"Yeah, sorry. Hayley got sick in the backseat." She sighed softly and started up the car, balancing her phone between her ear and shoulder.
"I had to go get changed and get her cleaned up." She started to drive over to the gas station.
Stephanie looked back at Hayley in the backseat, she was looking out the window, happy as ever.
"James. I don't think I can go on this trip," She started, before looking up and pulling into the station. She parked by the tank and got out, starting to fill her car up before she drove over to her parents house to drop off Hayley.
But even if she ended up not going on the small trip with James, she had to visit them.
"Hayley's been really sick lately.."

Move along, move along like I know you do.. "She has? Poor Hayley.." The light went green. "About the trip... Are you sure? She'll be in good hands." James rejoiced inside to see that he was finally there. "This trip is pointless with out you, love."
James circled the lot a few times until he found a reasonable spot to park.
I hope she doesn't change her mind..I hope she doesn't change her mind.. That one thought repeated over and over in his head.
He sat in the now-parked car quietly, awaiting her answer. ..And even when your hope is gone

"Yeah, she's throwing up a lot... And I know she will. I trust Lisa Marie and Ted but its just hard to leave her. Especially because she's begging me not to go,"
Stephanie got back in the car and sighed. "Where are you at? Can you meet me at my parents place?"
Stephanie drove down the street and parked at her parents duplex. "I'm already here," She knew that he knew where it was. They had been there a few times to drop off Hayley lately.
She got out of the car and opened the backdoor to get Hayley out.
"Mommy, I feel icky," "I know sweetie. Mommy has some medicine for you. I'll give it to you when we get inside."
Lisa Marie came running out to grab Hayley from her arms. "Hi baby!"
"Lisa, be careful.. She's sick still," She took the bag out of the car and handed it to Ted, who followed Lisa out.
She brought her attention back to her phone. "Sorry, where are you at again?"

Kaitlyn laughed with him, he had a cute laugh. She slid out of the car after him and took in what she saw. It was really nice, it looked like it cost a fortune. "Oh wow..." Now she was really really excited.
She walked up to Landon's side, and took a hold of his hand, he wouldn't be needing it, it seemed someone was getting their things for them. This was like a piece of heaven, Landon only made it complete. "This place is beautiful..." She said just as a host came out. "Follow me and I will escort you to your room" Flashing a smile up at Landon, she started to pull him along, eager to get to their room to start this get away, very eager.
"Come on.. Your so slow... I'm going to beat you there... Goodness..." She was teasing him, maybe she should tease him harder, to get him going a little faster. "If we don't get there we can't do anything, and I will just refuse to do anything if you take forever." That has to cause some reaction in him, if it doesn't, well then she would have to think of something else after she gotten over the shock.

 Landon Joshua Kaiser****************************************Landon also ended up looking around the second he was out of the car. Wow was right. The place was huge and very elaborately elegant. Again, he was surprised they had been able to do something like this, it just seemed odd. Shouldn't something like this cost 1000's of more dollars then they had!?
But it certainly wasn't going to complain.
Katy took his hand, and he squeezed hers a little, glancing down at her with a bit of a grin. "In a place like this, how could we not have fun?" he remarked, but then she was pulling him.
He laughed again, "Alright, alright, let's go!" he conceded, speeding up considerably, so that he was almost passing her at a swift walk, courtesy of his longer legs. Well, not that he had her too much on that one. Shorter she was, but she had fine legs. And body, and face... She really was beautiful, with a personality to match.
"Well let's hurry then, what's taking you so long?" he teased, actually starting to jog a little playfully.****************************************   As soon as forever is through

Move along, move along like I know you do.. "I'm already at the resort-thingy..." James was ready to get out of there at any moment, he wanted to see Steph more than anything right now. "Um...Yeah, I'll be right there."
James switched the gears and backed out of his parking spot. There was crazy traffic but he'd take a short-cut. Once out of the parking lot he headed in the direction of Stephanie's parents' duplex.
About 15 minutes later, he parked outside and stepped out of the car. James hung up his phone and walked up to Hayley, Stephanie and her parents, "Hello everyone!"

Oh, this was going to be great, just him and her. Now only did she feel like they haven't ever gotten to spend time together, and that there was always something going on. She gasped at him, dropping her jaw dramatically. How dare he say that to her.
She giggled, speeding up with him, then with a launch, attached herself to his back. "Come on... Giddy up" She laughed again, wrapping her legs around his waist, and her arms around his neck. She didn't want to fall off, even if he didn't hold her, she could stay there for a moment. Hopefully he helped her stay on.
She rested her head on his shoulder, and looked over at him, giving him a peck on the cheek. "Your hair smells and looks good today.... Compliments were always nice, but it was true. He looked dressed to impress more then any other day. He was happy about this weekend too. She knew it.

