Ok, I copied this from my journal.
I went to see the Crue last Friday, the 7th. It was amazing. whee
It was cool how when my friend and I were at the hotel, we'd keep meeting up with people who'd be all "You're goin' to the show eh?!" and "CRUE CRUE CRUE!!" You'd could totally tell who was going judging from the way they were dresseg, hehe.
So anyways, we got there 7:30-ish and I bought a shirt and a program. We found our seats and it was awesome how there were these people everywhere shouting lyrics and "MOTLEY ******** CRUE!" and s**t. It was weird though, there were so many empty seats, so we moved up a few to get closer. But anyways, it was awesome to be around all these psychotic Crueheads we could (somewhat) relate to. xD
And anyways, the show finally started 8:30-ish when that Mighty Mike guy ran out and that song by System of a Down that's all circus-y started playing, and the 3 acrobat chicks came out of the big box on stage, and then the curtain rose, and there they were, Motley Crue in all their ******** glory! They all looked great.
They started out with Shout at the Devil, one of the greatest songs of all time, and I can't remember in which order all the songs were played...it was mostly stuff from the Greatest Hits album.
Vince kept driving the crowd completely ******** ballistic...well except for a big part of the right side, they were like sitting on their asses the whole time. O-o He kept telling em to shout but everyone else was like 10x louder, so he kept saying they sucked... rolleyes He went on to say that it's not the big cities like Vancouver and Seattle and LA that were the best, it was small ones like Prince George that were the most awesome, because the audiences in smaller places were the craziest...or something like that, I can't really rememeber. >.>
Anyways, halfway through the show, Nikki did the whole introduction thing, and I was so happy because they had the camera so I could see em up close on the big screens...were were a bit far from stage. Nikki was like "Hey, you drunk-a** ********!!" and went on about how the day before, he walked through this town and all he saw were pawn shops and bars. "You guys sure like to ********' drink! Bunch of alcoholic ********!!" xD We were all like, "Hell yeah!"
Tommy didn't drum though, because of his tendonitis. it kinda sucked, necause I was really looking forward to his drum solo...he wouldn've been RIGHT in front of us. sad There was this blonde guy named Will Hunt who replaced him, and Tommy said "How many chicks here wanna give this guy a blow job?!" Of couse we all went psycho. xD But all I could think was how I swear I heard at least 20 guys... ninja
After the intros, Tommy pulled out the titty cam, and about 3 or 4 chicks flashed it. I would've, but it was mostly pointed at the floor. Then he walked over to the right side and said, "I heard Vince say you guys kinda suck...well, here's your chance to redeem yourselves!" and pointed it at this preppie-looking chick with her boyfriend...He was like "Coma on! Your boyfriend won't mind!!" even though they both obviously didn't want her to, and then the guy fingered Tommy, so Tommy pulled down his pants and was like "Suck my d**k!!" and then mooned them! I kinda didn't really see his like, nether region though...dammit.
Oh, and Tommy, Nikki and Vince rode choppers during the start of Girls. 3nodding
And yeah, the last song they did was Anarchy in the UK, as an encore. They stopped so everyone was like "Crue, Crue, Crue!!" until they came back out and yeah, they rocked. After the show this guy told me I looked like Nikki Sixx and took my picture. xD And, that concert was one of the best nights of mah life. 3nodding heart
