I agree, but stereotypes mean a lot of different things to a lot of different people.
Sadly, I think I fit into the stereotypical Jew with my hair and eye color- dark. But fortunately for me, I don't have a big nose!

And other stereotypes in general, but mostly appearances.

Lumanny the Space Jew It's just, there IS a stereotype of appearance. It's not just about an air of knowledge and pride for one's religion. This is a discussion on what "looks Jewish," not what the ideal Jew should strive to accomplish in being identified by their love of Judaism. See Lumanny, no one actually looks Jewish. Nor should it be encouraged that there is a certain "look" to being Jewish. Lots of folks in here are converting, we're trying to welcome them in, not to try to make them feel unaccomplished for not looking the part.

Some people do 'look Jewish,' that just has no relevance regarding anything. Many gentiles look Jewish, like my dad as I said, and many Jews don't look Jewish, like myself.

What you mean is "While many people associate a certain look with Jews-- that look being an Eastern European appearance-- I acknowledge the fact that such a 'Jew look' is impossible due to its requiring of a common genetic inheritance. I understand that there is no Jewish look, but wish to discuss the association between appearance and Judaism, despite its lack of logic or reason."

Eh, more like, "Though it has no relevance whatsoever to being Jewish, the Eastern-European look is the Jewish look, though only by popular stereotype; People who look Jewish often aren't Jewish, and people who are Jewish often don't look Jewish. It does not matter in any way. t's good conversation on psychology."
