User ImageRodica flashed a thankful wolfie green at the nymph who had aided her with the vampires. She didn't have much time to thank her though, so she gave the girl a curt nod and continued on with the killing. Soon enough, only one rebel vampire was left.

Rodica moved around it in a circle, snarls escaping her throat as her lips twitched over her fangs as she bared her teeth. She snapped at the vampire, and it made an eerie hissing sound. Her red fur stood on end and she lunged at the rebel. It screeched and moved out of the way, grabbing Rodica's tail and throwing her quite a few feet into a tree.

A small yelp escaped Rodica's lips but she would not let this stop her. She swiftly recovered and lunged at the vampire again. This time, the rebel did not get away, for Rodica had faked it out by jumping one way and then jumping back the opposite way. The undead man screamed as Rodica quickly dismembered him. The vampire's arms were ripped off first, and then his legs. She growled and bit into his neck, spitting on the ground as she tasted it's blood.

Rodica snorted once the fumes from the vampire's blood hit her nostrils. It was such a strong and intoxicating scent that she just couldn't handle too much of it in one area. She scrunched her nose and nodded at the guards and the Princess before making her way towards the path she'd come. She stopped in front of the Captain of the Vampires and nodded at him as well; bowing almost.

Rodica rolled her eyes as she ran, for that little prideful part of her still hated having to succumb to the vampires. She ran until she came to the tree with the hole in it that contained her clothes. She glanced around before morphing back into a human. She was naked, but her long red hair nearly covered her bottom. A man passing by stared at her toned body with wide hungry eyes.

Rodica snarled at him, her eyes flashing bright green before returning to their honey colour once more. The man yelped and took off down the path as Rodica changed back into her clothing.

She then ran back to where the humans and guards were and where the Vampire Captain was. She ran slender fingers through her long lustrous hair and grinned. "Sorry if that got a bit brutal for you," she said lightly with a somewhat thick Romanian accent. Rodica glanced up at the captain with golden eyes, bowing slightly and moving near him. "I have received orders to accompany you on this trip and help make sure you're all safe," she said lightly, glancing around at everyone.

User Image {[I missed alot, again D: Just in case no-one knows or remembers, Lilith is a vampire ^.^]}
Lilith blushed, embarrassed that she was seen, and the tips of her black hair turned a light pink, as did her eyes. Turning around quickly, she walked quickly back to the castle, putting down her parasol once inside. She decided to leave her day-cloak on, and she lent against the wall, sighing softly. 'That, was embarrassing.' Feeling rather ashamed for not greeting or saying something to the prince and the werewolf, she walked quietly down the halls, not really sure on where she was going, her strapless dress rustled slightly as she walked, the black material hugging her slender but curvy body.
Animated voices snapped her out of her trance and she stopped; it was the royal family in their dining hall. She had meant to talk to them about her meeting the princess upon arrival, and whether a tour of the gardens would be appropriate. She was pleased when she first came here from Romania and they entrusted her with the job of Royal Messenger and Advisor. She even remembered taking the scroll to the human's kingdom with the reply from the Prince's mother about the whole marriage thing. Admittedly, she almost changed the reply, she had heard Prince Jerome's disgust by chance and felt sorry for him. Sighing slightly, she turned to walk away from the hall when she ran into a small column with a beautiful clay pot on top. With a gasp, she caught the column, but the pot smashed in half. Lilith's eyes turned the same shade of pink as before, and so did the tips of her hair. Blushing furiously, she picked up the pot, warming the broken halves with her pyromancy to fuse them back together. "Don't come out, don't come out..." She muttered, her accent thick.

Tsuzuki smiled warmly as the prince asked him to bring a seat over and sit next to him, "Yes sir." Tsuzuki, like a loyal dog, was obediant to the Prince. He always loved the prince, in the same way a dog loves his owner. Not saying Tsuzuki had the complete mentality of a dog, but that his relationship with the prince, was something like a dog-owner relationship. When Tsuzuki pulled a chair over next to the prince, and sat down next to him, he heard a crashing noise. He immeadiately stood and looked towards the door, since the noise came from outside towards the dining hall, where they just were. He then looked to Jerome and said, "Should I go check on that noise?" He didn't know if the prince was too concerned with the noise, so he didn't want to run off if Jerome preferred him not to.

