Before the time of the rock village, before the time of ninja even, lived the Yagi Clan. They were a simple people, surviving in the mountains and cliffs of the rock country all on their own. The used the fur of the mountain goats as clothing, and their horns as the pointed tips of their spears for more hunting. It was becuase of this relationship between themselves and the Mountain Goats that the became known as the Yagi Clan (Mountain Goat People). It was through out these primitive years that the people simply began to adept to the mountain. They grew very muscular from the lean meats of the Mountain Goats and the constant climbing. They grew acustom to cold climate and constant harsh, powerful winds. They essentially really took it upon themselves to become Mountain Goat People. It was only upon the creation of ninja that they began to addapt once more, this time in order to keep up with the growing popularity of ninjutsu. By taking advantage of their climate they developed powerful mountain based techniques and were able to keep themselves safe from enemies and out of the midst of the great ninja wars taking place. Not until the creation of the earth village did they eventually join themselves with the rest of the population of earth country dwellers, and since have been a popular clan amoungst the earth village. It was during the void wars, however, that they were thought to have dissappeared. It was no until recently that they have begun to re-appear amongst the earth village from where abouts that remain unknown.

Yagi Clan Jutsu:



Name: Yagi Horun no Jutsu (Goat Horn Technique)

A common jutsu amoung the youngsters of the Yagi Clan, it is used to create horns upon the top of a clansman's head. These horns are no longer the a foot in length, but are as sharp as kunai knives at their tips. This is a simple technique, just allowing the user to take a goat like appearence, somewhat, and also add a deadly weapon to their body for them to take use of in lose range and if they could not otherwise use their hands to attack. In other words, a well aimed head butt could make the difference between life and death.

Using their muscular build that the Yagi adapted from the Mountain Goats and years of living in the mountain sides; The Yagi Clan member will suddenly send a busrt of chakra through out their body before almost an instintaneous tackle of both great speed and power. In other words it is a taijutsu based technique involving great natural ability to produce a rather powerful technique capable of winding and harming even the most physically built opponents.

Goats naturally have a very deep 'roar'. This 'roar' was then mimicked by this clan to then become a technique capable of using infersound: sound that travels through the air and the area itself (ground), to strike the opponents and scramble their brain to then scramble all senses for a single minute (1 Post).


Name: Doton Hiru Souken no Jutsu (Earth Hill Creation Technique)

Using their affinity for doton, the Yagi Clan Member can create an entire hill, almost a mountain really, for them to take use of. The hill/mountain is as large as a five story building and just as rugged as normal mountain terrain. Seeing as how the Yagi are at home when in a mountainous terrain the user of this jutsu is then put at a huge advantage due to their knowledge of mountain terrain, like for instance if a certain part of the mountain was unstable and such. They can also use their mountain based jutsu, too.


Name: Doton Suraido no Jutsu (Earth Slide Technique)

The technique utalizes the mountain terrain the Yagi Clan lived within, and was one of the major techniques the Clan used to defend themselves from attacks. By forming the correct handsigns they could cause an earth based landslide composed of mud, rocks, boulderes, or of earth in general. The effects can be devistated when keeping in mind the Yagi's natural knack for earth jutsu that increases their strength by an entire chakra rank.

This was considered the ultimate technique amoungst the Yagi, it was also considered dangerous to the user, too. You see, by taking use of the technique the user could literally create an earthquake that would move mountains it was so devistating. Fissures would crack through the earth and down the mountain, entire chunks of mountains would tumble downward causing landslides and devistation. It was said that the technique could literally drop mountains dozens of feet.

