2e definitely feels better suited to roleplay, since, while yes, you do have to roll dice, you can do some crazy, crazy s**t... like fight naked and still be pretty alright... and headbutt people when you want without fear.

if you wnt to prepare for it the rules are simple.
banned classes:
Ninja
Psion
Everything else goes.
You can use anything from any book 3/3.5 which means any race any class as long as it is playable.
As for Dice.
Roll 4d6 take away lowest # Reroll 1's and anything below a 10. If you reroll you cant go back to a previous rol. And on the third i don't care i you roll a 3 your stuck.

It couldn't be a three.. it would have to be a six. =p... Mind if I roll on Myth-Weavers? Their set up makes dice rolling for rerolls so much easier.
