Zoey waved at her parents then grabbed Tezza's hand and the two girls moved to join the group forming around the girl with glasses. This was going to be so much fun!
Rinali grinned at that " mmm chocolate." she ruffled her feathers in anticipation although " you didn't have to stay with me you know." She didn't want the other woman missing out on fun just becuase she was interested in this event.
" You don't know that" Tal grumbled lightly "She might have been thrilled to have my expertise on her side"

"Naaah, I needed a bit of time to relax with you anyway." the tigress assured her lover, patting Rinali's arm. "I'm not much for treasure hunts anyway."
"This is Zoe, no no she wouldn't have. She's willful like that." Allen laughed and moved to kiss the man's cheek. "Anyway, I want to keep you with me."

"Yep." Czhichi giggled, kissing Rinali. "You certainly are. Anyway, I'm feeling lazy and want to relax and snuggle with you."
Allen snorted and gave Tal a quick hug. "Don't worry, baby, one day, we'll have a kid who'll sit and hang on your every word while you explain all about the interesting things you know." he assured his lover.

The woman blushed softly and hugged her lover tight "mm let's go do that then"
" I have students for that" Tal pointed out " and Pyran, when he visits" not that he was adverse to more children, just pointing out that he wasn't horridly desperate for someone to talk to.

Czhichi snorted and nodded. "Okay, babes."
"I know." he said softly, kissing Tal's cheek, "I just think you miss that part of parenting a bit since Zoe's more interested in doing a lot of things her own way. I know you aren't desperate." Allen assured his lover, fiddling lightly with his hair. "Anyway, let's go see about drinks and talking with Mendias."

Tal nodded and smiled ad he slid a hand aroudn allen's waist. Zoe was independent, not as much so as Tezza but certainly she didn't seem to need adults aroudn all the time. Though when she did want their attention she was rather insistent about getting it.

Allen grinned, leading his lover over to where drinks were served.
Meanwhile, Miss Medely was telling the kids how the treasure hunt was to work. The kids were to hunt in the surrounding area, using the little map bits they were given, to find treasure. Things they were not to touch - like poisonous plants (not that there really were any) were marked and they were allowed to take anything they found (including randomly dropped stuff or plants) provided there wasn't a fight over them.

Tezza and Zoe nodded as they listened to the instructions and kept their hands linked. Both girls had independent streaks but both also understood the value of teamwork. Once they were free to go they looked at the map for a moment picked an area to head towards and headed out giggling as they went

Miss Medely smiled, walking among the groups to see how they were doing. She wasn't really interfering so much as just keeping an eye and an ear out in case anyone was hurt or needed help. That was her general job in this sort of thing.

It was purely by accident that the girls stumbled across the egg. it was strange looking and rather large, not to mention the necklace with the skull that was draped onto it. " Issat treasure?" Tezza asked the older girl was it a craft someone had painted and placed there.
Zoe shrugged " I dunno" It certainly didn't look like a normal egg, what if it was though, would it;s mother be mad if they touched it and what kind of bird laid eggs like that?

Tezza nodded but pointed to the egg, her tiny ribbon bound wings tucked to her back at the moment " We found an egg, can we keep it?"
Zoe wasn't exactly sure how they were supposed to share an egg but then again it'd been Tezza who'd almost tripped over it so it was probably more her's than Zoe's." well it looks like an egg anyways" hard to tell for sure if it was or was just egg shaped.

The woman's brow furrowed for a moment. "Well, there are no birds in the area with that kind of eggs and I don't think anything would just lay an egg with a necklace. We didn't put it here as treasure, but yes you can have it. Just don't start a quarrel over who gets it or I'll have to confiscate it and make you compete for it later."

The two girls looked at each other and Zoe shrugged " You can have it, and I'll keep the next thing we find." It was really neat and interesting but Zoe didn't have a use for it, plus she could always see it when she visited Tezza.
The purple haired girl hugged her friend tight then gently scooped up the egg and cradeled it in her arms. This was probably the best treasure out there as far as she was concerned.
