Captain Pala read through the sensor data that had been transmitted by the Assault Shuttle Bludgeon. A full sector group arrayed for battle, and they'd surely be coming. She glanced out the viewport for a moment before stepping to the comm desk. "Set for fleet wide transmission, I want everyone to here me."

"Yes Captain. You're on."

"Pilots, crewmen, officers of Task Force Resolve. I've just been informed by our assault shuttle of the force the Empire has sent in pursuit of us. You know it quite well, we were once a member of it. Sector Group 742 is on our tail with every ship they can muster. It seems Admiral Matare himself is out here to find and destroy us. The Sinmara was spotted just as we withdrew."

"Complicating matters, an infiltraitor has placed a holocomm transmitter somewhere aboard. This transmitter allowed the empire to track us through the jump. That transmitter must be found and disabled or we'll never get rid of this pursuing dog. Find it, search everywhere, or soon we'll just be plasma blowing on the solar wind."

The shuttle touched down with a clank and Ranlee pulled on her helmet. She pulled open the hatch and led the dazed pilot down the ramp. "You okay buddy?"

"I'll be alright, did the captain say we're evacuating the Delight?"

"Yeah, you gonna help?" Ranlee asked.

"I'll grab a Stormtrooper Transport and get as many as I can. I used to fly em before I transferred here. They only let humans fly the fighters on my old boat." The pilot hobbled down the deck heading for the parked transports.

"Well that's one thing taken care of." Ranlee told herself as she took off at a dead trot to the turbolift cluster. She'd head to the bow and help with the search.

Baret reclined leisurely back on the wall above his coat, alarms going off throughout the ship, but he generally didn't care. He'd come to terms with his predicament sometime earlier in the week, between an acute paranoia of death and the dread of forced labor camps. "This....", he told himself "...was basically rock bottom." He'd be imprisoned for most of his remaining life. That was that, maybe he could get off on good behavior, most likely not, or maybe he'd get off easy with not being sent to a labor camp.

But now, things had changed quite quickly. Something about an Admiral being arrested, and the stormtroopers trying to stage a mutiny. Now, apparently they were on the run. Now he might be killed if they don't make it and this ship gets blasted apart. He didn't particularly like being made into space dust, not really. But there was also the slim chance of the opportunity of a relatively free life once more., that is after he paid off his debts for losing an entire cargo. That could take awhile, if they didn't just kill him instead.

No-matter how he looked at it, this ship was a haven compared to anything hat may occur in the relatively near future. It even had pretty good food, and he was given use of the gym every other day, abet under the watch of two stormies. But, there were no stormies anymore. "Damn," he thought,",no more gym hours I guess." Oh well, maybe he'll get lucky and they'll cuff him to a treadmill.

Diana didn't waste any time. The moment the access ramp was down, she ordered her units to move out, and they made their way into the Resolve's hallways, splitting up into their search groups.

The thoughts of where it could be raced through her head, as well as the idea of another mutiny. Hopefully, it was just a single person being incredibly stupid. They didn't need to go through any more than what they already did.

Now down in the Hyperdrive engine, Hal was staring at the now patched hole in the core.
The intercooler system would have to be replaced and new coolant would need to be pumped in. But there was no time for that now.
"Alrecht. Pipe water intae it an' keep th' patches techt until we gie tae a safe place." He told the astromechs and human techs.
On the comn, he called up to the bridge.
"Engine room tae brig. The hyperdrife needs majur maintenance tae th' coolant systems. Ah woods advise against onie sudden ur successife jumps ur th' drife will melt."
Looking to his Ex-O he gave an order. "Hae th' scannin' sent tae th' baw fur foo sweeps. hae other damage control teams scan fur nonauthorized transmissions ur frequencies."

Once out in realspace, Xaver was none too happy to hear that the ship was still giving away it's position. So much for a break. Sighing, the Falleen shook his head. "Heard that, Three?" He asked his wingman.

"I heard ya One. Better ask Command if they want us in or out."

Agreeing, Xaver switched to the command frequency. "Mynock Leader to Command. Want us to just chill until the baddies show up again, or do you want us to load up?" He paused. "Also, did anyone pick up Mynock Two? I saw him jettison in the fight, but that was it."

