Varnis had started to walk out of the medical area with a bandage wraped around his arm, with hs armor in his hands. He looked at the two, then over to Markis who seemed to be doing the same thing, just watching them.
As Erik had finished talking, the last woman in Larina's group had come crashing through the entrance as she had pushed Erik, and Sara out of her way using her magical ability. Crashing to the ground, she yelled at the two "Three men... After me, close the door!"
Markis got up from his chair, and ran to where the woman had crashed to the floor. He reconized the crest on her breastplate. It was Larina's crest, with an eagle flying over the crest. "Where's Larina?!"
Shortly after the woman had came in, the three men that where chasing her had reached the door. There was some ruckas out side as the two guards where handling them.

Erik flew into action, kicking one man in the groin while parrying an attack from another. The two guards had the third attacker cornered. Erik planned his attack. While one man was still clutching his groin in pain, Erik swung at the other attacker's leg, then quickly switched his blade to swing upwards, cutting off one attacker's arm. Seizing his chance, Erik sliced the head off of armless attacker, the stabbed groin hurt attacker through the heart.

Sara had started to draw her sword and help the man but had stopped. 'It's just two men, if he can't kill two theres no point to help him' She thought. She stood quickly though and moved outside to stop them if need be. But the man had dispatched them easily enough. "Well then a bit far fetched but believable." She allowed and moved to help the woman up. "Are we to go find this, Larina is it?" She asked Varnis and Markis. She figured by their sudden sense of urgency she was important.

The third attacker had fallen as quickly as Erik had taken out the other two.
Accepting Sara's help up, she looked at the people there. Her face said it all when Larina's name was mentioned. "That wont do us anything. She fell as she had finished the enemy commander."
Markis walked over to the wall as he had heard the news. Facing it a moment, he slammed his fist into the wall. "Erik!" Markis turned to face him. "What is his name, and where is his camp?"

"It's General Lente. His fort is somewhere northeast of here. This proves it. I guess the time of me living in the shadows is over. They knew I'd be here, but why would they send such a pitiful force?" Erik pondered for a moment. "Regardless, we must hurry and strike a killing blow to this General. He's getting paranoid, and if the fallen attackers don't come back with my head, he'll send more. We must get rid of the General and throw the Fire Nation's chain of command into turmoil."

After him? They where after some one else... Markis looked over at where Varnis was standing for a moment. Hes so full of himself... Calling Varnis over to him, he turned back to Erik. "I would offer to go my self, but..." He looked around him. "The village needs me to help them, Varnis will help you."
Varnis looked up at Markis, then over to Erik. "But... I'd rather stay here, and help the people." He replied in protest, but Markis seemed to ignore him.
"I need to get some thing from the back before you go." Markis said before heading off to the back before anyone else was able to say anything.

Sara looked at Markis. "Just wait a minute Markis, it could easily be a trap." She said. "We should kill the General I agree, but those three were meant to kill her before she reached us. Could we maybe take their uniforms?' She went on saying aloud what she was thinking.

In the back room some objects could be heard being moved around, then a loud slam. A barely audiable grunt of pain could be heard coming from the back room before another loud slam as if a box hitting the wall.
"That maybe so, it will also help sneak into their camp, but..." Looking over at Erik, he started to speak again. "From the way that Erik looks, I am pretty sure that they will spot you even if you all did wear their uniforms. I don't know Erik enough to completly trust him but, we can use the information he has to eliminate the threat." He said as he exited the back room holding a small cloth that was wrapped around something in his hands. It was about twice the size of a dollar coin. Shoving it into his pocket he looked about everyone.
"You three should rest up. Meet me tonight by the fire place, I wish to talk to you before you all leave. Also, don't worry about supplies, you can take what you need."

Erik was looting the now-fresh corpses. Normally, he believed in leaving the dead be, but Erik though that they might have something worthwhile. Erik then found what he was looking for: a piece of scrap paper, with a phrase written on it. Chaos brings hope...this must be some kind of password. "Who said I would be knocking on the front door? Lente's a moron. the fort he's currently in happens to have a subterranean entrance. We can sneak in, artfully place a single knife blade, and get out before they even know we're there. Also, just because they were sent to kill someone else doesn't mean they would kill me if they got the chance. I've caused them a few headaches, like killing off a couple of Captains." Erik sat down by the fireplace, having walked over. "With a little luck, we could have Lente dead by tonight, but we all need rest, a little recuperation." Erik was too busy talking to himself to notice anyone else. he had a habit of piecing together the puzzle while talking to himself loud enough for all to hear. "I guess killing off the fifth son of the Fire Nation's Emperor got there attention.Not that he was difficult, he believed in having a huge number of bodyguards while neglecting his own training in every way."

