Kieran gave a small smile, thinking quietly to himself. “I can only hope the family can survive it.” Was all he could say… He didn’t seem to be able to find any words of reassurance for his sons... for they would all be lies. “How about we find out how your mother is fairing up?” He lifted morph and Hermies off of him and set them onto the ground, standing himself. He wanted this to be perfect and goddamn it, it would be.

Dracal looks towards his mother then at the medic then his sister. He moves into his mother's arms. He nuzzled her slightly. "She'll be alright, Mom.. She got a strong will. She is also a fighter.." He paws her cheek slightly to try to help her feel better. "I will be here for you, mama.. as long as you want me to." He just lays against her chest, sighing while waiting for the medic.

"I truly hope you're right darling." she muttered quietly as she stared at the door, almost emotionless. She just sat there, barely moving, waiting for the medic to return. Waiting for a terrifying diagnosis. She sat with her hand resting on her knees, trying not to break down in tears once again. She had to be strong, for Dracal and for Kieran and for the other kittens. But most importantly she had to be strong for her Nyx.
Nyx was poked and prodded by the medic, gently of course. She hadn't yet given in to the feeling that she wanted to pass out. She knew that she would be done for if she gave up and gave into the horrible sleepiness that was washing over her.
The medic slowly poked his head around the door and Persy got up, so quickly that she almost knocked Dracal off of her. "Is she alright?" she asked, her voice breaking. The medic looked at her for a second. "I've given her an IV drip for fluids since she's so dehydrated. Basically she's suffering from Malnutrition but from taking a closer look at her I believe that she may have a heart mummer that she's had since she was born I'd say. Also from the rash under her fur I'd say that she have a severe case of photo sensitivity. It seems like such a severe case that going out into the sun at all will be dangerous to her but at the moment it seems that she's stabilizing but I believe that it's still to early to tell."
