Insomniac090 That's a really hard question. I think every character has their perks, and some of them are more complex than others. But I'm a sucker for those angels. The whole history behind Zaphikel and Raziel really interests me.  Thank you! Poor Raziel needs some love. He seems really underappriciated to me T.T I'm on book 11 and have loved him pretty much since he appeared. Except when he first appeared and I thought he'd be boring ;; He's the only manga character I get really really fangirly about anymore eek but don't get the wrong idea, I just think he's the cutest kid ever (except for Rio Kanno... ) Zephikel needs to get his sight back - he doesn't know what he is missing.

I'm gonna have to go with the angels... there's more of them that I really like than the demons. Even though typically I go for the demons.
Zaphikel, Raziel, Alexiel, and Jibril are ones I really like the back story on, even though Alexiel in particular is a character that I'm fairly ambivilent about. I personally really like Sevy, though most people don't seem to.
Gotta give my love to Lucifer though, as always... so sexy.

i love almost all of the AS characters since everyone is lovable in their own ways heart but i like the demons better than the angels xd
mad hatter rules! domokun
i remember reading the 10th volume, and i was really moved by the twins (Astaroth/Astarte), even though their relationship is kinda twisted

madhatter29 i love almost all of the AS characters since everyone is lovable in their own ways heart but i like the demons better than the angels xd mad hatter rules! domokun i remember reading the 10th volume, and i was really moved by the twins (Astaroth/Astarte), even though their relationship is kinda twisted whee I love Astarot more than Astarte, since Astarte was depicted as just kinda looney...not that Astarot wasn't, but we got to see more of what made him tick that wasn't about eating babies.

i couldn't decide if i liked angels or demons more.. i like them both, but most of my favorite characters happen to be angels..
my favorites are
Metatron, Zaphkiel, Raziel, Astaroth, & Riuet. <3

i liked the angels more because of the whole irony of them being called angel but their actions are anything but angelic........(plus zaphikel's an angel xd )

Give me a bunch of corrupted, selfish and powerful angels and I shall be happy. Yes, they are indeed my favorites. heart
As shwedagonchaos said, the irony about them being angels is absolutely lovely - and suits my beliefs that there are no good nor evil perfectly.

That whole thing is probably one of the reasons why I like Angel Sanctuary in the first place, that you never know who's the good guys. Though I'm afraid my twisted mind still prefer those twisted angels for reasons unknown.

I'd have to say that there are way more interesting/likeable characters in the demon cast. The angels are too wrapped up in being self righteous.

He just has a sense of morals, unlike very many ^_^; ) and some faceless characters we're supposed to hate anyway.