Sara nodded and moved off aways. She sat close to the fire, but well back into the shadows. "Seems being alone to long will cause some to talk to themselves." She said close behind Erik and she moved off again to the far side of the fire. She decided to take a nap, someone would wake her when they're ready.

Varnis had headed back to his hut before it became dark, and found a letter addressed to him tacked to the door. Pulling the letter off he looked around confused, it had nothing from who it was. Quickly, he entered the hut and closed the door behind him. Leaning his back against the door, he opened the envelope. Reaching inside he felt something metallic against his hand, and pulled out a chain attached to a small pendent. It had the crest of the fire nation on it. Almost dropping it, he quickly started to search the envelope for anything, but only found a small piece of paper.
"When you where born, you where taken from the fire nation by the Air nation forces. They know that you are strong, and can destroy all of them. They kidnapped you to protect themselves, and casted you away in this small village to hide you from us but we found where you lived. If you come and fight for us, we will spare this pitiful village.
Your real father awaits you."
The room started spinning, and the walls started closing in on him. Everything that he thought he knew about life was all a lie to him. His stomach twisted and turned. The pain was unbearable before he collapsed to the floor.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Markis had arrived at the fire place to see Sara sleeping by the fire place and Erik talking to himself. He shook his head, and then looked around to see Varnis, but didn't see him. It was late already, and didn't have the time to worry about where he was. Waking up Sara as he cleared his thought, he started to speak.
"From what Erik has told me, I have sent out a few scouts to try and make maps and collect information about the camp." He pulled out a few maps from a sack that he had next to him. "One of them was able to get a detailed map of the area, and information about the guard changes, and how many guards there are protecting the General and other information." He left the maps out, to let the two see them.
Varnis showed up after a few minutes. His face was slightly pale, but other than that, nothing really seemed to be wrong with him. Sitting down, he looked about at the other two, and was silent.
"Glad you could make it." Markis looked over to Erik. "Do you have any other information that these two can use that the scouts didn't get?"
Sara after woken up by Markis rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. She listened patiently and a bit nervous. When Varnis entered she saw he was a bit pale but didn't think much of it. Humans as she thought always changed their appearances for odd reasons, even to hide their identity. When the Markis asked Erik she moved over to Varnis. "Is it just because your nervous?" Sara whispered to him.
"hm? Ah, I apologize. My mind was elsewhere. yes, I do have information that the scouts couldn't get. You see, after I took care of the Emperor's fifth son, they created a new rank of solider: The Brigadier. Brigadiers are a unique type of soldier that is completely immune to any type of elemental power. Only magic that can kill instantly can effect them. Also, they have the power to dual wield two-handed weapons. The brigadiers are kept exclusively as guards for Generals and other very important people. I fought a brigadier once, nearly got cleaved in two. The best way to get to General Lente is to magically poison his food. Brigadiers are too valuable to waste, so they don't taste the General's food before he eats, instead, a rank and file solider tastes the food. If we could poison the food after it is declared safe to eat, the General dies. Also, the food is tested right after it is cooked. If we can poison it while the food is being taken to the General, we win. Simple as that. Problem: the chef transporting the food is escorted by two Brigadiers. But, there is a window of approximately 30 seconds between the food being tested for poison, and the Brigadiers showing up. Failing that, there is a window in Lente's room that points north. If an archer could sneak onto the North Wall and set up a shot through the window, we can get him that way. He only stands up just before he goes to bed, so the window of opportunity is even smaller then the poisoning strategy. Failing that, we could just use Earth power to throw the entire tower over, but let's try to be discreet.
Varnis was silent for a moment after Sara had spoken to him. Looking into the fire, he thought for a moment of what to say, but didn't really come up with anything. "Some what. Just that I have never been out of the village." He replied still looking into the fire.
"So, they 'created' guards called brigadiers, and you think that poisoning will be the best option?" Markis thought for a moment as he rubbed his chin. "But, to do that you will need to get close to the food, and from what you have said, they will be looking for you. I don't think that poisoning the food will be that easy to do. As for trying to topple the tower... That will be hard to do as that will require many people who can control earth type magic. I think that shooting an arro-... Poison tipped arrow will be the best, as you can shoot it from the top of a building, and I am guessing there will be less guards on top of the building." He looked at the map and how often the guards changed on the building that was north of the chamber. "There will only be 3 guards on the building, and only on that one building from what the spies have gathered. Besides, aim doesn't matter. Varnis can change the direction the arrow is moving even if it isn't a clear shot." He finished, and waited for what Erik's reply was.
Sara didn't like the plan. It hinged on quite a bit of hope and guess work. She looked at Varnis and let her question die. "Seems like a complicated plan. Complicated plans can go wrong in bigger ways." Sara mentioned. She shrugged and let it go, she would do whatever they decided.
