I know where you're coming from, mary. (By the way, I've read your rant about how Sensui is a Mary-Sue. Priceless.)
I don't see how he could have been alive with his eyes relatively open for that long and never see any human do anything wrong, ever. All he had to do was turn on the world news one night and he'd see lots of reasons why humans aren't great.
