Michael had just gotten a hand ont the middle rope when the stomps came, stopping the rising michael in his tracks, however he would hold on to the rope, fighting hard to get back to a vertical base.

Cyrus paused while Michael was getting up. When he was up Cyrus quickly went for a hard forearm to the face.

Michael would suddenly go to duck under the forearm, attempting to grab ahold of Cyrus feet and yank them out form under him. If succesful Michael would immediatly go for an attempt at locking cyrus into the Corkscrew.

Cyrus was thrown onto his back and locked into the Corkscrew. They were very close to the ropes so it would be anything but impossible to get to them. He quickly tried to crawl to the ropes.

Stone would get up from the announce table and head over to ringside, seeing Cyrus struggling to get the ropes. Matt would lean in the ring and go to punch Cyrus right in the face, clearly in front of the referee.

Cyrus shuttered as the fist hit him in the face. The ref motioned for the bell due to interference.

Michael let go of the hold thinking that he had won when he saw what had really happened. Anger filled him up as he glared at Matt for a few moments, disbeleif clouding his thoughts when he suddenly started foreward ready to chase Matt down.
