Oh this was just priceless! Her dearly devoted Te was jealous of her making a new contact! Tariel snickered to herself behind the demonic veil, her thorny tail swooshing from side to side with her delight at the situation. She briefly wondered if Te naively thought she was the demoness' only source of soul throughout the world. Oh tonight would certainly prove to be wonderful once she got her hands on her devoted little soul snatcher. If demons could lover, then Tariel was sure she'd love Teanna at that very moment for her show of possesiveness. But alas, the succubus was not burdened with such an emotion.
Laughing joyfully at the ridiculousness of the situation, Tariel oddly followed the instructions Te gave so angrily and flashed herself to the opulent poolhouse. Such a beautiful little building that Te had decorated and setup just for Tariel's darker needs.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ The young Geogian hardly noticed the air thicken with tension between Te and Spencer as her own seduction seemed to take greater hold of her mind. Everything felt so thick and sweet around her, like drizzling honey over a nude body just waiting to be tasted. A strange, irritating ringing seemingly broke through Constance's heavily bespelled mind, shattering the calm the situation had placed on her her. Mumbling an apology, Constance shook her head trying to lift some of the fuzziness.
One gloved hand rummaged through the clutch that was attached to her wrist until her business phone came into her grasp. Fumbling with it in her beused state, Constance looked at the unfamiliar number. Who had her business number outside of her family and associates? Looking up she blushed softly at Teanna's intense gaze, no doubt still redicated upon her seeming annoyance with Spencer.
"If you'll excuse me for just a moment, Teanna. I have to answer this," she quietly offered her explanation before walking away. Once she had madeit outside to the humid but clean air of the night, she answered her phone, "This is Constance Ashford."

"Hello Constance, my name is Erin Den Adel. I know this is going to sound a bit strange and very odd, but is there any way we can meet? I must discuss with you some issues pertaining to your estate." He morphed his voice to sound very convincing, one not needing her to call her true lawyer. His voice and tone light and full of promise, to those who were pure would trust and believe. "It is most impairative i see you. further introductions can be made once we meet. Where can we meet?"

Davis had been on earth 3 years. He liked it here. His "code name" was Scott Mason. He was a 3rd class angel who loved people. He had many times wandered off into the woods at night and seen demons. Now he had heard another angel was coming to earth. He was ready to have someone to talk to after 3 years of silence, but were is he? the other angel should of been here by now. I've been waiting for atleast 4 hrs now...

The Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church was originally a thriving centre of the community when it was built back in the fifties. These days, however, it was home to a single priest and only a handful of semi-regular church-goers, and though it was loved by those few who made it their place of worship, it was obvious that the glory days had passed. Today, however, it was host to something a little bit different...
___________________________________________________________
"Finlay, take your squad, secure the area and make sure nobody finds their way in."
"On it, captain."
"Jacks, get on the radio and let Fortress know we've secured the target and are deailng with it now."
"Yessir."
A half dozen more orders were issued, finaly leaving the worship hall empty save for two people. One of them, the commander of the small strike force that had taken over the church, took a quiet moment to contemplate the other... a girl, not much more than a child, bound to a chair in the centre of the room. He regarded her with pity, but not the pity of a man reconsidering his actions. There was no hesistation here, no doubt. He had committed to this course of action with every ounce of his soul. HIS soul. But there was still pity. And he could be kind.
"I'm sorry, Jennifer," he said at last. He could offer that much. There would be screaming, soon, and he knew there would be no forgiveness, not from her. But part of his strength was doing what he did despite knowing that there could never truly be forgiveness. Nobody would ever thank him for this. It had to be done, however.
"Why are you doing this?" She had a sweet voice, even marred by the sobs halting her speech. She was scared. And confused. She was a good girl, always thought of others before herself. How could she have ever imagined herself in a situation like this? "How do you know who I am?"
Seamus had time. His soldiers would return soon and it would be time to finish this, but he had time. He knew she wouldn't understand or accept, but he did owe it to her to try. So he braced himself, then approached her, his thick combat boots sounding loudly on the floorboards as he crossed the room towards her. Then he squatted to sit on his heels. "Listen very carefully, Jennifer. This isn't your fault. But you've been marked by... people... who would use you. Did you ever wonder why your life has been so blessed? Why you've never been sick? Why you're luckier than anyone you know? This is no accident, Jennifer. They can't very well let their host die before they have a chance to use you, after all."
"What are you talking about?" Her response was typical, and nearly hysterical. She'd concluded that she was in the company of a madman, and he knew it. He'd heard it many times before. But he still owed it to them. They were innocent, and deserved at the very least the truth.
"Jennifer, I told you to listen. There are forces at play here beyond what they teach you in school. And they use us. Like chess pieces on a board. You've been chosen as a pawn, but I'm here to free you. You'd like that, wouldn't you?"
A hope, then. Maybe he was going to let her go. "Please? I just want to go home." And then she was sobbing again, confused. Not sure whether to be relieved or even more worried. There was an edge to his words that did little to comfort.
"Captain, Fortress confirmed our message. They've already got another lead for you to check out."
Seamus turned to regard jacks, rising up from his conversation. "Good. It's time to end this then." He turned to his pack, then, an old, worn but still serviceable hold over from his marine days. And from it he pulled out several items; a mid-sized notebook, chalk, salts of some sort. Some sort of medallion and a few other smaller relics.
"Captain, are you sure she's one of them? She's so...."
"Young? Yes, I'm sure Jacks." Seamus could still see the doubt, though. Jacks was new, he hadn't been a part of the mission as long as the others. His loyalty wasn't in question, but Seamus had, among other things, a good sense of the people about him. So he picked up his radio, thumbing the transmit button. "Harris, need you in here."
He hadn't long to wait. The church was small and Finlay had more than enough men, placed discreetly, to disuade any outside company. A firefight was highly unlikely, and Seamus had a better use for the company marksman. "You called, Sir?"
"Harris, shoot the girl."
Sometimes the chain of events in a given situation can get muddled. That is, it's hard, sometimes, to say which happens first, last, in the middle. Jacks would never really be able to piece it together. All he would know, later when he was thinking about it while trying to get to sleep, is that there was screaming.. from the girl, most likely... shock, mostly from himself... and of course the gunshot. Harris was good. In his short time with the company, Jacks had never heard of Harris missing anything. Jacks had watched as Harris had gone on to empty his entire clip. And not a single bullet touched the girl.
"They won't let her come to harm. She's protected, Jacks."
But Seamus knew a way around that protection. When the company withdrew shortly after, Jennifer Wilson's blessed life was over.
The Our Lady of Peace catholic church died with Jennifer. Nobody wanted to worship the Lord in a place where there were obvious signs of witchcraft and devilry.
The Wilson family never recovered. Jason was never able to live up to the example set by his sister, and his parents couldn't ever let her go. He ended up in juvenile hall, years later, and then was killed in the streets in a small gang scirmish. Her father drank himself to death, and her mother, though she survived, would spend the rest of her days as a mere shadow of a woman.
Somewhere, an Angel mourned the loss of his ward. And worried for the future of the world.

Tuyen Daffe awoke with a heavy heart on the anniversary of his sister's death. It wasn't the day so much as an almost overwhelming sensation that something, somewhere, was terribly wrong. Unaccustomed to such feelings he pondered it as he went about the daily mundane tasks of readying himself for the day - brushing his teeth, combing his hair with his fingers, and grabbing one slightly less wrinkled t-shirt and a very faded pair of jeans from his closet. It wasn't the most high-maintenance routine but it suited the strange amnesiac.
Eventually the feeling faded and Tuyen dismissed it as nothing more than the residue of a poor dream. He didn't remember his dream, he never remembered his dreams, but he was sure that's what it would be.
He made his way through his neighbourhood - a neighbourhood that many considered a very dangerous one - without incident, much like every day of his young (was he young? he couldn't be sure) life until he had walked the several blocks to the charity center.
Ashford Youth Center.
That was the sign above the door. Within it contained many facilities - indoor basketball courts, video games room, a small computer and book library, and a skate-board rink in the back. Tuyen made his way to the front desk, a position of vigil he took every day, seven days a week, and smiled a farewell to the portly older woman he was relieving. Everyone smiled more when Tuyen was around and he liked it that way, bringing a little bit of happiness to their lives was akin to christmas every day of his own.

