Seeing that Keel was going to need some convincing Pie pipped in. "Maybe Keel could be uncover with those characters. Could give the guards an advantage."

Hearing Pie's words, she turned back to Keel. She hadn't intended on actively persuading potential recruits. She wanted this to be voluntary. However, this sounded like a solid plan.
"Smart thinking from Pieta over here. I could give you the resources to bust them, and you'd be helping keep them out of the pockets of innocent citizens. What do you say?"

Keel's eye blinked (turned on then off), showing his intrigue. "Hm. That does sound good, actually. ANd I enjoy dressing up, as you can tell... I'll still have to think about it, though.." He crossed his arms.
"Busting those scam artists would brighten my day, I know that."

"Stop by the station some time this week if you're interested. If not, I can always take a look into things myself, if it would be any help. The nice part of being new is that people still don't recognize me."
She knew this would change, of course, but she preferred a sense of community and the idea of people knowing who was protecting them than that of a tactical advantage.
"That being said, I was hoping for a bigger turnout tonight. This isn't just an occasion for me to meet the vampires. I barely know any of my own neighbors as it stands."

Pie nodded at the conversation and turned to Hayley, "Well, atleast I met someone who enjoys a good laugh. And I was looking forward to vampires." She frowned. The romantic side of Pie had been dreaming of this night.
Pie glanced around the room and then asked the group, "So what do you guys and girls want to do?"

"Heh, the night is still young. I'm sure we'll be able to meet our new friends eventually. Besides, at this point I'm mostly looking forward to meeting our gracious hostess. That and this so-called a*****e friend of yours." At this, she smirked.

Keel slid his staff out of it's strap, and fingered the blade. He cared a great deal for it, it seemed.
"a*****e? You mean Ash? I haven't seen him recently."

"I hope so." She said to herself, and a curious look filled Pie's eyes. "I don't know where PQ disappeared off to either."
She shook her head and laughed at Keel's response. "I didn't know his a**-ness was so well-known."

"Heh, I think that's the name I was given. I see his reputation exceeds just Pieta, then."
The admiration the man had for his scythe was noticeable, and Hayley couldn't help but identify. Leaving her knife tucked away behind her under her jacket was frustrating, but she knew how to keep her composure for the event. On a given day, she'd be fiddling with it just about non-stop, as he was with his blade of choice.

Keel gave a small laugh. "You forget I have a radio. And I also hear thigns, sometimes with these sensitive ears of mine."
It was true, that he has powerful "ears", however, he had sometimes turned up the intake, so he could eavesdrop. He did like his gossip, whether anyone knew or not.

"Good to know." She refrained from adding that this would be good in the field. She always thought in terms of military advantage, and she knew this wasn't exactly appropriate for most conversations. Even still, she had to consciously reign herself on a regular basis.
"If you don't mind my asking, I'm actually pretty curious as to whether you're an android or a cyborg. As it stand you're rather ambiguously humanoid."

"I have nothing organic in me." He tapped on his head. It made a slightly hollow metal sound, being filled with wiring and cuircuitry.
"All metal, save for my eye. But that's unimportant." He made another laughing sound.

Yet hold me against the light, do you see any bullets inside? Taking a deep breath, PQ looked down at Retro, who returned her expression with an enthusiastic bark. As soon as the gear-cranking pierced through the chamber, she knew she would be found. And it wasn't as if there was anything wrong with that. Where she was standing now made her look as if she was casually observing the event. But as soon as people saw her...questions. And she wasn't ready for them.
Quickly scooping Retro into her arms, she disappeared behind the secret door again, hopefully before anyone could see her. Edmund lifted his head up from his cup of tea, while Louie realized almost too late that he had started to pour the tea on the table, and not into the cup.
Laughing a little nervously, she gestured to the outside. "Nerves, ya know?
(I forgot I had class tomorrow morning! Fffffffffffff. Night guys!) You wouldn't find one if you magnified, because you got the wrong girl.

"I see. Forgive me, I'm just fascinated by technology as advanced as you are. I'm an amateur roboticist, and I still don't exactly comprehend how robots like you were created. It's just amazing."
She was gawking on the inside but was able to remain perfectly rational to exterior. She really was absolutely enthralled by advanced machinery.

((Night! I think I'm gonig to hit the hay.))
Pieta smiled, Hayley was like a kid in a candy store. "Excuse me guys, I'm going to go check out the dance floor." She swiftly waved and headed out to get her dancey dancey on.
