Edge cut down the last orc of this wave, knowing more were on the way by the sounds coming from the forest. "Let's go further into the cave!" He wiped the blood from his blade on one of the orcs' clothes. He then sheathed his blade and began to run into the cave, moving as fast as he could to catch up with his friend. Delaine!

Korsu knelt quickly, wiping the blood and gore from his blade on the clothes of a nearby orc. He then rose and sheathed it in one moment, turning and entering the cave. The noise his hooves made as they hit the stone floor, echoing all around them, filling the cave. He trotted after Edge, running along the side of the cave, allowing room for Kora to pass him if she wished.

Kora raced after the human, passing the centaur carefully. In the back of her mind she feared that she might fall and be trampled, but quickly she set that thought aside. She caught up with Edge easily her breathing light and steady.
"What's the plan?" she asked wondering why they had decided to die in the back of a cave rather than in the front of one. It would be hard to escape when they were cornered back here.

Edge looked towards Kora as he ran, showing that he wasn't having the slightest of difficulty keeping up with her or running this long. "For now, it's for me to find Delaine!" He turned his head forward again and sped up a bit more. He was moving inhumanly fast now. He needed to find her. To make sure she was ok.

Sora waited silently, perched in a tree near the entrance of the cave watching them fight off the first horde of orcs. Once the first wave was defeated he flew down and peaked into the cave to make sure they were far enough in and that he couldn't be seen. "This cave is a dead end..." He whispered to himself and looked out at the forest and closed his eyes. "And the next wave is readily approaching... they will be trapped in here... and killed" He opened his eyes again and stood his ground and lifted his arms. "The moon is full... so I can do it.." He said as the air around him began to get charged with mana. He never really could explain it but when the moon was out his magic was intensified, and when it was full... he is almost like a well of mana. "Divine Wall" He said as a barrier of light closed off the entrance of the cave, his wings and eyes began to glow as the orcs crashed into the barrier trying to break through but he held strong.

Delaine ran all the way to the end of the cave, not stopping until she was sure she had reached a dead end. She moved around in the dark, not sure where she was headed until she decided to face the mouth of the cave, preparing herself in case anything was to come. She moved her foot backward and suddenly tripped. Delaine let herself fall, but as soon as she hit the ground she slid down a slope. What the--?! She held her breath as she turned herself to glide down the small hill, landing in a weird position at the bottom. Getting up slowly, she looked back and decided that it would be easy to get back again, if Edge found her here.
She turned again and found a sort of altar. Walking toward it she let her hand glide along it until she felt something stuck in it. Letting her fingers slide up she realized too late that it was a sword, her fingertips being cut by the blade. Taking her hand back and applying pressure, she found the hilt of it. What could something like this be doing here...? Hearing the battle noise from above, she put down her yumi and decided to give it a chance. Placing both hands on the hilt, she pulled at the blade, feeling it gradually slide out of the altar.

A bright light filled the whole room as the blade Delaine drew started to glow. In a flash of light, it formed into a small tome with chains wrapped around it and the holy sword fell into Delaine's hands, the light slowly fading as she held it in her hands. A small ferret like creature crawled on to her back and sniffed her neck. "You are my new master?" Zhirra looked down at the book and the pink ferret-like creature nodded it's head. "What is your name, girl?" It's cute, girlish voice filled the air. It sounded like a little child was speaking in the room, but the voice was from the creature on Delaine's shoulder.
((Ok, you control Zhirra from here. The Geo-Fortress doesn't get activated until Edge finds the other sword))
Edge slid down the slope Delaine had just fallen down. He reached the bottom and rolled so that there would be no injury then looked up to see a small, odd looking room with Delaine in front of an alter and a new weapon in her hand. He believed Shining Force was a blade as it was said to be, so he assumed that she had just found a new weapon. "Wow, Delaine! I didn't think there'd be anything in this cave." He looked around and stepped into the room. When his feet touched, it sounded like he was walking on some metallic surface. "Huh?" He looked around and saw a doorway on the otherside of the room. He jumped over the alter, knowing Delaine would follow and walked over to the door.

Kora followed close behind but when she saw that the girl had acquired the Shinning Force, her heart stopped, her stomach dropped, she wanted to kill herself and everyone around her, but couldn't because her body was frozen in shock. Her large cold eyes were trapped by the sight of the girl and her new sword. This was the most jealously she had ever felt in her entire life.
Once she could move again Kora swallowed hard and turned, she started to climb back up the slope that she had just climbed down. One big tear rolled down her cheek. She could not return home without the blade. And now... she had to do something.