Tariel lounged regally in the pool house waiting for her newest guest to show up. She'd quite effciently gotten rid of her formal human wear, opting for her demonic lingerie she wore daily. Her thorny tail swished eagerly from side to side. If everything went well tonight she could easily stave off her hunger with the shining half of Spencer's soul until she could claim Constance's.
An interlude with Spencer foreshadowing her interlude with Te made the gorgeous demoness simply quiver with excitement in the darkned room alight with candles throwing their flaming shadows everywhere.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Constance streched lazily in her four-post bed as her alarm started chiming calling her out of her sleep to start her day. Throwing her lithelegs out of her bed, she squidged her toes in the plush carpet before padding over to the grand bathroom of her suite. A philanthropist she might be, but the young Georgian had no problem indulging when she in the states. She was sure all her charity work compensated for her small luxuries she took in her accomodations.
Letting her satin nightgown slide to the floor, She stepped into the steaming hot shower washing away the cobwebs of the night and tried not to think about the steamy, sexual dreams she was having about Teanna Westwood. Part of her really had the wiggins fro them, the other part of her was completely ready to let Teanna have her wicked way with her.
In only took her about an hour to finish her shower, eat, and quickly change into a sharp, cream business suit that set off her naturally tan skin nicely. Wrapping her hair up in a lose bun, she grabbed her purse and made her way out of her hotel before calling a cab. She wanted to check on one of her projects while she in town. Ashford Youth Center.
A petulant frown formed on her lips as she saw the community really didn't look any better then the last time she was here. She'd specifically delegated funds to be used for both the youth center and to help the community! Huffing annoyingly, Constance quickly paid her driver and got out of the cab in front of the Youth Center only to be awarded with a never ending smile. A tired grin came to her face, "I never have to worry about being upset around you Tuyen. Always here to cheer me up."

Erin, having been following her for days, was still quite aware of what was around him and the possible serpent ways of sin that wokred its way into the lives of any humans.
He had been sitting across the street from the youth center, while she went in, debating how he should present himself to her. He did not like much to be a shadow following someone. At least not this way.
It was sometime shortly later, he decided to go and meet her in person. Erin pushed himself off of the wall he had been leaning on for about ten minutes, brushed his neat clean clothes off and began to walk over to where she was.

"Cheering you up is the least of what I wish I could do to repay your kindness to this community Ms. Ashford."
Tuyen's fine brow furrowed slightly for a moment, the meaning of her words hitting her only after his sincere response to them, and he looked to her with concern clearly showing in his eyes.
"It's not my place to ask about your troubles Ms. Ashford, but is there something I could do to help?"
Tuyen had always felt that Constance was the exeption to that upper class and did not think herself above those that her money was sent to help. This was why she travelled to the scene of her donations herself, this was why she immersed herself in the details of planning and making use of her donations, and this was why she knew many of those who worked at her community centers by name.

Erin walked up silently and politely to the door letting a lady behind him to go first, smiling to her. He then walkedin saying hi to those around him smiling. As Erin walked up to the desk he pulled his attention to the receptionist.
"Yes, I am here for some information about your organization."
There was a pause before the lady asked his name.
"Erin, Erin Den Adel."
He nodded to her as she typed visiously on her keyboard. He did notice the lady next to him and the young man next to her on the otherside.
"Hello, there having a nice day ma'am, sir?"

Teanna Westwood was at home, like always, sipping on a fine glass of champagne when it happened. It was a flicker from the corner of her eye, the ghost of a figure, and when she turned to scrutinize it there was nothing. A glare settled over her features as she continued to stare down the corridor simply daring it to manifest once more.
Te had done too many things and seen too many others to assume that it was a trick of the light or the champagne. In fact she also knew that it was that same mentality that got people killed. So, instead of ignoring it and continueing on she set the champagne down on the stand closest to her, bee-lined for the study that was just around the corner, and seized the iron stoker from the fire-place.
She could feel the cold despite the fire and so when she turned and came face to face with the apparition she was not surprised at it's presence. What did surprised her was the face of the boy she had killed, or rather, sucked the life out of, mere nights ago. She refrained from a gasp when he reached for her and instead cut through his form with the stoke, the pure iron shaft causing the image to disperse, and then she dropped it as her confusion gave way to anger.
There was no danger to her from the spirit alone except for its presence. Well versed in enough hoodoo Te had adequately sealed her mansion home off from unwelcome intrusions of any paranormal origins, the importance of such a task only more important when she had Tyriel frequenting her home and the risk of spirits riding in on her manefestations ever present, and so that meant that either her hoodoo had been disturbed or something was happening on the other side of the veil.
Yes, Teanna Westwood knew far more about such matters than the average person. It came with the territory when one sold their soul to a devil in exchange for otherwordly powers of her own and more monetary wealthy than anyone could dream possible.
Of course she knew one other who had more knowledge than she during such matters and she was now on her way there with the stoker back in hand, hurrying her pace to be there before another apparition appeared, and hoping that Tariel was still in the pool house.