Mynock Two slid into the pilot's seat of the Delta-class DX-9 Stormtrooper Transport and went through preflight. As he finished preflight he heard his flight lead across the comm line.

Slightly irritated he tapped the comm system. "Damn it lead, I'm alive. They've got me flying a Delta to pull the crew off the Mantell Delight."

"Mynock Squadron hold patrol pattern. Mynock two and Bludgeon you're clear for launch. Pick up our comrades." Control's calm voice flowed across his ears as he watched the Assault Shuttle fly out the mag shielding and plunge down toward the Carrack Cruiser below.

Triggering the Repulsorlifts he vectored the Delta-class through the mag shielding and turned on the Carrack his eyes searching for an open docking port.

Harper shifted around boxes as quickly as he could, looking with determination for the transmitter. "Fire Team Two to Petty Officer Endoran," a woman's voice over the comm said, "no sign of the transmitter in Block B Crew Quarters."

"Acknowledged," he responded. "Move on to dry storage." The cold was starting to get to him. Though the armor managed to keep him warm, it was only so long that he could tolerate the low temperatures. "I vote they rename Consumable Storage to Freeze-Your-a**-Off Room," he mumbled.

Ranlee stalked through the hall with her helmet on and tuned to detect EM radiation, she turned a corner and suddenly the display flashed as she stepped into the crew mess and turned a blinding white color, closing her eyes she switched the hud over to normal scan move.

Blinking away tears from the blast of light she turned to the center of the room and suddenly understood. Sitting on a table in the center of the mess was long box, the carrying case for a scanning crew's gear, and the scanners had emitted enough EM radiation to temporarily blind her sensors, and thus blinding her.

"You find anything?"

"Not so far." One tech answered from the table.

"Well keep looking." Ranlee answered as she turned and stepped back out into the corridor, "I'm going to check the Tractor Beam station."

The Assault Shuttle grappled onto the port-side docking port on the Mantell Delight and as the hatch opened Lieutenant Lasken waved the evacuees in. "Quick as you can, plenty of room I can take almost two hundred if you don't mind a little crowding. Come on, quick as you can. We've got other transports coming."

"Bludgeon Report?"

Lieutenant Jan Lasken flicked on his comm-link. "We're loading up now. It'll probably take five trips to get the crew off, maybe less with that Stormtrooper Transport helping."

"How long?"

"Ten minutes, maybe a little more." Jan Lasken answered confidently. "We'll get em all before the Sinmara shows its face."

Jubilee landed hard on her side, letting our a slightly audible groan as she rolled over. She and the rest of the galley crewmen had been combing every corner of of the mess hall, kitchens for the transmitter, and now she was searching one of the many freezers when she had slipped and fallen."So much for bloody traction," she mumbled as she sat up at looked down to see want had bee the reason for her tumble, only to find an overly frozen nerf steak some paces away. Groaning he pulled herself up and kicked it over to the door.

Taking out her commlink, she radioed her other crewmen who were currently searching the kitchens ."Anything yet?" she called.

"Um, no ma'am, what exactly is it supposed to look like? Would it be disguised?" They answered back, quite distraught.

Thinking for a minute on this, she looked at the viscous Nerf steak that had tried to kill her only moments before, and sighed. Were they really becoming that paranoid? Radioing them back,"Just have someone from engineering run a sweep through the kitchen with a scanner," she said, stalking over to the evil piece of meat and picking it up with two delicate fingers, shoving the door to the freezer open with her shoulder. Dropping the refuse into a waste recipitical, she hurried over to a sink to wash her hands thoroughly. Turning around, she leaned against the corner to meet the blank stares of three junior crewman."What?"

Several parts and equipment were set aside as Diana's group searched through various stored items in a supply room, removing anything that might block scans, and just to be thorough by visually confirming anything as well. " See anything? " Diana asked, her own searching turning up nothing. " Nothing, ma'am. "

In a few moments, her comm came alive. " We found something, ma'am. It looks like... Kriff, nevermind. False alarm. It's not what we're looking for. " The frustration was growing. Several times, a possible find surfaced, only to almost immediately be declared negative after a closer look.

