I made a sour face at the man who had summoned the beast. " A fights not over until only one person is left alive" I said under my breath. I then look right in the masked mans eyes and shuddered. That mans power was crazy. I would surely die if i were to attempt to attack him.

I look at Drako. "He would die, he has no magical defenses, and when the drow is able to use some magics, its an uneven fight." I was now masking my voice, no use in little Jairn figure out who I was. I explain this under my breath to Drako. "And besides, that Jairn is alot like you Drako, I doubt he would stop and not kill the drow, and the last thing we need is a whole elf species getting mad and becoming indignant over a human beating one of their own." Katear whines a little. He had not seen combat since his early days as a hatchling. "And also, I know both the drow and the human need to get to their duties, especially the human. I bet whoever he works for has something for him to do!" Truthfully I did have a job, but I couldn't exactly call him in Purgatory. "And drow, maybe you could be a little less of a jerk, and a little more tolerant." I had learned tolerance was key to not getting killed, hopefully he would as well. I turn to Drako, "your turn to diffuse whatever may arise! I have work to do!" I smile, bow my head in a respective manner, and form a portal out of there. Back in the bar, I go back to my human self, in the bathroom, and go out, find my helmet, and head to the office.

I blinked, "Wait..."I said turning to the man in the mask, "Is the fight over?" The man laughed, "Vincent's right, you are just like me!" I shook my head,"I uh...dont even know who you are?" He just laughed again, formed a portal, and shoved me in. What the heck?! I fell backwards into the bar, and right into the drow, spilling his beer all over him. "Woops...."

I shrugged, "I kinda got shoved through a portal that opened apperently right onto you, sorry....What's your deal anyway?" I just realised I still had my blades out and put them in their sheaths. All the people in the bar where looking at us, but a quick glare made them look away fast enough. "You're a good fighter, what is it exactly you do?"

I thumb the dossier on a man whom I had seen just thirty minutes ago. Its amazing what kind of attention you could be attracting and never even know it. He was in fact a drow, his name was Jarlaxle Baenre. I thumb through it some more, a photo, his race, and his name. Not much to go on. I pick up my cell phone and dial Jairn. Pick up....

"The man sitting next to you, what is his name?" I smile, if he wasn't confused yet, he soon would be. "I just need to know. And I have a job for you, but it can wait for a bit."

I blinked, his name? "Um....whats your name?" THis was becoming confusing fast, I just wanted a drink! I never did like magic, it always seemed....out there, not really that connected with the world. I shrugged, and spoke into the phone, "Why do you want to know exactly?"
