
"I am rather fond of Seraphim. Quite thankful to him for giving me life." her voice became flat when she spoke, it was the truth. She could not remember being plastic- after all plastic has no memory, but she was certain she enjoyed her life, now.
At least when there weren't frightening things holding her hostage.

He growled without even meaning to at the mention of her saying she liked that... that... evil thing but she didn't like him!
"At least there's that," he said. It seemed it wasn't directed at her, but perhaps just out loud.

She flinched when he growled and unintentionally took a step back.
When Letho spoke her voice was absolutely dripping with sarcasm, "You'd think you'd be greatful for me creation, too."

"Oh, I am very grateful that that you're here with me, by any other means but his."
Just thinking about that winged fiend caused Nightshade's Fury's blood to boil. He trotted around Letho, much like a predator stalking its prey as he scanned over her. This cute flower, cute little tail, the ribbons that intended to choke him should he take a bite were all because of that fiend!

Letho rolled her eyes, but remained as still as she could while he circled her.
"Are you not happy for your life?" she dared to ask.
