Lily smiled. Here was certainly someone to help her feel less conspicuous; he was already crounched down and collecting her things whilst talking at a thousand miles an hour. She bent down to help him.
"My name's Lily," she answered, gathering several bright jewelled necklaces and throwing them into the open suitcase. "It's good to know I'm not the only one who's a little eager sometimes. If only I could travel without bringing half my life with me, this might have been a bit easier," she added wistfully, tossing a few cracked jars of shimmering powder into the case. "I thought it might make me feel more at home, you see..."
Senri? That's a nice name. Come to think of it, so is Marta. Marta... I wonder; is that the name of the office lady? Maybe he's been here a while.
"Sorry, but - who's Marta?" asked Lily politely, gazing inquisitively at her new friend.

Sarah stepped out of the elevator and towards her room. 'Room 2, Room 2' After a minute of fiddling with the door to get it open, she was finally inside. She sighed as she laid on the bed closest to the door. She pulled out her notebook and pen and started to draw random lines. After a minute a picture formed on the paper. Suddenly a suitcase popped off of the paper. With a smiled Sarah opened the bag and pulled out her clothes, putting them up in the closet. After unpacking she placed the suitcase under the bed and started out the door. Just as she reached it she turned back to the bed and grabbed her notebook and pen before walking out of the dorms to where everyone else was hanging out. She headed to an empty tree and sat under it, starting to draw random things. A couple of times she drew a bird that popped off the page and flew up into the tree.
Alex finally decided to go down the elevator. Eventually he ended up in the office, got his room key and was back up at the dorms. He didn't have much stuff so it wasn't long before he was back out where everyone else was with nothing to do. He walked slowly, moving his hands around in different shapes, water forming into shapes as his hands moved.

Therunaway nearly jumped out of his skin at the haunting voice. He quickly turned just in time to see a girl heading towards a staircase. Internally several emotions fought in a brutal war. Anxiety grappled with homesickness as loneliness did the mental equivalent of smashing a chair over gratitude's head. And nearly all of the emotions were bowled over by fear, however in the end curiosity won out.
Floating after her as fast as he could, he caught up with her and extended a hand.
"Hi. I'm Therunaway. I'm new here. Thank you for helping me Ms....?"
((Don't you love a good metaphorical war?))

((Absolutely! And very well done it was, too. I wish I could stress how much I fell in love with that paragraph...))
Oh, it's coming over.
The young girl revolved slowly on the spot to face the pitiful addressee. He was thanking her, and she hated it. She could practically feel the gratitude and fear oozing out of him.
Therunaway. How nauseous. And what's this?...
She looked down. Contempt rose inside her as she realised that the hand it held out towards her was offered in the spirit of politeness. For a moment, she toyed with the idea of giving his mind something to really be afraid of...
But no. Here was a weakling, a small, insignificant puff of smoke, and she would not waste her time.
The girl raised her head once more, and stared darkly at the mask now floating in front of her.
"Address me as Maelioyx, if you must at all," she said, in a supreme tone of unconcern, and without waiting for an answer, she turned once again and began to ascend to the dorm floor.

If you see a stranger...Senri smiled even more broadly, if that was even possible. "Lily's a nice name." He nodded when she mentioned bringing half her life with her. "It does make you feel more at home when you bring all your stuff with you, but it's really heavy!" He giggled lightly. Clearly he wasn't yet at the age where he worried about being manly, nor would he ever be. It was a good point about him. It could also be a low point, depending on if you wanted him as a friend or someone to share romantic interest in. He was too childish for the second one, anyway.
"Oh, Marta? Marta's..." Senri stopped to think. She wasn't his sister or mother, and he wasn't really sure if they were friends. He liked to think of her as a friend, but sometimes she was very cold to him, such as when he was being frighteningly optimistic. Someone I travel with seemed a little too cold-shouldered, as did This person I know. Eventually, he decided on one. "She's like...my traveling companion. Sort of. I've come to think of her as my older sister. She helps me and stuff, and in return, she smacks me around. Sibling-like." He nodded. Marta did smack him around a bit, but never anything bad, the way a normal sibling would. They'd push each other around, throw a few badly-aimed punches, and, in all senses, act like a brother and sister would. They weren't really siblings, but it seemed like they were all too often. People commonly mistook them as siblings, even though they looked nothing alike. It was just a strange mystery of the universe.
Senri shook himself out of his not-so-deep thoughts and collected up the last few books and papers, and handed them to her to arrange in her bag as she liked. He then picked up one of her loose feathers from the ground and stood up. "This is from your wings, right? It's really pretty." ...Follow him.

"That..." Sinaxe said, as the young demonoid ran off once more, after spooking him enough that he nearly instinctively went demon form, "Was annoying. Now, let's see, we're here, right at the edge and... Give me a second here."
He stepped away from her, holding his hands before him, and with a horrendous ripping noise, wings burst from his back, his toes lengthened as he grew taller. His tail slipped out from his back, teeth lengthening, his skin turning crimson. It became quite apparant why his clothing was in tatters, as his transformation finished, a horn bursting from each temple.
He let out a mad laugh as he turned to Seisai, grinning, pointed teeth showing as he towered over the girl, spreading a wing over her, "Follow me."

