Panting, the harpy moaned in pain but it’s right wing was trashed so it had no good means of escape. Observing that earlier spell had done some damage, the harpy tried to scream, coughing a spray of blood it managed to release the spell. Clutching the ground with its claws it was pushed hack by the strength of the spell. Kicking up sand and dirt from the wind, the spell rushed at the enemy. Enraged it’s wing was useless, and that it was losing the harpy added a personal curse in the scream. Tired from the spell, the harpy slumped slightly, moaning once more from pain it cursed at the human still in its own language; never wanting to learn English.

The last spell might not have hurt, but it caught her off guard and knock her back which ticked her off. She could also tell the harpy was probably using the last of its strength, which was kind of sad, since River could sense this spell was not that strong. She walked through the spell with a sigh, ignoring the scratches appearing on her arms. She could tell the harpy was in pain and River shook her head. This was why she wanted to finish the fight quickly. Humans often deserved their pain, but beasts were just running on instinct. ”I tried to kill you quickly..” She raised Helheim, facing the grenade launcher at the harpy. ”Sorry…” she said as she fired two grenades at the harpy before she slammed the bat twice at the harpy trying to finish the job. «Ra ✓

The harpy knew it was doomed the moment the grenade hit; the other attacks ensured its loss. It fell forward, feathers falling slowly with the wind as blood pooled. Death came quickly, giving no room for regret. A single feather was carried by the wind and it rested on the shoulder of the harpy’s killer.
{About ******** time...} ღRiver sighed and brushed the feather off her shoulder then she stretched her shoulders as she leaned Helheim against the wall of the valley. She still did not have enough strength to make this a useful weapon. Half the time she missed and the other, for some strange reason; the weapon was ineffective. It was a shame, she really adored that weapon, but she was going for speed. ”Bah…” she muttered scratching her skull, then she put away Helheim. Next time… She thought then hefted the case starting to jog once more towards the main nest. ღ

Swimming though the air, this harpy spotted a splash of color in the valley and dove low to see what it was. Uncovering it was a sister harpy she landed to discover the harpy had been killed by one other than the foul one. Revenge was on the harpy’s mind as it took to the skies in search for her sister harpy’s killer. Perhaps I should let the foul one kill this creature, she thought but she spotted movement down below and saw a running human and could smell the blood of her fallen sister coming from this human. Raising her claws she lunged, cutting through the air stealthily aiming the talons at the humans shoulders, trying to pierce both sides. If the attack hit, it would dig the claws deep trying to hook its claws before it sharply yanked them out. Slashing this time, the harpy aimed for the human’s neck knowing of its vulnerability. Everything depended on if she had caught the enemy by surprise or not, she knew this as she landed behind the enemy hissing as she raised her wings threating.

┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ River was jogging when she heard a soft noise behind her. Pain came before she could react, and she twisted pulling her gunblades out wanting to counter. She saw the claws aimed at her head and she raised her arms getting slashed on the forearm, blocking the second slash. Stupid little… she thought growing angry. ”Pigeon…” River muttered as she walked towards the harpy. She suddenly lunged with a right jab then twisted slicing at the stomach dragging the right gunblade, carving upwards. Mimicking the actions with her left, Sigel sliced upward. In a flash she slashed crossing her arms, both strikes aimed for the neck. «Pa ✓

Panting heavily, the harpy hissed and lowered its self; glaring at the human. Observing the nasty weapons she felt they fit the nasty girl, the harpy side stepped as she glared thinking of an attack plan. Kicking sand, the harpy batted it’s wings and moaned in pain as her left wing buckled for a moment. Embracing the pain, the harpy took a deep breath and screamed, sending a wave of magic. Moving in the air the harpy tried to stay at a distance of the human... Only to have its wing crumple causing it to fall. No way to escape the harpy hissed once more and tried threatening the human.

┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ River knew the spell was mild so she let it hit and swore as the harpy took to the air. She must not have done enough damage before. The harpy suddenly fell from the sky and River dropped her Helheim case as she charged timing her attacks and she held her gunbades out before her. She jumped and smashed her left leg on the side of the harpy’s neck knocking the harpy into the gunblade Sigel piercing its chest. She stabbed the gunblade Niht into the harpy’s left shoulder and fired two bursts of three rounds from each gun before she flipped back and slid along the dirt glancing up at the harpy hoping it will stay down. She wanted to test Helheim again, since the more you used a weapon, the better you got with it. But she would only do so if the harpy could not fly. {did not count the kick as an action or attack since it really just lowered the harpy into the blade… in a way XD she refused to cooperate till I put that in…} «Pa ✓