Margarette smiled at her son, and placed a hand atop his head, ruffling his hair slightly, "You're such a good boy Toren. If only your brother were more like you." She gazed out the window and then back to Toren, as she continued, "I have heard rumors that she is a fine young woman, yes. Do I want this? Well...Yes...Yes I do. There are benefits for us to come, through this wedding...There are things that will come of this....Things that will surely help us all."

Margarette then smiled kindly at her son and said, "No need to worry about this though. I have everything worked out, so long as your brother can behave and do as I say." Her gaze quickly turned towards the door leading to the hall as she heard a crash. Something broke. Margarette then quickly walked past her son, her face turning serious, and professional. She opened the door and took a few steps out and saw Lilith, her loyal messenger and advisor."Lilith dear, are you alright?" she called out, with a friendly tone, as if she were her daughter.

User ImageJust as Lilith was placing the vase back where it belonged, she heard a voice and nearly dropped it again. "Oh, you Highness Margarette!" And she bowed a little, nervously smiling, her eyes and tips of her hair still a lurid, embarrassed pink. "So sorry if i disturbed you, i was walking past and heard heated talking... I thought something might be wrong and decided to leave when i... Uhh.." And she rubbed her neck, shrugging. Remembering what she was going to ask, her hair changed back to her usual black and her eyes returned to their clear blue. "Oh! I was going to ask something but if you're busy..." And she stole a look through the door; Prince Jerome's guard was standing, probably because of her; the prince himself looked relaxed but furious; and the other prince, Toren, looked completely pleased with himself, as if he had just won a fabulous prize. "I can come back later, if that's easier for you Madame?" Lilith's Romanian accent was charming and rather pleasant, and it easily carried in the quiet.

(( Actually, Prince Jerome stormed off and is no longer in the dining hall. sweatdrop ))

Margarette smiled and shook her head, "Nonsense, I'm not busy at all. What is it that you wanted to ask my dear woman? Ask away." Margarette was acting a bit friendlier than usual, as if she were drunk, or enjoying a great party, perhaps "High on Life". Either way there was something going on in her brain, some plan that was a sucess, or perhaps a cover for her true feelings. With the queen though, no one could be too sure of her feelings, and maybe even her mental health.

Margarette had become a lot less open about herself after her husband died, then again, not many would notice that, since before she didn't really talk to just anyone anyways. Margarette was an enigma that no one but her husband knew the layouts of. Perhaps she was depressed, perhaps she was insane, perhaps she was just fine, no one knew, and no one would ever know. That's how she liked it, and that's how it was.

Jerome looked at Tsuzuki as he rose quickly to the sound of crash. It sort of amused Jerome how Tsuzuki was like a little dog, with a higher IQ. His brown eyes remained fixed on the portrait. "If you wish, you may go to see what has become of the lower level."
He replied gravely. Jerome glanced out the window. He was hopeing the human princess would arrive soon, which was completely unlike him. Jerome was in the process of schemeing. Sure he knew he could change her, but where was the fun in that? Jerome stared at his fathers smooth complexion and admired it quite a lot. He ran a cool hand through his thick curly hair, but didn't go all the way through, as he slouched slightly and sighed. 'Everything is so hectic.. Especially with mother..'

Jerome thought drearyily. He couldn't figure out how his father could stand Margarette, it seemed crazy, almost impossible. But then again, Jerome used to truly have a lot of affection for his mother, until Toren was born. But then again, sibling rivalary was common. Jerome believed things wouldn't be so bad if Toren was such a suck up, or his mother choose Jerome's side every once in a while.