Lisa was running into the house and Stephanie hung up the phone, tossing it back into the car. "Ted, can I have something to get the puke smell out of my car?" She knew that there was no point in her trying to tell James not to come, by the sounds of it, he was already on his way.
And to be honest, she wanted him to. And a few minutes later, she was coming outside with Ted, with cleanser in her hand and he was carrying some other products.
Yeah, they were trying to grow up, but having problems still. And that was okay. "Hi babe," She opened the back door and beant over to clean it up.
"Ted, can I talk to James alone?" She smiled back at him. Her birth father set the stuff down and went back inside, giving James a nod before doing so. His hippy length, blonde hair waving in the wind.
Stephanie was cleaning as she spoke. "I don't think its a good idea I go James.." She trailed off, repeating herself. "But I know my parents are going to insist," She sighed, scrubbing the car. "So if we take your car, and just leave mine, it'd be better. Since Hayley threw up in mine."

Landon Joshua Kaiser****************************************Oh her expression was priceless as Landon glanced back. If only he had the camera out at that moment, because of course, he had thought to bring one. No one would believe how amazing this place was without some picture proof either.
Yeah, Landon was going places, by the look of it, but that didn't mean he had much money now. He had a decent job, but it was part time, and therefore, didn't do much more then pay the bills, a little into savings, and then just a little left over for fun stuff. This usually didn't fall into the category of normal fun stuff he could normally afford.
But more importantly, was their time here together.
And just when he had looked back ahead of him he suddenly had an extra wait attaching itself to his back. He leaned forward only a little before he adjusted to this addition, laughing as he did so.
"Alright, you asked for it!" he said, putting his hands out to hold onto her thighs as he actually started to jog with her on his back.
"Oh really, well, I could say the same thing, but I think I've been focusing on your lips more then your hair, I'll admit it" he teased, but was serious too, kinda. Actually, he had noticed all of her, and he liked what he saw, as always.
They were coming to the end of the drive, right up to the first elaborate building an he slowed down a little, not sure what to do from there.**************************************** As soon as forever is through

"Whoo hoo! She was playing it up a little bit, but it was kinda fun chilling on his back while he carried her there. But then she 'hmmd' as he said he could say the same. Was he going to say it wasn't nice? Oh, her lips.
"Well then. I accept the compliment. And so do my lips" She grinned pressing her lips to his cheek. It made her blushing thinking about how he was looking at her lips. Make her wonder what else he was looking at. She couldn't keep her eyes off of him, so he couldn't take his eyes off of her. It was really nice to think about.
He was slowing down, and they were almost there. Well, the people took their luggage to their room most likely, wherever that it. At the end of the drive was the same man as before, waiting for them. He held out a letter with a simple smile "Your room key and number is inside, please enjoy your stay"
Since Landon's hands here full of her legs, she reached out and took it. Letting him look at it too. Seemed easy enough, there was a map to get there, and no stairs were needed, that was good, she wasn't ready to get off.

Move along, move along like I know you do.. James nodded back at Ted, then turned to Stephanie "Here, Let me help.." He knelt beside her and started to scrub the car as well. "Anyways, yeah. Taking my car would work." James glanced at where the puke landed.
Hopefully it doesn't stain. But if it does, It'll give me an exscuse to buy her a new car...
"That should do it" He smiled and stood, heading for her luggage.
James grabbed it and walked over to his car, putting it in the trunk along with his. Then he walked back over to Stephanie. "Ready?"

Stephanie started to protest about him helping. But she stopped, there really was no point. She scrubbed a bit more, but it wasn't doing a whole lot.
James stopped, to grab her luggage. She picked up the bottles and rags and looked at him. "God, you're amazing you know that?" She would be back to her normal fun loving self soon, she was just stressed at the moment. "One sec," She ran back inside and tossed the stuff in the cabinet and went to hug and shower her daughter with kisses.
"I love you," She smiled and started out the door. "Just call if you need anything okay guys? I'm not too far away and can be back here in a minute flat." She still had Hayley.
"Steph?" "Oh right," Reluctantly, she handed her off and left the house slowly before running over to her boyfriend.
"Okay. Lets get the heck outta here," She smiled and got into the passengers seat of the car.
It was just one night away, Hayley would be fine. As long as she kept her cell phone by her.
Little did she know, that could be a problem. Since she had left it in her car.

Move along, move along like I know you do.. James climbed into the drivers seat and nodded "Of course, boss." He winked and put the key in the ignition, turned it and started to drive towards the resort-thingy."Vacation.. Here we come!
About fifteen minutes later..
James carefully parked his car , un-did his seatbelt and got out of the car. He walked over to Stephanie's side and opened her door for her.
"Finally here. It looks pretty nice, eh?" He went over to trunk and opened it, once again grabbing both of their luggages. James paused for a moment to look at the hotel. Ahh.. This will be awesome.
