Ohh...was Drissy supposed to know the specifics? I thought all the Matrons kept it on the down-low and that the first house didn't really tell them much. If she was supposed to know, then we can just ignore what I wrote in my intro. Maybe she was so overcome with pride that she sorta forgot.
Haha maybe I'll just have her dodge the question or puff up the very little knowledge she has. ("We are to go to the surface in the name of our Goddess.") AHAHAHAHAH OR MAYBE SHE'LL BE LIKE..."I do not think my explanation would do the holy nature of this quest justice" or whatever to bluff for herself. Hmm.
Any preferences (or, you know...ways of having her not die in her third post?).

Yeah...I think she'll just take the fact that they're being sent to the surface and jazz it up and throw in some mumbo jumbo about the glory of Lolth.

OR...
I've seen Ulvira put things out there to throw others off-center and then watch as they scramble to react. I would so totally not be surprised if this was one of those moments. Perhaps it's a slight to your matron, who knows. We is crazy chicks, I wouldn't sweat it.

Quenthal "I assume your matron's did not inform you completely on the task set before you." She looked at each of the males as she spoke. "I am sure however, that Mistress Drisryna knows quite well of the event. Do you not?" Her voice held an infliction of reprimand to it as her eyes fell on the priestess. Actually I think Ulvira is taking a dig at you, not your matron. ^^ heart The way it hits me when I read it.... it doesn't feel like anything is wrong or badly interpreted... no bubbles no troubles. Of course, this is ALL my opinion. ><

I figured she just wanted to make Drisryna squirm to humble her a little. She's acting to big for her britches, and she always does. Or maybe Ulvira's sayin' that just for the lulz.
xD
It wouldn't surprise me...and I realize that my reaction to that was totally stupid. Sowwy if I talk too much.
I'm actually a big enough dork to be typing up a response right now, even though I'll wait until Veldrin posts to actually put it up.

That's what it sounded like to me, too. A little cockiness can be a good thing, but there's a place and time for everything...and an audience with the Queen probably isn't the best place for it. ninja
I also think that that was Inafay's cue, not mine...

Drisryna's just bein' herself. Don't be hatin', Veldrin.
And yeah...I apologize again for overreacting. Sometimes I'm just defensive of Drissy and doubtful of myself at the same time.
EDIT: Oh, was it? I thought you came next in the posting order, but mebby not?

Yes, but the order needn't be fixed...and I'm a little brain-drained too.
