"Thank you" Ella smiled and placed the acorn in her tote. She was suprised that an hawk can turn into a crow. I think it's just plain rude to bring animals to class. And it's a distraction. Tsk Tsk Tsk But Ella still smiled.

Darten had been watching all of this he glanced irritated at the clock time seemed to have stalled all together. He had watched the squirrel and the hawk as well as the new girl and everyone introduced them selves. He finally got up from his desk and moved over to the door closing it. It wasn't time for class but he didn't much care if the door was open or not. He faced his class. "I might as well tell you how I am." He smiled softly and a marker floated in to the air and began writing on the white board that was behind his desk. "I am Darten Fallborn, I am going to be your teacher for the next few months, if you get out of my class alive You have my congrats. In this class we will be talking about demons magic strange beast and the normal sciences, both human and non human." The marker has written down a few other things on the board as he spoke.
Class rules
No use of any kind of magic during experiments,
No fire will be allowed in class at any time
No pets will be permitted on the teachers desk or on the teacher him self.
No running
All Fighting will be sent outside, and fighter will be pin face first in to the mud to suffocate, or until they are released by the headmaster.
No running in the class.
All late students will get a special "test"
Do not talk back to the teacher, your mouth will be sealed and then removed.
I have no office hours, do not bother me.

Darten gave Terran a nod and continued. "As some one pointed out, yes there are a lot more races then just demons, however they and the elven classes then to use the most magic and sciences. First off, I'll explain where I came from." He leaned on his desk again as the marker returned to its placement on the white board ledge. "As you might have guessed, I am human, with one little difference. I have a dragon soul lock inside my heart. There are quite a few humans in the human world that have them, little abnormalities in the genes created them. Most are harmless till provoked, mine how ever is corrupted. This means I have to remain very focused at all times ot keep it under control, so you won't see me laugh or cry, and if you do something will explode. If and when i get mad the same thing happens only worse. I've taking out whole building in one go." He paused watching the faces in his class room.

))Terran(("what about my race? Elementals, even minor ones should play a big role right?" He did not understand that over the years the superior elementals vanished from the annels of history. "My race I heard was here before elves, but they are noted more?"

(Edited)Alice eyes widened and she thought Hes a human?!?! no wonder he smelled so good Well I cant attack him he'll kill me. and read the rules her crow pr and nuzzled Alice kindly. alice whispered to Jinkurii Hush If I get caught I'll be in trouble.

Ella just nodded along being absolutely quiet. She didn't care what she was about to learn, she wants to learn something. Out of her tote, she got another notebook out, it was green but to her it was a white-gray color. Ella opened the cover and wrote down the rules for future reference. [Ella][Day]

"Terran, your race was here along before any elf, demon or creature, however more people just assume your kind part of the "earth" You are a tree after all and many people take them for granted. Elves where able to build cities first where your Kind doesn't and makes simple villages. Your sciences is that of nature not of chemicals and explosives." Darten explain as his eyes locked with Alice's a moment. For what ever reason it seemed he had read he thought and he grinned.
"I'm only half human now dear and I don't think I'd taste very good." He pressed his hands together and moved off his desk again.
"Now, First, where going to start with the basics of what sciences is. All things are composed of atoms, this includes magics and all living things. Magic atoms are different then the normal atoms that make up our world clothing and very bodies." He opened one of his desk drawers and pulled out a small white box.
"Magic atoms move much faster and are very unstable which is why anyone that uses magic of any kind can become exhausted." He removed the top from the box and held up a glowing green ball that began to float in his palm.
"This, is 1 gram of pure magic atom."

Alices eyes went to normal and she stared at the atom. alice thought in a shield around her mind so no one could read it mabye I'll have fun with reasing his mind in his sleep I'm so good at it mabey one of my sleep potions or cureses or spell Ah forget it I'll go with the curse thats more fun Jinkurrii shape shifted in a ferret and sat on Alice's lap.

Darten was watching Alice carefully, he noticed she had put up a mind shield but that didn't seem to annoy him at all. He held the ball up so the class could get a good look at it. "Now, can anyone tell me, what type of Magic this is?" He gave the orb a little spin sending the magic inside in to a tizzy of little shocks and zaps along the sides as if it where trying to get free. "I'll give you a hint, Its derived from a process of to molecules colliding in the air. It also tends to make a lot of nose when that accrues." The magic glinted in his face a moment and he pressed his fingers to stop the orbs spinning.

She was only four when she and her parents discovered she had them. But her young age and considering the fact that she could not yet control them caused her to have to move around frequently from school to school if she ever lost her temper or was too calm her powers would leesh out. So when her parents learned of the opporutunity of her attending this school they sent her asap without a single doubt in their silly little minds. Iri walked in silently and sat down quickly at the first desk she could get to fast enough. Cici looked up at Iri, she was hiding in Iri's purse, and meowed quietly. Iri looked down and shushed her then scratched her head and tried to pay attention to whatever the teacher was trying to explain before she had gotten there.[i]Great, I'm ********] she said in her mind...[i]I hope I don't come across any mind readers today I'm already exausted I don't think I can hold up a mind block...[/i] Iri thought as Cici hopped into her lap and layed there refusing to move.

Iri's eyebrows shot up. I had no idea about that....she said in her head.But on the other hand..I know what it feels like to be alone...and to have no one to go to when you're confused about yourself..and the world around you..no matter what race..I bet some of us could relate on that..Iri remained quiet on the outside but on the inside her mind was going crazy.

Darten had paused his eyes following the girl as she entered the room. ~Your late, but seeing as it the first day off class...i'll just make you a volunteer. ~ The man moved over ot her desk and set the glowing orb in her hands. "don't drop it, or you'll blow up the room." He flashed a rather wicked smile at her before looking at Terran. "No, your Race became a good part of the earth its self, from time to time you can find other beings around, you should know that."
