Faolan blushed slightly, not sure how to answer. "Ellandra wants to be a good mother because she's going to have a baby. We're going to be parents." He gave Ellandra a sort of "help" look.

Ellandra, though tired from her general lack of sleep and the morning's events, couldn't help but smile at Faolan, then at Rhian with a sort of weary patience. "We'll be adding a little human to this family in a few months," she said lightly, brushing a hand over one of Rhian's wings. "I want to be able to care for it as I should."
Understanding, Rhian fluttered her wings rapidly, a habit that would probably come to signal excitement as her personality developed. "Baby is.... human Spark? I help, I mentor; EllAHNdra Owner-not-called-Owner to care well for baby; stress is unhealthy, moreso than without baby; understood, I help." The butterfly brushed her antennae over Faolan and Ellandra both.
The brunette woman blinked at the way the Proto was saying her name, not particularly liking Rhian's insistence of adding the "owner" in there. The proto was a part of their famiy, not something less than that, after all. Well, she had much to learn, and teaching the Proto and she helped her with her problems would be a very good thing, so that she didn't drown in the unleashed monsters from her past. Fighting back a yawn, Ellandra decided to gently correct her. "You don't have to call me all that, little one. Goodness, what a mouthful that would be. Just Ellandra is fine."
Rhian dipped her head. "Understood; Owner-not-called-Owner tedious, too long. Ell-AHN-dra then. Ellandra." If she wasn't far too new to have a personality, one might think the serene little butterfly sounded proud at figuring out what her owner wanted. But of course it was much too soon for that. She tilted her head and brushed her antennae against Ellandra again, just barely, and 'hmmmed' softly to herself for a moment. "Rest, please. Ellandra is tired, sleeping when tired is healthy. No bad dreams, you are safe. Rest. Please?"

Faolan smiled at the little Essentic, and moved around on the bed, shuffling Zia over to lay behind him as he stretched out, pulling Ellandra against his chest. His little family. They weren't normal and they had their problems, but they were his.
"Little bug, there's a set of rafters up there you can cling to for sleeping if you want," Faolan said, pointing upwards. He pushed Zia back a bit more, then settled on his back so both his wife and "kid" could snuggle against him. Yawning, he stretched a bit, then relaxed, closing his eyes.

Ellandra yawned again, snuggling up to Faolan and closing her eyes. "There's ......n' way 'm goin' to work t'day," she murmured (slurred, really) tiredly. "T' much. . ." She was asleep before she could finish her sentence.
"Understood," the little proto intoned mildly. Rhian moved from her perch, obligingly settling on a rafter; though she didn't sleep, instead observing the small family huddled on the bed, trying to understand and analyze what she needed to know for accomplishing her purpose.