While her prey had never turned up, the seductive demoness was in no rush to possess Spencer's mind. He'd always be around, and the hunt was 75% of the fun in her mind, or his as the case may be. Never once leaving her plush pool house that Teanna had designated for the sweet succubus, she'd summoned a little fun for the night...and day...and into the following evening. Two Arch Demons had answered her seductive call into the deepest reaches of Hell, and here she was being pleasured by both in her little abode.
Sheens of sweat and rivulets of blood ran down all of them as they attacked each other in their passion. HEr mouth was ravaged by Furfur, Count of Hell, the angelic demon of flames his flaming tail singing her porcelain skin; while Gaap, Prince of Hell, intensified that passion and animalistic tendencies of the three nude bodies and transported them throughout the building into the oddest positions. Their unified screams of pleasure and pain could easily be heard through the barrier if they wished it.
36 hours straight of demon sex would make even the strongest demons collapse in exhaustion. So there the three lay in her pool house, lying all over each other as wounds healed. But Tariel perked up when she felt her minion coming, a wicked grin passed over her face.
"We have a visitor coming my loves," she whispered huskily kissing Gaap before switching to FurFur.
The Count looked up at her, fire burning in his demonic gaze,"Dinner?"
She laughed, "No...no....my minion....or one of them. You'll like her."

Erin waited with patience while the young recpetionist acquired the information he needed, as well as Miss Constance to acknowledge him. She was a bright young lady, who in his eyes would pass through the gates of heaven with ease. Her aura comforted even him. She must be busy thinking of the things she has on her agenda and he would be there to make sure she could not fall into the grip of hell.
He then looked to the young man, and surveyed him closely. He had a strange aura about him. His was much like hers, only more pure. Another Angel? Could he be the lost angel fallen to earth years ago? Erin could not be sure. He would need to investigate into the matter. If he was the angel Erin thought about, then matters could be slightly complicated, or made easier, depending on how brainwashed he has been by the humans.

 [Westwood] "Tariel!"
It was difficult for a woman of Teanna's breeding to remain calm when the world around her, one that she had seeming control over, was becoming something entirely different from what she had known. In that almost-panic she forgot herself, and more importantly the respect she ought to have shown Tariel (especially with her present company), when she burst into the lavish pool house.
Three human figures, or apparently so, sprawled across each other. The air was heavy with the tell-tale scent of what they had been up to, musk mixing with pheromones and sexual excitement, and it was enough to stop her dead in her tracks. It took only a moment for Teanna to see the true faces of these demons, Tariel was the first and most easily recognized due to their bond, and then the other two as well.
To say their true appearance was different from the skins they wore on Earth was an understatement. One was large and muscular, his form rippling with muscles that could only be gained from the fiercest of environments, dark of skin with eyes pale as the day sky immediately fixing on her when she entered. The other was also muscular, but also slim, his beauty quite remarkable compared to many other creatures of hell. His flaming tail whipped quickly as if in excitement when he too rested his eyes on her.
Immediately she felt as a mouse when stumbling into the house cat's den. Tariel had many conquests, both human and demonic, but never before had she allowed Teanna into the presence of other Arch Demons. By their appearance she could guess their name but, after already making the mistake once, she dared not speak their true names to their faces.
The desire to turn and bolt was nearly impossible to resist, her lowly human self exposed to such mighty presences, but she resisted. If there was anything she had learned from Tariel is that the reason she was still alive, as opposed to Tariel's other servants throughout the years, was that she was bold. She clung to that inner fire that she'd always had, the same inner fire that had given her the courage to strike that first deal with the Succubus, and stood straight.
"Tariel," She repeated more confidently, "Something is happening in the Veil."
The Veil. The place between worlds, between heaven, hell, and earth, the place were Will existed.

It would not be long before she would make her self known once more. For the past year Amelia, lived hidden away from the world preparing for the day she would emerge from the shadow of her former self, a Queen. She took care to have the construction on her new mansion supervised only by her, and built by few. It was almost finished and the men she had were just amazing, both on and off the job. They never went unrewarded for the work they did, and she felt it an incentive to complete the job thoroughly and timely. One man found out that if he did not do his job she would not give to him what he wanted, but a death so slow and painful the other men had a small fear of her.
Fear took the backseat as she would easily ignite the pleasures their bodies yearned for so desperately. They had told her it would be only a month before the mansion stood completely finished. Now the time came to send out her invitations to her open house and re-emergence into the world.
She had sent a list of names to her personal assistant, instructing him to make sure each name was printed right and the addresses made out perfectly.