Standing up, Diana walked over to the doorway, looking down the halls to see other people conducting their searches. She slammed an armored fist into the side of the doorway. " Where the kriff is that thing? " She turned back to her group, quickly regaining her composure. " Alright, looks like this room's clear. Let's move on. "

In the Hyperdrive Chamber, Hal was getting reports back on the bug sweep.
The Officer's Mess, Crew Mess, Officer's Lounge, Crew Lounge, and Consumables storage had all been sweeped clean.
That left Liquid Cargo Storage, Dry Cargo Storage, Pursuit Tractor Beam Stations and the Trench Mounted Weaponry stations. The Auxilary Generator was ruled out due to the heavy tech traffic that was going through there. Someone would have noticed it.
Meanwhile, time was running out. A sector fleet would be on their asses soon and with an overheated hyperdrive, there was only so far they could run.
The measures had gotten desperate enough to start pumping water from liquid storage to help cool the drives.
Giving a sigh, the chief mechanic continued to order and assist his troops in trying to stabilize the drive.

Ranlee walked through dozens of corridors as the search continued. She'd gone through the Tractor Beam Stations and Trench Gun Stations with a couple of others from the Platoon. All that was left was the Liquid and Dry Cargo Storage areas.

"Lieutenant, the guns and tractors are clear. Where should we meet up?"

* * *

Lieutenant Jan Lasken set the shuttle down and watched the last of the crew of the Mantell Delight, overhead a quad set of TIE Fighters, Delight Flight as they'd called themselves in the earlier battle were grappled into the racks, barely fitting amongst the lines of fighters already parked.

"Control the Delight is empty. The crew set a scuttling charge and it'll take out the ship in about two minutes." Across the way Lasken saw the pilot of the Stormtrooper transport that helped evacuate the crew clamber out of his ship. "We can leave now, right?"

" If I was a spy... " Diana mused, thinking of what she thought a clever spy would do for a spot.

After receiving a comm from Ranlee, she paused for a moment. " I have a sneaking suspicion it may be disguised as a monitioring terminal for coolant or something similar. We'll meet up in the general liquid storage area and resume the search there, starting with any monitoring systems around such systems. "

At least to her, it made sense. Among various hardware like scrap, equipment, and things like that would be the logical place to look, but if it was set out in a more blatant area, it might be passed off as part of another system, making it likely to be passed by without being noticed as more than what it was made out to appear as.

There wasn't time for second-guessing, however. Diana gave the order to the rest of the platoon to meet up at the designated location, hoping her instinct was right.

((Right area, wrong supposition.))

Private Vala Nell tapped her helmet as a slight whisper appeared upon her display. She turned her head toward it and stopped, there was nothing there. The display said it was five meters below her feet and too the left, but in that direction there was nothing but a metal tank of water large enough to hold some twenty billion liters. "Engineering? Are there any electronics in Water Tank Alpha?"

"Negative. What, have you found something?"

"Maybe, standbye." She walked slowly alongside the tank until she saw the maintenance hatch. Checking the seal to ensure it wasn't filled to the brim she unlocked it and pulled it open. As she leaned into the tank she attached a light to her E-11 Carbine and held it in front of her.

There some five meters below, submerged in the water was a plain steel colored box, about the size of a datapad set, and according to her EM sensors it was transmitting em radiation. "Lieutenant, I think I found something."

* * *

"Captain! multiple contacts emerging from hyperspace! They're here."

Captain Pala frowned as she watched the rear tactical display fill with hostile contacts. "Well then its time to go, Helm maximum power. Lets get as far from them as we can before we jump. Engineering, how far can we jump with the hyperdrive in the shape it is?"

(( I wouldn't have thought you could hide something like that IN the stuff. Either it'd be rendered useless once submerged, or not even fit in the 1st place. Seriously, that's a bit nuts, IMO. Oh well, at least I was right about the area. ))

" Disable it and stay there. I'm coming to you. " Diana said. She ordered her group to follow her, and they made their way down to where the other trooper was. " What have you found? " Diana asked, approaching the Private.
