jojo089 Just then Usher's Caught Up began playing as Yami grinned spinning out of Erik's grasp as she changed the bottom of her dress into dress pants "Hey Jacques show me what you got!" She smiled and folded his frock coat over her arm, "Go ahead Jacques, just don't cry too hard when you loose!" She kissed him on the cheek, "Just kidding, I hope you win!" He smiled and started off with some with some DDR style steps and spun around on his heels, then he pointed at Yami, "Your turn."

Arianna watched the dance-off with amuzement. She wanted to join, but she'd stay out of this one. She could tell there was some past rivalry going on. Instead, she simply enjoyed watching, wrapped in Skyler's arms.

Yami grinned as she started off with a jazz turn before wrapping her arms around herself and thrust forward into a six step downrock then jumped back to do a suicide "Come on Jacques I taught you better than just DDR steps!"

Spastic waffles Ari stopped dancing when she saw Alx, and noticed she was upset. "No, I'm sorry, I haven't seen him yet." She gave Alx a hug. "He'll show up." "I hope so" Alx sniffed. A tear trickled down her face.She walked over to some seating at the side and sat down and waited

Star was terribly late, she met peeves on her way and had to duel him. Luckily, her dress wasn't harmed. She ran all the way to the ball after her duel with peeves. Star looked around for Jason. She hoped Jason wouldn't be mad. She was at the top of the staircase. Her dress looked like this:

A little hankerchief(sp?) floated over to where Alx was sitting and wiped her tear. Jon stood in the middle of the dance floor in his best suit with his hand extended, keeping his eyes transfixed on the beauty that was Alx. "Care to dance?" He mouthed with a smile.

Ari was about to go comfort Alx when she saw Jon. She knew everything would be ok now. She smiled, everything seemed to be going right tonight. Suddenly, she spotted Star and waved, not breaking from Skyler's grasp. She wanted to go over and say hi, but when she noticed Jason making a beeline for her, she figured she'd let them be for a while. For now, she turned to Skyler. "Come on, I'm tired of standing around. Let's dance." She pulled him back onto the dance floor and began to dance.

Star spotted jason and ran to him. "I'm so sorry!" She said. "I met Peeves in the hall and I had to duel him and..."
Seeing she wasn't about to stop talking he interupted.
"It's alright! I'm glad you din't get hurt..." the rest of his sentence trailed away as he got a better look at her. "You look stunning!" He gaped at her.
"Thank you," Star blushed. "You look great too."

Arianna stopped dancing and winked at Skyler. "I was serious when I told her I'd get a picture." She said, pulling out a tiny camera. She went to where she had a good veiw of Jason's face and took the picture. She then banished the camera back to her common room and went back to dancing.

Shura sat down at a table and continued watching the dance off but her gaze sifted to Jon and Alx, Oh that's so cute! she thought. Her gaze went back to Jacques and she smiled, excited to see what Yami would do.

Yami began with a few ballet moves passe into a tandu back into an arabesque and straight into eight shene turns. After her last turn Yami did a backflip into soutenus with a hiproll and arm spirals. Finishing off with a step hops right to left foward shaking her finger 'no' at Jacques pushing him back

He smirked and stepped forward and then back in a lunge with his right foot and then lunged forward again with his right. He put his arms in second position and did several turns with spotting and then did a three quater kneel in front of Yami, shook his head and panted slightly, "No fair Yami! An arabesque? Really!"
Shura chuckled and got up to get Jacques something to drink so he'd have it when he was done.

"Would you perfer if I did this?" Yami grinned doing nonstop pipque turns and began doing front flips keeping her right foot centered on the dancefloor and using her left to manuvered her flips

He gave her a look, "What did you have for breakfast today? Pure sugar?" He shook his head clear ad mimiced her move and added and step-potisha move on his left foot. I can't keep this up much longer...I shouldn't have underestimated her He grinned, "You're definetly better than last time I saw you."
