Cherie let him nudge her a bit but said nothing. She stayed quiet for a few moments before finally finding the guts to look him in the eyes. "No, you were right. Its your family and you can do as you please."

Jalil looked at her for a moment, taking a ragged breath inside as he gently came up behind her laid his head against her shoulder. "Cherie..." He said in a soft manner. "...How would... you like to call them your family too?" He swallowed a bit after saying this, scared about how she might take the question and him putting himself out there like that.

Cherie blinked for a moment and lost her breath. She was in shock. Had he just asked her to be his mate? After what they had been through, had he finally guessed the one thing on her mind? "Jalil... I... I..." she began, choking on her tears. "I would love to if you would have me!"

He was a little surprised that she had taken to the question so enthusiastically, but giving a quick nod, he smiled and gently nuzzled her cheek, "Yes, if you would have me?"

Cherie bit her lip trying to stop her tears. She hated crying. It made her feel so weak. "Of course I would love to have you." she said as she nudged his chin with her nose.

She let out a sigh of relief and let her head fall on his shoulder. "I'm glad because I feel the same. Even if you have a daughter, or a demon inside you." she said. "I don't need some psychic to help me calm this inner demon because you do it for me." she smirked as she licked his ear.

He couldn't help but smile a bit, instantly licking her cheek. "Than I should ask you properly.. Cherie.." He took a deep look into her eyes, "Would you do me the honor of being my mate and someday carrying my children?" He hoped her answer would be yes. Of course, she had said yes to being his mate in a round about way, but she had said nothing about a family with him outside of the one he already had.

Cherie was happy. For once in her life she was happy. "Yes, I could dream of nothing better!" she whispered in his ear, accepting his proposal. She wanted a family with Jalil, little demons and all. Besides, she couldn't think of life without him.

Jalil couldn't help but give a wide smile, holding the lioness tight to his chest. "Than I am yours Milady, for as long as you would have me." He whispered into her ears, letting himself give a light purr as he could want nothing more.
