Laveneder ButterBalls Up for debate.Quote: The biggest reason as to why people don't want homosexuals to marry is because the bible condemns it; therefore, anything the bible condemns God condemns and people of faith usually don't want to go against God's word. A lot of people I've seen over the last few years will go to Church and listen to the clergy preach the bible and its word. As of late I've been seeing a lot more condemn the acts of homosexuality, in turn, the people believe it and the people follow it. The people will then use what they hear in the sermon because they believe that everything he says is right. Ultimately, this leads to the unacceptance of homosexuality. However, it seems like not many people actually know why it's wrong and why God has condemned it. Not many people seem to know any quotes from the bible that condemn it other than the heavily popularized Leviticus 18:22 quote. Let's review what that quote says, as written in the bible, and maybe some interpretations of it. Leviticus 18:22: "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination." ok, Leviticus 18:22 says "Do not practice homosexuality; it is a detestale sin." The last time I saw it, it said differently.

Laveneder ButterBalls Pauperes Spiritu ButterBalls Well, there you go. Everyone's going to hell, if one exists. You really don't know what our religion is about. We don't believe that if you sin you're automatically going to hell. Well, first of all, I'll answer your above post later. Secondly, I don't really think it's me that's confused about your religion. I think it's you guys yourselves that are confused about it or aren't coming to an agreement. I hear clerics saying you'll automatically go to hell and I hear that you have to earn it and I hear all these things about it. Ok, we don't belive that if you sin you automatically go to hell. If you confess you sins to God and put full trust and give you life to him and live through him then you will be saved. Jesus died so we could live. I'm so not feelin' in the mood to be "considerate" of of people's religions. First of all, I don't really think half of you people know what you believe which is one of the exact reasons of why you go to church and why you're always seeking reason. You guys are constantly looking it seems.
While you're constantly looking you're also way too damned sure of yourself. For one, it kind of amazes me that people know what God thinks sin is especially considering that if God existed I think he or she would have a much larger brain capacity than us. Secondly, everything on this flippin' Earth needs proof but everyone's willing to just "believe" that it does exist, why? That really just pisses me off even though I know why.
Thirdly, I don't give a s**t what Jesus did. Seriously, I don't. If I were to actually theorize about what he was and what happened it would make more sense to me that the Virgin Mary was ho or she just had trouble fertalizing at first. Jesus just happened to be a carpenter. He was probably just someone that was really smart for his time like Socrates and Plato. He would probably be considered a lunatic in our world today. People that proclaim their the Son of god or they talked to Jesus go to the looney bin. Crucifictions happened all the time back then if I remembered correctly. If I remember correctly again people especially clergy would get very pissed if you didn't conform to their ideals or would mock it. Case and point.
Saved from what?

'Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.' I definantly see an emphasis on the 'is'. I'm an a*****e, and I approve this message.
