As soon as Derek saw the human's first eye, he let out a loud hiss and jumped a little way forward. As soon as he did he ran off to another room to leave the human alone and freaked out.

Lance started a bit, then he chuckled. "Wow...kind of a lame prank..." he said, laughing. It was SO amateurish, and it cracked him up. This was all someone's idea of a joke!

Wow...dense human. Derek shook his head and walked back into the other room. "No screaming in terror of the vampire? You mortals losing your fear?" He had walked up to the human and looked him up. Wouldn't be much of a drink, but I can still bite him to induce fear. He crossed his arms and rolled his eyes. "So, what brings a human here anyway? Curiosity?"

"Ah, yes. I see what you mean." Derek looks at the human's face and noticed how he was looking at him for the first time. He doesn't believe I'm a vampire! Interesting... "You don't believe that I am a vampire, do you?" Oh, how wrong the human was. Proving that he was would be interesting.

He's not leaving until he is scared! Way before the human reached the door, Derek had ran to it. He locked it and stood in front of the handle. His arms were crossed and he had a smug look on his face. "So, what do I have to do to make you believe me?"

"umm....unlock the door and go jump of the roof and light yourself on fire." he siad, sounding absolutely serious. One it would get him away from the door, and two it would be funny to see.

Derek sighed and rolled his eyes. In a tone that matched the seriousness exactly he says, "I can't do that. Well...the first two I could, but being on fire hurts like hell. Here, I'll show you my strength." He pushed the human so hard that he slid across the floor all the way back to the gory painting and hit the wall with a satisfactory "thud". "Believe me now?"

"Um...not really. I'm not that sturdy...." he said, shrugging. He stepped forward and rubbed his shoulders. They were going to be so sore in the morning.

Derek rolled his eyes at the human. "Fine. Let's give you wedgie from the chandelier." He ran behind him and grabbed the back of his underwear. He drags the human up some stairs and jumps off the ledge to land on the chandelier, which was a good twenty feet away. Once there, he put the underwear on a curved piece and hopped down. "How about now?"

"I'm thinking you owe me some underwear..." he said. THere was an audible rip and he fell down to the floor. He brushed himself off as he stood himself up. "Anyhting else?" h asekd, wanting to get this over with.

"You have got to be kidding me..." Derek racked his brain, trying to figure out a way to make the human believe him. "Wait right here." He pulled up his hood again and went outside. He came back inside with a rather large branch in his hand. "Here." He shoves the heavy branch into the human's arms. The door was left open. "Throw that branch through the door and hit that tree."
((Yes, I'm a funny guy and I do things that are rather silly. XD Anyway, he should fail miserably with the branch thing.))
