I wrote a Rurouni Kenshin fanfiction. It's AU (alternate universe) so some things are changed, but Kenshin and Kaoru are the main characters. Kenshin is closer to his Battousai self than hs rurouni self. Here's a quick summary: "For King and Country" A kingdom falls little by little into the control of a malevolent sorcerer, the forces of resistance faltering. As the last of the King's Messengers, she has a duty to serve her sovereign. Fleeing her enemies in the course of those duties, she stumbles across a swordsman bound by a geas... a swordsman who might be able to turn the tide of the war in their favour. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3237820/1/

Yay, an advert thread! <3 Overture to Redemption - A Literate Rurouni Kenshin RPG Forum. Though currently closed due to inactivity, if you are interested in helping me start the site back up, please PM me here on Gaia. All characters except Kaoru are open. The time line is between the Kyoto Arc and the Jinchuu arc-- Kenshin, feeling the burden of his past sins, decides to take off once again, taking Sanosuke with him for Kaoru's peace of mind that he'll return. On the way, he runs into Soujiro, who's own redemption is a lot harder than he originally thought. That's the plot so far, but if you have any ideas, please PM me here on Gaia. Xemnas has returned-- ah, I know what you're thinking. "That happens all the time!" but, with something more amusing to happen, okay? He was simply too evil for his own good and exploded. [/shotforstealingline] So, Organization XIII without he and Roxas was more like an Organization XI, how lame. Not only was the place nearly destroyed when they returned to life, it was cluttered.