Ogi Clan
The Ogi Clan was once ridiculed as the premature rejects of the Senju Clan, the ones that had failed to fully mature into the Mokuton ability and could only take use of plants instead. Naturally the clan became desperate to reclaim itself, and thus agreed to a deal Orochimaru proposed when confronted by the sannin. So the Ogi Clan became one of the more prominent clans of the sound village since the time of its construction by Orochimaru. Before his time the clan simply resided in the Rice Field Country, but after joining with Orochimaru, similar to the Fuma Clan, they had a similar result: the near death of the clan entirely. They were once the favorite experiments of Orochimaru, though he had many favorite experiments, and it was through the experiments upon them that the legendary sannin was able to obtain valuable chemicals and unique plant life to base his less then normal medical treatment upon. It seemed that the clan had died out, leaving it's final member as Zetsu. Zetsu, however, was an abomination with in the clan, just like the experiments of the late Orochimaru. Now, though, after the void wars and the coming of this new time the clan seems to have appeared once more. Though, they wont be making the same mistakes as their past clansmen, and in doing so have broadened there horizons by expanding over many different villages through out this new world.

Name: Koujou Akkei no Jutsu (Plant Trick Technique)

Commonly used amongst the genin of the Ogi Clan, this jutsu emphasizes the Ogi's natural knack for plant manipulation. Simply by commanding a plant with the mind, the Ogi can make small vines and plants react by tossing kunai, wrapping around opponents legs, and all other sorts of rather mediocre uses, too. Like the name suggest, it is a simple trick involving plant manipulation.


Name: Kamisori Kusaki no Jutus (Razor Plants Technique)

Again, a common technique used amongst genin, though also very useful for stronger members of the clan, this technique turns all vegetation and plant life razor sharp and practically impassible in such climates where there is dense plant life. Because of the jutsu's ability to create such razor sharp plant life, the jutsu is great for getaways. However, the main use of the jutsu is offensive because of the Ogi Clan Members ability to then manipulate the razor sharp plants like weapons.

This technique was created in order for a clan member to create vegetation when there is no natural plant life around. The user must simply preform the correct handsigns and plant life will erupt in a twenty square meter vicinity as a genin, thirty square meter vicinity as chuunin, and up to forty square meters at jounin level.

Using their affinity for plants, the Ogi Clan can use this technique to send vines, thorns, and other plants erupting from their body similar to the way Mokuton Users can turn their body into Mokuton. This technique's use does not end there, however, as it also grants them the ability to merge with plant life and travel, too. The merging, though, can only be used a max of three times per battle before exhausting the user. The simple plant creation from the user's body can be used many different times till chakra exhaustion, though.


Name: Koujou Hitoya no Jutsu (Plant Prison Technique)

By preforming the necessary handsigns, the user can cause dense vines to suddenly erupt from beneath the surface of the ground an opponent is standing upon. These vines are as thick as tree trunks, and will instantly coil around an opponent while growing small vines off the larger ones in order to entangle the opponent further to prevent handsign formation and any form of escape.

First, by forming the correct handsigns, the user will create many different miniature flowers through out the dense plantation they will have created or already had around them. These flowers will then release large amounts of either pollen or poison. The poison is rather self explanatory, as it is airborne and can infect a person simply by them making contact with the poison, which is visible only as small particles in the air, much like pollen. After which time the opponent will have no longer then eight minutes (8 Posts) before their lungs collapse and they die. The pollen based effect of this jutsu is different though, as instead of poison the flowers release mass amounts of pollen. This pollen will thicken the air and by forming a single handsign the Ogi Clan member will cause all the pollen to close in on the target, suffocating them with the large mass of pollen all at once.


Name: Gyousei Hae Kansei Shinrin no Jutsu (Venus Fly Trap Forest Technique)

It is said that the development of this technique occurred in order to win back the pride and glory of this forgotten and ridiculed clan, and that it was supposed rival even the Mokuton users' 'dense forest technique'. To initiate the technique the user would begin by forming the correct handsigns to create an entire forest of Venus flytraps. These plants are capable of swallowing a ninja whole, then immediately coating them in a numbing liquid that leaves them immobile, thus victimizing them as lunch for these carnivorous plants. The Venus fly traps can also be manipulated by the Ogi Clan member, too, and lunge at the opponent as well, in order to make killing them swifter.