"Well you see, i was several short, shallow breaths away from death, when out of nowhere an angel appears and says I can either die and never make anything of my life, or I can become an angel and be enrolled in this school, he explained with a sigh. "I agreed to the latter, however I refused to take the angelic transformation, 'cause personally, I like my human body. Now that it's disease free, I can fully use it to its full extent, he added. Then he laughed a bit because the whole thing sounded rather silly.
"I only have one concern with this place," he said suddenly, straightening up, no longer laughing. "Is the grub here any good? 'Cause I could really use some good food, since the last time I ate anything was through an intravenous tube." After saying this, he took his arms out of his "bike-pack," laid the thing on the ground and sat down, suddenly realizing his stomach was hurting because he was so freaking hungry.

((okay gonna update stuff biggrin ))
"Well..." Chi thought for a while with what Orion said. "I think so. Haven't tasted it yet, but then they would make what you want to eat." she said with a grin. She thought of how the canteen would look like; she hasn't seen it, even if she was already there when the school was built. Maybe I could suggest it... she thought, that would be made in a minute or so. Then, she turned to Orion and asked, "So you like to eat something right now?" she thought of her question, did I say that right?
"Whoa." Seisai watched Sinaxe transform to a real demon. Heck, he wants to go to the light! That's surprising. she thought to herself. Then the demon spread a wing over her and said to her to follow him. Seisai just nodded and did what she was told. "You're okay with this?" she asked Sinaxe, still confused that a demon could go to the light and not get hurt. At least, that was her experience.
((also, mcm0nk thanks for saying the things about food, i forgot about the canteen xP ))

Anduril walked into Terra High with his Ocarina in his hand. When he saw Senri and Lily he walked over, curious about who they were."Hello," he said to them.

"Yes. I know most demon's have trouble with walking in light, but I spent so much time wandering on Terra Firma that I became... Accustomed," The crimson demon spoke as he walked slowly beside Seisai into Olympus, careful to keep one wing spread over her, the soft pad of his taloned feet sounding somewhat off, considering his size.
He smiled down at her, row of sharp teeth shining, "Plus, I'm a gargoyle. Gargoyles can turn to stone and we generally spend ton's o' time out an' about."
He glanced about Olympus, looking for anyone who might be 'Chi', his long, whip-like tail swishing slowly through the air behind him. His yellow-streaked, blue eyes narrowed as he looked about. He may be able to stay in light just fine, but too much of it still bothered his eyes a little.

((Your pictures of Senri are so beautiful! ^^ ))
"Oh, Marta? Marta's..."
Gathering the last few beads that had fallen out of a tiny oaken box, Lily gazed patiently at Senri. He seemed to be having trouble deciding upon something.
"She's like... My traveling companion. Sort of."
"Oh, I see."
Lily smiled again. She didn't really understand; her life had had been so closeted and sheltered, she had very little understanding of how the world below her worked. It never occured to her that there might have been something they were travelling from.
"Yes, I've got an older brother, too," she answered absentmindedly, taking the last stack of objects from Senri's hands and placing them neatly in the very top of the suitcase. "He's already been assigned. He's over a thousand years old now, you see. It's his job to fly over the desert and guide travellers, lead them to trees when they need shade, an oasis when they need refreshment, that sort of thing. I don't see him very often... Oh."
Lily felt her immaculate smile slip from her face ever so slightly. Immersing herself in an explanation about her brother, she had barely registered Senri stooping to the ground and picking up one of her malted feathers.
"It's really pretty."
"Thank you. Still, I reckon they'd be prettier if they stayed on me," she sighed. Losing her wings was a subject that always made Lily feel a little sad; it was a mystery no-one could understand, least of all her. Living her entire life in perpetual light and happiness, she just couldn't bring herself to imagine why something that wasn't good could actually happen to her, and she wasn't quite sure how she could explain it to Senri, or indeed the many other people who would have questions. As she thought about this, it suddenly occured to her that there was something equally strange about her new comrades' wings. They were black.
A shadow of a frown crossed Lily's face.
Smile, Lily, smile.
She snapped her friendly grin back into place so quickly it was a little alarming.
"Well, you can keep that one if you like. I've got plenty more!" Picking up her three suitcases, Lily pressed the button to the elevator again, and beamed as it slid majestically to the ground without so much as a bump.
"Finally!" She turned to face Senri. "I can't wait to get rid of these things..."
She broke off as she saw a young man striding towards them. He had a serious expression, and his wings looked exceptionally large and beautiful. Lily's eyes widened.
Well, they certainly aren't shy in this place...
"Hello."
Oh, I do hope none of my feathers fall out now. Those wings are almost as big as Senri.
"Hello," she smiled, still grasping the suitcases with both hands. "Are you new here too?"

Lily smiled.
"My name is Lily Evangeline," she replied, tugging the suitcases into the waiting elevator. "And this is Senri, he was just helping me clear my things up..."
With a monumental effort, she heaved the suitcases into the back of the lift and beamed at her two companions.
"I'd love to chat, but I absolutely must get rid of this baggage first - my arms might just fall off if I don't," said Lily happily. With one slender finger, she firmly pressed the button for the dorm floor, and a single feather floated to the floor as she did so. She pretended not to notice.
"Would you like to come?"