User Image {[Argh, really!? I just woke up lol >.< Sorry!! Forget all that in the post then!! My last post for now, off to work!]}
Nodding, Lilith smiled calmly. "I was just wondering if the request for me to show the... human princess around when she arrived was still current?" Her eyes briefly flicked to red as she said 'human.' Sighing, she thought she might as well come clean. "Madame Margarette, if i may be so bold... The thought of a human being inside the confines of the kingdom is... Well, are you absolutely sure this is right?" Lilith's confidence did not falter as she spoke, this was something that had been on her mind for a while. "I do not doubt your judgement Madame, but after my experience with humans, they are not trustworthy. I lost my family at the hands of them..." She sighed softly, feeling tired all of a sudden. Looking down at the ground, her hair faded slightly to a dark grey. She felt bad for speaking so boldly "I will be at the castle gates when the princess arrives. I am sorry to question her Highness and her obviously well-thought out wishes. I must go talk to the kitchen staff about dinner tonight Madame, please excuse me." And with a sweet curtsy and a smile, she excused herself. Walking towards the kitchens, she sat down on a staircase, her hair taking on a red tinge. Lilith felt guilt about questioning the Queen. "But should a parent really force someone to do something the other does not want?" She asked herself, her accent confused but charming, as she played with a tiny flame in the middle of her hand.

(( Tsuzuki is like Jerome's fan club. >.< ))

When Jerome said "if you wish" Tsuzuki calmly took his seat once more. Tsuzuki preferred not to leave Jerome's side. He didn't want to run into the queen, she usually asked things of him, and Tsuzuki didn't feel too opt to do as she said, not feeling the same dedication to her as he felt to Jerome, though if it weren't for her there would be no Jerome...What an awful thought...Life without Jerome, would be pointless. Tsuzuki then said quietly in response, "I think I'd rather stay here then." Tsuzuki looked to Jerome, and then to the portrait of his father. Tsuzuki was older than Jerome, but he never served his father. Once Tsuzuki was of an appropriate age, he was brought in to serve Jerome.Tsuzuki never really knew the King very well, nor the Queen, but he knew their personal guards, and how it was an honor to be brought in as a royal guard.

Margarette shook her head as Lilith walked off, "Does no one in this kingdom trust me?" She then headed back into the dining hall back to her son, Toren. She put a hand on his shoulder and asked, "Have I done anything bad for this kingdom yet? No. Have I made a mistake? No. I don't see what is wrong with this marriage, honestly. All kingdoms have arranged marriages, it's what's best for every kingdom. I can't have my son marry someone of impure blood. he must marry royalty, even though it is royal human blood." Though Margarette wasn't royalty before she married the King, or the prince, which is what he was when they were married. Still, she wanted the best for her son, and for her kingdom. Her plan, if it feel through correctly, would provide just that.

(( lol, no worries. Bye then. ))

//Lawl! Fan Clubs are the best!

Jerome was pleased that Tsuzuki decieded to stay with him. It was always pleasent to have company. "Well, I'm glad you would rather stay than leave."
Jerome wondered about a great deal of things at the moment. "I have to ask you something Tsuzuki.. And I want you to be sincerely honest with me."
Jerome paused for a minute, and glanced at his guard, removing his hand from his hair.
"Do you enjoy doing what you do? Like being ordered around by a bunch of rich pompous people?"

Jerome had just called himself a rich pompous person, but it truly didn't bother him one bit. He knew very well he was spoiled. But that didn't mean he was high up in the pride obsessed. Jerome let his eyes lock with Tsuzuki's, as he awaited an answer.

Tsuzuki looked into Jerome's eyes and paused, his expression was serious yet blank. Not quite knowing why the prince was asking this, and how he should answer it. Well, he should answer it honestly, as the prince requested. "I love my job, sir. I enjoy every moment of it," Tsuzuki told the prince as a smile appeared on his face. He was being honest, he loved his job, he enjoyed his job...He loved the prince, he enjoyed the prince. "Why do you ask, if I may ask?" Tsuzuki asked the prince, trying not to sound too bold, since he didn't truely have a right to question any of the prince's actions.