Her steely gaze landed on the fire stoker her lovely minion grasped in her hand like a life-line. Quite honestly, the succubus had never seen her little soul-snatcher this panicked...well ever in all their association. Not even in the very beginning when Tariel had defined how their relationship would work once their pact was sealed.
"A fire stoker, Te? Do you really think that would save you from anything coming through the veil?" she patronized her minion, while leaning over to Gaap's shoulder, lapping up residual blood and sweat never letting her eyes leave Te's face.
Sighing when she received no response from her captivated worker, Tairel stood in all her naked glory and walked over to the young heiress. Brushing back her beautiful hair, she placed two clawed finger on either side of Te's temples. She wanted to see what she saw. A small frowned marred her facial features as she saw the apparition....hadn't that been her lunch a few days ago??
The flaming tail of her previous lover snaked around her waist allowing the Arch Demon to see what she saw through touch. Tariel was startled from her reverie as the Count laughed loudly, "A ghost? That is what this about? Oh please Tariel your human needs a backbone or ave you already removed it??"
A growl started deep in her throat at his insult of Teanna. She'd become very fond of the heiress. Breaking her mental connection with Teanna and turned around slowly to level a glare at the angelic demon, "One would think in the depths of hell you would have tried to learn something of our ways, FurFur instead of indulging all the time. This is not about a ghost.....this one is not a ghost. In fact it was my meal a few days ago."
Taking Teanna's hand in her own, Tariel curled up with her minion on a separate chaise quite annoyed at her lovers, " Honestly, it only comes down to two options. Either the RIver Styx is not being attended to properly and the souls there are escaping back to Limbo....or....and far more likely.....the balance is shifting."
Gaap's mouth hung open in shock before closing to contemplate that thought, glancing at the Count next to him the demon snapped his fingers to banish him back to the City of Dis. Gaap was not one to risk involvement from an underling, he was after all a Prince and had no desire to share powerful information with a Count.
"You believe the balance is shifting, Tariel?"
"It only makes sense. The lack of angelic presence presently on Earth lends credence to the theory," she murmured suddenly wondering about that as well. Its not like two Arch Demons and a Demon could have days upon days of sex and not have the angelic community feel their presences.
Gaap looked thoughtfully at Tariel and her companion before speaking once more,"You should bring your theory to the attention of the Three. My father would meet with you upon by referral Tariel."
Tariel's grip in Teanna's hair strengthened with shock, "That is absurd! You know very well I reside in the City. I have not passed the Wastelands or the Malebolge!"
"But I have....it would not be that hard to lead you through. If your little pet can live without you for the time in the Wastelands," he rebutted nonchalantly taking note of Teanna's facial expressions during the conversation,"This is powerful information Tariel, could make or break your status in Hell."
Her eyes narrowed," Why give me that power?"
One more snap of his fingers decadently clothed his delicious body, "I've always coveted a companion as powerful as myself. Let me know Tariel, the offer won't stand forever."
Gapp's sudden disappearance only make Tariel sniff in disdain. Cross the Wastelands indeed.Releasing her fist from Teanna's hair, she went to stroking it instead," Souls from the veil cannot hurt you Teanna...they may unnerve you, but they cannot hurt you with your connection to me."
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
"Ms. Ashford??"
Constance looked up in weary frustration. She'd been sifting through the account books trying to figure out why the funds she'd given the area hadn't been properly allocated. Her temper had flared when she'd found out her area supervisor had never delivered it but stolen from her. He had of course been promptly fired and arrested. But now she was without an area supervisor and more money needed to be brought here to help.
She sighed,"What is it?"
"Just a few things ma'am," answered the young woman," You've received some mail that was sent over here from your hotel marked "rush". And that young man Mr. Adel? He's still waiting to speak with you."
Rubbing her temples, Constance pulled her hair back into a messy but sweet looking bun, "Ok, hand me the mail, send me Tuyen, and then tell Mr. Adel I'll see him after I'm through with Tuyen."
A beautiful parchment envelope was placed reverently on her desk as the young woman rushed to find Tuyen. Constance looked at the missive inside before the young woman came back; She practically pushed him into Constance's office a few moments later. His confused look was quickly leading into him saying something before she held up a finger to quiet him,"Here's the deal Tuyen. I've figured out the problems that were left here. Apparently my area supervisor wanted the funds I'd sent for himself, hence why things have been so horrible here lately. And I need a new one., someone I can trust. And honestly I don't have the time to interview a whole gaggle of new people. So I'm giving you the job. You'll be my corporations representative out here. Its an incredible job. You'll pretty much never want for anything, if you're anything like me you'll still come down here and help like you do."
Next she blushed before he could answer her,"One other thing to tell you, it seems I'm in need of a date for a housewarming. I'd be very honored if you'd come with me.
