Very true.
In a really odd way, I think it was sweet that Rosto "took care of them".
Or at least I think he did. I honestly can't remember what happened about that.

He took care of them but no one could prove it and he mentioned that they had had the gall to attack her in his territory so he had to do something about that or he wouldn't be seen as a Rogue to be taken seriously.

Wait; which rushers are we speaking of; the ones in Corus or Port Cayann? I think they both got what was coming to them. 3nodding
But I really liked when Beka left the child thieves with the villagers. Reminds me of a law one country had waaaay back when; if you killed someone intentionally, you got handed over to the family. Ouch.

I swear, if they don't get together, I'm going to stop reading Tamora Pierce books. (For about a month.)
She already did this s**t to me with Dom. She can not do this with Rosto.

The end of the Kel books worked for Kel but that will not work for Beka. Besides she's going to do another book or 2 about Kel when she gets a Squire so we can all hope for that. But not if she does it to Beka and Rosto as it would take her many years to come back to this time I'm sure.

Haha, when you said you had to give up George and Dom to get Rosto, it sounded like you were talking about trading Pokemon Cards (Or YuGiOh Card, Baseball Cards, or whatever floats your boat).
No one tried to take Neal or Cleon from me, I was/am happy.

That's true, but at the same time... it would be so stressful; having to always watch what one says because, basically, they are on different sides.
But then again, Rosto actually cares for his people. If something truely horrendous was happening, he would be helping Beka catch the criminal...