Jerome chuckled at the answer, and his question. Tsuzuki's answer kind of puzzled Jerome. "Now why is it that you love your job? If I were a guard, chances are I would loathe whoever it was that I was watching."
Jerome answered as honestly as he could. He did loathe a great many things, and watching someone else was mixed in with that. "I also just enjoy hearing someone elses' voice other than my own. I do seem a little insane talking to myself, or the portrait of my father, wouldn't you agree?"
Jerome asked, his eyes drifting towards the window. A cloud had covered the sun, which made Jerome feel slightly better.

He cleared his throat. Talking with someone else, instead of arguing was quite nice. Much better, and Jerome was quite content. "Are you excited about the wedding?"
Jerome asked, trying to keep the conversation flowing. He didn't mind silence, but he got enough every day seeeing as he and Margartte and Toren weren't on the same page.

"Why do I love my job? Well...I enjoy watching you, sir. I'd rather watch you than any one else, mind you. But, you're rather interesting, so I like to guard you, you're worth protecting," Tsuzuki told him with a gentle smile. "I don't think you're insane at all sir. I think you're perfectly sane, sir," Tsuzuki said in response to his questsion. As the prince asked about the wedding Tsuzuki shrugged and answered, "I'm not sure about my feelings toward this wedding. It sounds like a lot of trouble, plus, I'll probably be watching you less if you have a woman with you." Tsuzuki said that last comment with a laugh, trying to lighten the conversation, though he didn't think the prince would appreciate it, since he'd probably want to spend no time with the human he was to be wed to.

Jerome smiled back. It wasn't one of his fake smiles, that he usually put on at balls and what not either. "You can stop saying sir. I prefer Jerome if anything."
Jerome said politely, still looking at Tsuzuki. He chcukled at the sane or not response. "That's very nice to know. At least one person believes it."
The final comment caught Jerome off guard and made him do a double take. He frowned, but he knew it to be true. "Well, that's a shame. I wasn't planning to spend much time with her, but if you insist sir.."

Jerome chuckled. Even so, Margarette would probably force the two to chit-chat and talk walks regularly. But who knew. Maybe she would have a change of heart, or even croak. The second option was a tad saddening, but it was not likely going to happen. "Hm... I wonder what will become of Toren though.. Do you suppose you will become his guard?"
Jerome asked, curious to see what Tsuzuki thought of the idea of maybe having to guard Toren.

Kara was so confused and she knew all too well that she needed to hurry to the vampire's castle before anything else unexpected occured around her group.

"We need to get going," she told Baey, who nodded slowly with understanding.

~*~

Toren sighed and shook his head slowly. "My dear mother," he said almost sadly.

"You have done what is best for our people, I know. If only Jerome could understand! I know that Jerome will get over it eventually, mother." His voice was sure and steady. "You have to do the best for everyone at once, I understand. We can only bend so far, no?"

User Image{[Back! Worked sucked D< I'm sick of ice-cream and milkshakes and hot-dogs! Heh, watching old Disney movies ^.^ ]}
After a few minutes of silent thinking, Lilith stood up. She felt terribly guilty for saying what she had done to Margarette, so to try and ease her guilt and after realising she was sitting at the base of the Royal chamber stairs, she slowly made her way up. "I'll make it up to them, and then i'll find Madame herself and apologise." She said quietly as she walked up. If Lilith was meant to give the human princess a tour, then she would also show her a warm, well-lit bedroom. It was down the corridor from Jerome's as she was told by the servants and so she headed that way, not hearing the voices from Prince Jerome's room. She hummed to herself softly as she opened the Princess's door; an old lullaby her mother used to sing to her in Romania. She began to softly sing the words in Romanian, which translated into something similar to this:
Hush now, my baby
Be still love, don't cry
Sleep like you're rocked by the stream
Sleep and remember
My lullaby
And I'll be with you when you dream

Her enchanting voice carried well as she straightened up the bed clothes, made sure the candle holders were stocked and lit. She kept singing as she began to build a small pile of wood and coal to start a warm fire.
{[The rest of the lullaby is here; it's from Prince of Egypt ^^;; I love the song.]}