((alright, got it))
Delaine was shocked when the blade transformed in her hands. She had seen its form for a moment, and thought it was rather strange, until it changed in her hands. She looked at the chains that wrapped around the tome and her arm until she felt something on her back. Seeing the small creature she was shocked that it could speak, using the word 'master'. "Um, its Delaine." She said quietly, finding the creature a little cute. The small ferret like creature crawled so that it could stay on her shoulder. "Zhirra." It said bluntly and then turned to look up behind them, and Delaine heard that others had gone down the slope as well.
Allouette couldn't help but smile when she saw Edge. Her friend was safe, and, as usual, moving on ahead. She turned to follow him when she heard more following them. However, when she turned, she saw the elf going in the opposite direction. Delaine didn't question it. She had not even become acquainted with Kora, even if she did fight alongside Edge against the orcs just now. She turned and followed Edge, patting Zhirra on her shoulder for a moment.

Korsu was mildly worried when he started to slid down the slope, unable to stop, he winced at the noise his hooves made as they slid down the metalic surface. Seeing Delaine had a sword in her hand and what Edge said, it dawned on him that it must be the Shining force. He saw them both head for a door and then followed them. He noticed that the elf crawled back up the slope. "I hope that I am able to accompany you, I have traveled for a few years looking for adventure, and it seems this will be the greatest one yet," he said as he followed the two of them slowly, waiting for their answer.

Edge looked back a Kora and quirked a brow at her exit. Before she could completely get up the slope, he had to say something. "Running off? Sounds just like something an old bat would do!" He smirked, hoping his intimidation technique would work and make her stick around. He gaze shifted towards the centaur as he asked if he could join them. Edge rubbed the back of his head and laughed a bit. "I don't see a problem with that." After that, he entered the door way and walked down the flight of stairs. He stepped into a large room, but couldn't see much so he continued to move ahead. "I bet Shining Force is in here!" He yelled out, completely unknowing of what Delaine actually held in her hand. "Hmmm..." He continued to move ahead until he reached another room, with another alter, and, of course, a sword stuck in the metallic shrine. "No way!" He had to resist jumping up and down with joy. After so many months of looking about for this sword, they had finally found it. He looked back to see if Kora had followed, thinking of a plan to let all four of them give drawing the blade a go. Pulled out some jerky he had in his pouch and held it in front of him, each piece varying from large to small. "Alright, whoever gets the smallest, goes last." He let the others draw before seeing what he would have left. When everyone had drawn the jerky, Edge discovered he was dead last. He let a groan escape his lips, positive he wouldn't be able to draw it now.

Delaine nodded to the centaur, agreeing with Edge. Afterwards she followed her friend down the staircase, taking care with every step. Upon seeing another altar, Delaine then realized what she was holding in her hands. Looking to the side at Zhirra, the creature nodded, already knowing the question her master had for her. However...Delaine looked down at the tome and then back to the altar in front of her. If she held Shining Force, then what was that? Or, could it be the other way around? She looked at her jerky and then turned to Edge. "I won't draw it." She told him, giving him a small smile and rubbing her eyes briefly, wondering how Edge can be so energetic.

Kora froze and slid back down the slope she saw what they had found... A second sword??? She took one of the straws and saw that she had the longest. With a grin she stepped up to the alter and put her hand on the hilt of the blade. it felt right, comfortable in her grip. She tugged it gently and nothing happened. Then she tugged it harder, until she was using all of her strength. The blade wound not budge. She tried using the other hand, two hands.... nothing worked. At last she let it go and sighed. this life was not for her after all, maybe she would be of more use in her next life?

((I noticed Kora's post and immediatly posted razz ))
Korsu sighed as he noticed the stairs. Bracing himself, he slowly made his way down the stairs, trying not to slip. Eventually, once he made it all the way down, he saw the second sword and noticed they were 'drawing jerky'. He got the second longest. Once Kora tried and then failed to draw the sword he said, "I suppose it is my turn now." He walked over to the sword and tugged on it lightly. With increasing force he pulled on it, nothing happened. He then tried with both hands and then let go. Looking back at them he said, "Well I'm done trying." He was not in the least bit worried or sad about not being able to draw the sword. It just wasn't his turn to do something important. Backing away from it and returning to them he smiled and said, "Since Delaine will not draw it, It is Edge's turn."
